History
Established in 1976.
* Our doors opened in 1976, we started out doing alterations & tailoring. Before long and the area heard I had graduated from the Fashion Institute of technology and worked as designer in NY for 4 yrs it brought in manufactures of the area having us do pattern making, designing and markers for the industry. This than lead to work for the police department in making motor pants for the motor cops. Than bicycling shorts for the cyclists. Things did not stop at this as we than did cut & sew of small orders for local requests including English riding jackets, bathing suite cover ups, specialty tee shirts, privet labeling, If a machine could sew it we were asked. As the years passed we expanded to the needs of the requests which added embroidery, tackle twill, screen printing, rhinestones, heat transfers and the direct to garment printer. Andrea S.
Business Owner
Business owner and senior designer, Andrea, graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology New York in 1970 and worked as a fashion designer in NY prior to opening a garment factory in 1974. Looking for more creative variety and to focus her career on custom tailoring, Andrea and her mother Viola founded Goose Bumps in Longwood Florida in 1976.
For more than 30 years, Goose Bumps has been providing superior customer service and quality offering services that focus on garments; i. e alterations, tailoring, custom designs, pattern making, embroidery, screen printing, and direct to garment printing just to name a few.
