History

Established in 2012.

We are a hard working family from Eastern Europe, and immigrated to the United States in 2006. I achieved United States Citizenship in 2010, The greatest day of my life.

Prior to moving to the United States, I was a businessman who owned and managed several businesses. They included a restaurant, a motorcycle, and a limousine business. When I arrived in the United States I was first a carpenter/​cabinet maker. You can see some of my cabinets at the restaurant.

My greatest passion in Europe was the restaurant I managed. I was trained by one of the best restaurateur’s in Europe. He drilled into my head that customer service was the number one most important thing for a restaurant, along with exceptional food value. The customer must think they are getting a tremendous value for his money. If the customer gets a good value along with great customer service, they will be back with friends. And of course, the customer must love the food.

My name is Chaleur. I have been an executive chef for many years. I graduated from The New School



of Social Research culinary studies. I have worked in many kitchens over the past years, including the



Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan, N.Y. I have owned and operated restaurants in New York, Miami, and



Orlando. I am now working in the kitchen at Max and Meme, and hope to see you there!
