George The Tech Guy

George is the MAN! He charges a flat hourly rate (one hour minimum). The rate is very reasonable especially when compared to other rates quoted in the Chattanooga area.
–I called the number he provided and he answered immediately.
–He listened attentively to my issue and assured me it would take no time to fix.
–He came to my house after work a day and a half after my initial call (he works full time during the day so is probably only available nights and weekends– I didn’t ask about emergencies).
–As promised he fixed the problem within minutes (and he didn’t laugh at me). I should note that I spent about 2 hours prior to calling George with tech support from my anti-​virus software provider and my Internet Service Provider and neither were able to help me).
–I had a list of random problems prepared to make good use of the hour. He stayed a little past the hour (and only charged me for one hour), solved all of the issues and my system is working a lot more efficiently.
One thing– he does not use a Blackberry and did not seem to know all that much about them. He was honest about that which scores points in my book, but I don’t know if he is your best resource for BB’s.
He has a very easy going personality. He listens to your concerns without cutting you off. I felt comfortable with him in my home and felt that he was very competent in resolving my issues.
I will certainly call him if I need anything in the future and would refer him to anyone with an IT issue.
Even our cats liked him– and THAT is saying something!
