Deluca’s Place In the Park & Catering Service

Truly a weak facility. Came here for a high school reunion and was amazed that it is possible to be this bad. Salad was plain — main ingredient being strips of dark yellow rubbery cheese. Water jug in center of table was never refilled after first time it was placed there and quickly emptied, despite our requests. Meal was buffet, thank God, which means I could skip the nastiest looking items. Coffee only one kind — no decaf, but three small pitcher/​thermoses, only one of which labeled («hot water»). Had to guess at contents of others. Dessert was a choice of apple pie or banana cream pie. Most at my table chose banana cream. Mistake. It was frozen solid. Obviously just brought out of freezer (sliced in advance). We had to eat it by slicing off thin slivers. Tasted mostly like ice. Terrible food experience.
