The Nord Center will provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare service that is culturally competent and evidenced-based. The Nord Center has provided mental health service since 1948. They promote recovery, dignity and well being for our clients, their families, and the community we serve. The Nord center employs over 240 & services more than 6,000 clients.

Established in 1998.
The Nord Center was founded in 1947 and was named in 1970 in honor of Walter G. Nord (1884 – 1967), founder of Nordson Corporation and lifelong supporter of our agency’s services and mental health initiatives designed to help all the citizens of Lorain County
