MTR Auto Service

I have experienced disappointment with numerous auto repair shops in Northern Virginia. The auto repair shops have either provided sloppy or incorrect auto repairs (charged me but failed to fix the problem) or tried to overcharge me for repairs. MTR Auto Service sets the example for how auto repair service should be provided to customers. MTR Auto service provided an honest assessment for A/​C repair costs to my car. I nervously gave my car to Marvin of MTR Auto Service and waited for the results. Marvin of MTR Auto Service was efficient, fair, and honest. My A/​C is now ice cold The diagnosis and repair action was thoroughly explained to me in detail., Marvin called me the day after the repair to ensure I was satisfied with my repair. I made a follow up appointment for MTR Auto Service to tune up my car. I brought my car to MTR Auto Service in order to verify whether or not the positive Unilocal reviews were correct. The positive Unilocal reviews are absolutely correct. I wrote this review as a way to say thank you to both MTR Auto Service and the Unilocal reviewers who recommended I give MTR Auto Service a try.

Trustworthy people ever since I found Marvin I don’t take my car to anyone else… good services is hard to find good Mecanic around town.

So when we got the huge snow storm in January I was fooling around in my 2004 4Runner, of course I got stuck in the snow. I forced the truck so much on 4×4 low and it got stuck in that gear, my speedometer looked like a Christmas tree so I freaked out. A friend commended this shop so I gave them a call, Marvin picked up and told me to bring the car in. He was very courteous and was able to get it out of 4×4 low and didn’t charge me a dime!!! Now my truck is driving just fine with now issues. Thank you Marvin!

I’m a person that’s doesn’t do well with appointments… I have set up various appointments and haven’t been able to keep them… but I called in this morning and Marvin made room for me… I told him I was in a very bad situation and my car needed attention asap, also that I needed it the same day. If possible… Very attentive, and great with communicating details about what was going on with the vehicle while at his shop. Drove away today with my car feeling smoother, and just in time to finish late Christmas shopping.
I Would recommend this place to anybody that asks for a quality job on there vehicle for the right price.

Truly fast and amazing service from these guys, there was instant results on my car just with in a couple of hours. I highly recommend you check them out, will not leave you disappointed!

I’m very anal with my car repairs and never really trust any mechanic or shop. But I can honestly say I felt very comfortable leaving my G37 in the hands of Marvin to get some coilovers installed. Did a great job to meet all my needs at a good price. He’s done good work on my girlfriends car and my G. I will keep coming back for my mods and repair needs

Was referred literally last minute before I was taking my Nissan Altima to another body shop to get fixed… at the end of the day, there service, follow through, customer service was absolutely phenomenal. The car looks great thanks to their professional work, and even went above and beyond fixing something that would not have been noticeable to me, but might cause issues in the future… thank you Marvin for the awesome experience you gave to myself and wife… I highly recommend this place any of the day week and will definitely be coming back for future work on our cars…

I was referred to this place by a friend, when I was having some problems with my Honda Civic. I was hesitant to go because Lorton is a bit of a drive from Falls Church, but I was told that I would not regret it. I was not disappointed. The team here is awesome! They don’t try to hassle you into fixing things here and there that aren’t necessary. They’re honest and straight to the point. They told me what I needed to fix now and what could wait for later. Definitely coming back here whenever I have car issues!

Just had to create a Unilocal account for this!!! Awesome experience. Great Management staff and workers! I always took my car to dealerships or gas station in Falls Church where I used to live. Just moved to near the Woodbridge Lorton area I just heard this place just opened up with great reviews I had to see for myself. Let me tell you if I still lived in Falls Church I would still make the drive out here. Awesome experience and thank you for being very honest which is hard to find out there.

A great and simple first time visit. Had a rattling under the car, they figured it out. No hassles, tricks, or long winded explanations. Very straight to the point. In and out, very honest. Will be going there for an oil change soon.

I’ve never trusted any auto ships with my vehicle because they never seem to be trustworthy or friendly so I’ve always paid the outrageous prices at the dealers. when I heard about this new place I went to see how the people work… both the owner and the manager of this ship are always there they’re friendly the workers work hard and get your car done very quickly and at a great price. if you’re looking for a place where you can get a good price plus get a great job done this is the place to come!

It’s so rare to find an auto repair center that really cares about their clients. Professional and priced very well. Staff is polite and stayed in constant contact with me throughout the entire repair process. I received photos every step of the way and there were no hidden costs or surprises. Trust me don’t go anywhere else but MTR AUTO. They rock !!
