Dr. Jitsumyo and her team were FANTASTIC! I was very nervous about getting a root canal as I have had TMJ problems and was very nervous about having to keep my mouth open for over an hour. When I went in for my consultation, they explained EVERYTHING to me about the proceedure, told me about how long it would take, and even ran my insurance and gave me my an estimated out of pocket price. I have gone to doctors in the past and was shocked when I received a bill afterwards. So I really like that there were no suprises when I went in for the actual proceedure. They recommended that I show up in comfy clothes and to bring music or something to listen to to pass the time. For the proceedure, I brought my headphones and a book on tape(they estimated 2 hours) and they even give you a blanket if you get cold. When Dr. Jitsumyo gave me the shots to numb me up, I seriously didnt even feel the shot! I was expecting the normal«pinch» you feel when getting a shot but there was none — she is GOOD! She explained every step and gave me lots of breaks. And the little barrier they put in your mouth makes everything okay — you dont have to hold you mouth open that much. I was actually super comfy and even though it took 2 hours, the time went by fast. When I was done, they explained the aftercare to me and let me know that I will be sore once the numbness wears off but that it would only last a day or so(which it did — I was fine about 2 days later) It was one of the best dentist/doctors appointments I have ever had. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a root canal. Dr. Jitsumyo and staff are all so nice and polite and kind. I truly appreciate the kindness and respect all the staff members showed.

This is my first Unilocal review and I felt I needed to write one due to the amazing treatment I received at this office. I am an absolute freak about dental work. I have horrible anxiety and cannot stand to be in a dental office. Dr. Jitsumyo and her staff are amazing… they were so patient with me– gentle and kind. They walked me through my entire root canal procedure. I went back 3 times and bolted out of the chair twice. Again, so patient and kind. Dr. Jitsumyo has an extremely calm manner about her and even after all my hysterics remained a true professional. I highly recommend this office!

Had to get an emergency root canal for my husband on a late sunday evening. On all the meds prescribed for pain nothing could subside it. So. We called their office at 5pm Sunday, the answering service relayed the message to the endodontist on call for their office and Dr. J’s assitant called us back in 5 min. They drove in for us, stayed till it was DONE. and my husband is VERY nervous about going to any dentist. Dr. J and her assistant were so amazing. My husbnad had the BEST experience there from start to finish. The office is clean The staff so nice and caring especially her assistant. The procedure could not have been more«comfortable» per my husband which is HUGE coming from him. He gets nervous just getting his teeth cleaned. Dr. J was so gentle, caring, nice and REALLY good at what she does. When it comes to tooth pain you don’t mess around. This practice is TOP notch and we’d drive any distance if we had to do it all over again. Thank goodness they are only 15 minutes away from our home. A must to tuck away in your contacts if you ever need to have a root canal.

One of the best places to get your root canal done. And I’ve had 4 done though its nothin to boast about. The place is easy to find, easy parking, friendly, clean, and the procedure is very fast. It took me about 30 – 40 minutes in and out, and there were no weird reactions after. Here are some highlights of my experience. 1. When they stick that needle in your gums for 20 seconds(though it seems like FOREVER) to numb you, the nurse holds your hand! 2. Dr. Jitsumyo is a sweet lady who will walk you through every step of the process so you are in control. 3. They use these plastic reservoir things to keep the infected tooth is isolated, so you don’t have to keep your mouth open wide the whole time. Will I be back? Hopefully not. but if I do get another root canal procedure done, you can bet your lucky stars that it’ll be done here.
