Amazing: Mr Jason Is so great and patient with my son. I have also watch him with the little boy a head of us with special needs and he does so good with him also. I would highly recommend this place to everyone

Our son is on the spectrum for autism and was displaying fear of being in water. This was a great concern. I knew that if I didn’t get him comfortable in the water it would only get worse as he got older. My goal is to make him a fish! For safety and therapy. Aquatic Explorations has a clean and kid friendly environment! Mr. Jason is so good with our son and has taught him to go underwater to get rings! Caleb loves his swim classes and request to go to them regularly! So, thank you Mr. Jason for providing an awesome environment, for being so patient with our son, and for helping Caleb love being in the water! AND Caleb was offered a scholarship for one year! Incredible. .. Love it!

We previously had lessons at another facility without much success. A friend mentioned Aquatic Explorations to me a few months ago and we decided to switch and give it a try. My 6 year old son had his first swimming lesson with Ms. Lola. I was so impressed with how much learned so quickly. He left that lesson so excited about swimming again and loved getting to show his cousins and friends today at a pool party what he’s learned in swim class. During the lessons, he can earn gold coins that they can trade in for a small prize or save up for larger prizes. Great motivation! All of the instructors are kind, patient, and encouraging while still providing structure during the lesson. Great balance. The ladies in the office are nice, prompt, and helpful with scheduling or any questions I’ve had. I’m so glad our friends recommended this place to us. We are excited to watch B.‘s progress!

Jasmin is a phenomenal instructor. In just 15 min she was able to build my daughters confidence which without realizing it made me tear up a bit lol. I was so proud of my little one. Now, as a mom I do a good job of teaching her a lot of things, but this I have to be honest I needed their help and I’m not scared to admit it. FYI: my kid can swim already, but there is so much more to swimming that some don’t realize. It’s a life skill and a beatiful art and I want my daughter to embrace it, plus she might need to be a lifeguard one day to pay for college, lol. And, u never know when ur kid could save someones life, she’s 5, but she already learned CPR. We can’t wait to go back every week one day a week. I noticed another instructor who was hispanic and he was exceptional. It looked like he was an olypic trainer for kids. This place is deff worth the price and drive. My kids love going to their weekly swim class, love their teacher Meghan and love their treasures they earn. Although they have only been going for a few months my daughter was swimming to the deep end last weekend. I couldn’t believe how quickly she is able to swim and what a relief it is to know they are safe if they ever find themselves in an unsafe water situation. The front desk gals are great and friendly as well. Love everything about this place!

I enrolled my son for private swim lessons and miss Claudia is amazing, patient and wonderful with my toddler who wouldn’t stop screaming for the entire 15 mins he was with her in the water. My kid, would not let go off her neck while he was screaming in her ears and yet she was kind, sweet and kept her cool.
You have an great staff and a stellar level of professionalism.

My 3 year old just had his first swimming lesson here with Mr. Jason and I have to say… I loved it and so did my son! Mr. Jason even took extra time after the session to speak to us about things we can do at home to help our son get the most out of his classes. Very clean facility and all the staff was so friendly. I would totally recommend this facility to everyone!

We have been extremely happy with our swim lessons at Aquatic Explorations. Our twin boys have worked with 3 different coaches, all of whom have been extremely knowledgeable. Mr Jason especially has been fantastic with our son who has Autism. He is firm and focused, clear in his direction, and doesn’t get let our son’s disability define the lesson. He gives great feedback. It is an incredibly productive 15 min. Not to mention, the location is great, the pool is warm and our boys LOVE to go! I highly recommend.

Great place. The facility is clean, and beautiful. I was hesitant at first because of the price, but after trying it out, it was well worth it.
There’s a big difference of his swimming skills from when he first started. Ms. Margaux is a great instructor, very patient and gentle. Every instructor who has dealt with my son was always friendly.
Highly recommended!

$ 20 for a private lesson? Seems reasonable to me. Ms. Lola is a great instructor, and my 2yo son listens to her — actually I’m pretty sure he has a crush on her because he talks about her non-​stop at home. They spend the whole time in the pool, start promptly, and do a variety of different activities. After 5 lessons, my son can now float on his back for 10+ seconds. I don’t have anything to compare the classes to, but I’m pleased so far.
The $ 2 credit card fee seems unreasonable.

My husband and I signed our son up for swim lessons at Aquatic Explorations when he turned 3years old last May. I searched all over the Internet for swim schools and am very pleased with my choice.
Ms. Lola is his instructor and she is Amazing! She is very kind and understanding not just with our son, but from what we see with her fellow students. When our son first started he did not know how to swim, but loved the water. It is incredible to see his progress and all that Ms. Lola has taught him! We are extremely grateful for her. I love the fact that they are not only teaching the kids to swim, but they teach them all the proper techniques as well as discipline. All the kids are rewarded by choosing from the treasure chest at the end of each lesson depending on how well they listen which I think is a awesome way to keep them on track and continue with their progress.
My son looks forward to coming to swimming lessons every week therefore that has to give us a good sign about this swim school and highly recommend it!

My son started here when he was about six months olds. My wife and I wanted to get him used to the water. The class is 45 min and Start off with a song, then we do back floats, leg extensions, work on kickers, and then works on dips.
One thing I really like is that you are working with your son or daughter so you get to determine things like how much or how far underwater your little one goes when doing dips. I have heard of stories where on the first day other instructors are doing full on dips with babies that have never been in the pool. I really like the instructors that we have the are both super friendly and goof with the kids, and friendly and engaging with the parents.
The pool is an indoor pool however the back door which is like a garage door is always open, this is really on a bad thing when it is supper cool outside or with the occasional wind that comes thru. I would say the pool is an average backyard size and about 4 ½ feet deep the water is always warm.
My biggest and only complaint is the office. I have called and left a messages for the instructor letting them know that my son would not be coming and the office would call back and try to enroll my son in the class. It is no big deal it just frustrating.

My daughter is 5 and sometimes ok with the water and sometimes very reluctant. Ms. Lola has been very patient and always gently encourages her to try to do a little more than she thinks she can. Lola is very reassuring and a great teacher for a reluctant child. Would definitely recommend her!
They have a great make-​up policy, and as long as you call before 9am on the day of your child’s lesson, they are very accommodating at rescheduling.

I absolutely love this place for my kids to take swim lessons. Very clean, the pool is always perfect temp. My son, who is three, loves his teacher miss Elana. They teach your kids the proper way to swim. The lessons are 15 mins which is a perfect amount of time before you lose the little ones attention!!! Some people think it is pricy but I feel teaching your kids proper water safety is priceless… Good job guys!!!

Mr. Jason has patience of steel… he is always calm and gentle. He has worked through one of my daughters being totally fearful of swimming and getting her swimming like a fish and love being cannon balled across the pool!
Mr. Jason also has worked with my daughter with cerebral palsy… he has handled her special needs with patience and determination. He patiently works with her with a smile… its not just swim class its like therapy session in the water for her little body.
Ms. Dominique is awesome too. She is so personable and gentle but also has this ability to progress kids to their next level.
Both of my girls love their swim teachers, the warm water, the coins they earn when they do well and the fun kites above the pool. Great school.

We have a small child, and after hearing all the horror stories of kids falling into pools and almost drowning, I was anxious to get our little fella some lessons.
After reading positive reviews for both Aquatic Explorations and Water Safe, I decided to do the free trial swim lesson with AE. Our son enjoyed it and the teachers all seemed good with the kiddos. AE is also a tad less expensive and closer to us, so we decided to start our son here with 1-​on-​1 lessons.
We started this past July and I’m impressed with his instructor, Miss. Cat along with the other teachers observed.
Lessons aren’t cheap as the ones we signed up for are just our son with one instructor. It is $ 22 per 15 min lesson. I know, at first I was like «what?! $ 22 for only 15 mins?!?» But 15 mins is perfect for young ones who can’t focus for longer periods of time. And IMO, I’d rather pay more to get him quickly trained and able to save himself should he accidentally fall into a pool with no one near to rescue him.
The facility isn’t what I was used to for swim lessons. The location is actually inside an industrial complex with the pool built into the second floor of their unit. But it’s heated all year round, and a decent size for teaching the young ones. They also have large colorful kites hanging above that helped my son look up when he was floating on his back. There’s also a single shower that you can wash off in after your lesson which I really appreciate– saves me time at home and keeps a chlorine soaked kid out of the car!
After each lesson the teacher will tell the child how many gold coins s/​he earned depending on how well they did that day. The kiddos can then get one prize from the treasure chest, or choose to save them up to earn a bigger prize– great way to motivate my kid.
I’d recommend AE to other parents of small children. Great place to get them on their way to becoming competent swimmers!

Had been going to Aquatic Explorations for several years. At first I was skeptical as the lessons seemed like they would be too short. However, after a few lessons we quickly learned that it was actually a very good duration.
Before going here, our daughter was afraid of the water, now she can’t get enough of it.
Overall we were very happy with our experience here. Facilities are nice, administrative staff is usually very responsive and the instructors are good. Some are obviously better than others, just find one that matches the personality of your child.
Also like the rewards system. Daughter was always very excited about collecting and redeeming her gold coins.

This place is truly a gem and we are so lucky to have found it. After trying out a few other swim schools, we found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try.
Before we started with AE, our five year old twins did not know how to swim AT ALL. One of them was even afraid to put his face in the water. In one session, he was putting his face under water and my other son was backfloating. In one month, they were both swimming faces underwater, backfloating and were able to recover after being thrown into the water, making it to the wall or the steps safely without assistance! We nearly cried watching them.
We started off with 30 min sessions each, once per week and quickly increased those to four times per week after seeing the progress they were making. The classes are one-​on-​one which is awesome because we don’t have to get in. All the teachers are great! We have had Ms. Dominique who is the master teacher (a bit more expensive but totally worth it), Ms. Melissa, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Lola and Ms. Elena. All have their own styles but teach the same drills so there is consistency. My boys love them all and most importantly, we trust them all!
The office manager (Kelly) and office staff (Kristi) are so patient and accommodating. With their help, we were able to find classes to meet our ever-​changing schedules which is tough given that we want 30 min for each kid on the same day, several days a week. They deserve a medal for figuring it all out. They are also really great about make-​ups, both in noting when you can’t make it and also in helping you find a time to make-​up missed sessions. Prices are very reasonable especially given the quality of the lessons and the fact that they really do teach your kids to swim!
All in all, the best swim school ever! We plan to continue here until the boys are old enough to join the swim team =) Thank you AE! You guys rock!

I enrolled my 5yr old son for swim classes, with the recommendation from a classmate’s mom. My son’s instructor is Ms. Lola and she is absolutely wonderful with him. He really enjoys the classes, even though it’s only 15min. We pay $ 20/​class and I think it’s worth every penny, especially because it’s one on one. We decided to pre-​pay for 3 months in advance, to earn a free class.
The only improvement I would suggest is the way they run their office. It’s still very old school, on your honor. I wish they had a better tracking system as far as payment recording. Also, there’s not really anyone working the front desk, so it was a little tricky knowing what to do, where to go on our first day. Other than that, I love bringing my son here and can’t wait to enroll my daughter in the future.
