While the Dr Tabibian and his staff are competent and mostly pleasant, their billing company is the most unprofessional horror show I’ve dealt with in a long time. They have no idea what they do with the payments sent via the website. Apparently they do not get posted properly and their mistakes could end up with YOU in collections where their «agent» will hound you daily even though they know theres a problem with the account.
Truly the most UNPROFESSIONAL group you would ever want to deal with!
For that reason alone if I ever need to see a dermatologist again it will NOT be Advanced Dermatology.

I had warts and skin tags which I thought very minor. Dr, Tabibian made a big deal by doing a biopsy and tissue exam to jack up the bill. He did not inform me about the biopsy in advance until I saw the final bill. Also, I noticed and asked, Why not doing something for 2 other warts on my heads. He gave no clear answer and said I can come back.
May for a second biopsy ???

Today, I had my first visit to this doctor’s office. The parking structure was a breeze — I easily found a spot. The office was clean, the front desk well run, and the staff very professional. PA Quint Skipton literally looked me over from head to toe and addressed all my skin issues. I highly recommend this office. As a matter of fact, my husband has an appointment for next week. :)

Dr. Tabibian and Kyle went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of, and got the treatment and medications that I needed. Dr. Tabibian was quick, but thorough, and made sure that all of my concerns were addressed. Kyle, who I believe is the onsite pharmacist, was in constant communication with me about my medications, and made sure that I was able to get everything I needed. I highly recommend this office.

Nice, clean office. Staff at the desk was very polite & got my new patient info quickly. Wait time wasn’t bad at all– including the wait time once in the room. Dr Quint even popped in to let me know he would only be a moment longer. He was VERY friendly & to the point. & I really appreciated him not giving the «wtf» look when I explained I had been playing at home doc, haha. He truly listened to everything I had to say & didn’t just blow it off.
It was recommend that I return in 3 weeks & booking that appointment was a breeze in office.
Day after appt– everything Dr Quint cautioned me about is true thus far & I am glad he fully went over what to expect (wart removal)
I cannot forget to add– there was a younger guy that took me back to the room & got me situated– uh, LOVE him, too! Very welcoming & made my first visit feel like my 100^th. Thank you!
Found my go to Dermatologist!

Dr. Quint Skipton helped me solve my incredibly stubborn adult acne in time for my wedding. He was so efficient, direct, and effective — I owe all of my beautiful wedding photos to him! More importantly, the results have stuck around now that I’m on the right regimen. If you want a similar problem eradicated, don’t bother going anywhere else. If you can invest 60 – 90 days into getting on the right track, you’ll be thrilled with the results, I promise.

Dr Quint is an AMAZING Dermatologist! He is funny, caring and makes you feel like family. More than the great diagnosis and treatment, his demeanor and character is so awesome I wish I had more problems with my skin! A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G!!!

After many MANY years of being really neglectful to my skin, now in my early 40’s I’m paying for it. After trying every over the counter brand, high end brand, home remedy, etc I was literally in tears. Thank God I found Dr. Tabibian.
First, his office is very nice. Super clean and with a lovely décor. He shares a practice with another doctor and both their staff are excellent. They are friendly, kind and very professional.
As for my visit with Dr. T, it was so refreshing to hear that there was in fact something amiss with my skin, and it wasn’t just to be left to the aging process. After one week my skin looks 75% better already.
I’m going back in three weeks to check on progress and begin the next step into completely revitilizing my skin. (my condition is contact dermititis and melasma).
I wish I would have saved the thousands of dollars I have spent trying to find products to help me without medical intervention. I wish I would have come to Dr. Tibibian before.
(the only reason I didn’t give him 5 stars is because there was a bit of a wait. I wasn’t seen until 45 minutes after my appointment time. But oh so worth the wait)

I cannot believe how wonderful Quint Skipton was with both me and my son. I saw him first on a Thursday and he and the office staff were amazing and more than helpful. I went home raving about him and when my husband brought in my son the following week he walked out feeling the same way about Quint Skipton and the office staff. I don’t ever want to go anywhere else!

After a horrible experience with another dermatologist I gave this place a shot. They were able to make an appointment the next day. The office is great and the staff were all friendly and professional.
Quint Skipton, one of tabibian’s associates, saw me very quickly with little wait time and was very personable. He quickly diagnosed my issue and I was on my way.
I also liked that they bill the ppo insurance and send me the bill later like it should be. Overall a quick and painless experience and highly recommended. Ask for Quint.

Somewhat satisfactory care, but doctors are always in a hurry yet run late. I even had a doctor come in, look at what I came in for, then leave to tend to other patients. I will not be back

First time visitor and now I plan on sticking with this practice for all my skin care needs and concerns. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Tabibian’s practice and staff.
Heres the run down on my experience…
For me being a towhead with my family originating from England, naturally I’m concerned with my sun exposure, moles etc… playing soccer and surfing has given me a fair number of sunburns growing up. (That’s why they call us english, «lobsters» ha).
I called to make an appointment 6÷25÷14 and bam! I was able to get in to see the doctor on 6÷30÷14, how sweet is that! Most offices give you some BS scheduling 4 weeks out… that doesn’t do well for anyones mind having to waiting around.
My appointment was with PA-​C. Quint Skipton, since Dr. Tabibian was out of the office on vacation. I was told by the staff that he is qualified and I would be in great hands. I arrived 20 minutes early to fill out the required paperwork for a new patient which was easy peasy, typical info regarding your health an family history.
The staff was very friendly and timely when I had questions. I did not feel rushed like most practices out there. I ask a lot of questions… so if your like then you’ll appreciate how this office handles that.
The office was clean and modern and there was a flat screen TV in the waiting room, which was nice for waiting. What made it really sweet was the fact the World Cup was on and I was able to watch the game while I waited. How rad is that!
I was seen on time for my appointment, didn’t wait a minute longer that I needed to, Amy who is a doctor assistant showed me to the room and talked to me about what kind of appointment I have and what I would like the doctor to check out. She was sweet, friendly and chatted to me a bit about what to expect. I was told I was in great hands with PA-​C. Quint Skipton. I was not let down one bit, PA-​C. Quint Skipton addressed all of my concerns and proceeded to freeze off the questionable moles /​skin bumps I was worried about. Me being the inquisitive type, I questioned him on some of the procedures and he put my mind at ease at the things that concerned me. I tend to worry about things. but PA-​C. Quint Skipton took extra time to talk to me in detail about my concerns I had about moles and skin cancer.
Honestly… this guy is cool and is level with you about anything bothering you.
I feel like one of the major things for me to look for in a doctor /​specialist is how they treat you as a person and how they address your concerns and worries in their bedside manner. PA-​C. Quint Skipton did that and more, he said any other questions I may have I can give him a call any time and he would talk to me about them.
Everyone has different healthcare needs and people expect to be handled in certain ways. I wasn’t mocked or ignored when I explained why I ask so many questions and that made me feel comfortable. Talk about patient care and concern… going above and beyond is what he did.
Bam! I’m sold. this is a solid practice in my opinion.
I hope anyone reading this review ends up visiting this practice and receives the same level of care as I did.

If you want a no nonsense approach to dermatology care look up Quint Skipton PA. I was a patient of Skipton when he was at Advanced Skincare in Fullerton, and was very disappointed when he left. I was fortunate to find that he had made a move to Los Alamitos. I called the office and was greeted very professionally, and was scheduled in quickly. Came into the office for my appointment, and was pleased to find PA Skipton working with the same approach as before. You don’t feel like you’re being rushed and he takes the time to explain what he’s doing and put you at ease.
It is a pleasure to go to a Doctor’s visit and feel a personal touch and care that seems to be disappearing in a world of HMO’s and managed healthcare.

Great experience and great results. My appointment was with PA Quint Skipton. He is knowledgeable with a great «bed side» manner. I have experience with many dermatologists and thankful I made the drive.

This was my first visit as I was looking for a new dermatologist. I was taken care of promptly — not much wait at any part of the appointment. Dr. checked me for signs of skin cancer and at various moles/​skin tags. He gently removed a couple of them and was very professional. I liked that no one tried to sell any other products to me. In fact, when I inquired about a SPF 50 or higher facial protection he gave me a big sample and a mfg. coupon for a free second supply. I found him very thorough and attentive and have now found my new dermatologist!

Sad to see others gave anything less than 5 stars. My husband had a phenomenal experience!
He went to another dermatologist in the same building and had a horrible experience.
I happened to see Advanced Dermatology in the building and called the next day. The young woman I spoke to was very pleasant and even got me an appointment for the next day.
My husband saw Dr. Quint Skipton. He was so awesome, he treated my husband like a friend and was very informative. Dr. Quint treated the moles my husband had and asked him to return in a year — it was so simple. Eager to make an appointment for myself!

Love the friendly staff at Dr. Tabibian’s practice. I have been under the care of Dr. Skipton for about 6 months and I am very pleased with his work and quality of care. I highly recommend him to friends and family as he goes above and beyond in the quality of care and time he dedicates to his patients. Furthermore, he is so personable that makes an office visit a much more pleasant experience.

I liked Dr. Tabibian, he was pleasant, professional, and took time to assess my skin.
I have a skin cancer on my nose and he explained what treatment he would use to help this. I haven’t gone further yet but I will complete this review once I have had it.
One negative though, his nurse who took me back to the exam was so unfriendly that I thought she was angry at me. Just so bored and unpleasant.

I couldn’t stand this guy. Yes, you actually get to see the doctor, but he’s an arrogant asshole.
I have really severe psoriasis, and he took one look at me and prescribed me a medication I’ve already tried several times in the past with unsuccessful results. I explained this to him, and even mentioned a few other ointments and creams that worked way better on my skin, but he insisted his first suggestion was the way to go.
He also prescribed me this scalp ointment called Dermasmooth that basically covers your whole head. I’ve used it in the past, and it works well, but it’s not a very practical everyday solution, as you need to cover your head with a shower cap and leave it on for several hours before washing it off. Dr. Tabibian instructed me to go through this procedure not once, but twice a day, and when I told him that I didn’t think that was feasible due to the fact that I sometimes have to run errands and leave the house, he got all pissy and acted like I didn’t value his medical opinion… which quite frankly, now, I don’t.
This guy is ridiculous. I think the other lady who reviewed him must have been lucky. I say don’t waste your time.
