It is so hard to find a good nail salon these days and after going here I will continue my search. I’ve been there a couple times. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.
Positive aspects– The girls were nice and the place is clean so I can’t take all the stars away
Why I’m not going back–
Their product is cheep– the tips wouldn’t stay on my fingers and when she went to cut them down they would crumble and we would have to start over. The first visit was 3 hours for a full set.
The most recent trip this week has left my fingers cut up. I told her she was hurting me and she giggled. Still today I have red knicks around my cuticles.
So there you go. Enter at your own risk. I hope your experience is better than mine.

This place was awful. I really am not picky, though I want my nails to be even. I specifically asked the lady doing my feet that I thought my big toes were not even and she said they were fine. But to be honest, I don’t think she understood me. Sure enough, when she started putting the nail polish on, it was clear my left toe was shorter and crooked. I asked her to fix it and instead she put more nail polish on it. Again, I don’t know if it was a language barrier.
Both my nail and feet ladies had poor techniques. The nail polish was old. The minute they were done, they were putting my shoes on and hustling me out the door. I asked if they were sure if my nails were dry and they assured me they were.
I live in LA, so it took me over an hour to drive home. I had the air blasting both on my feet and my hands to make sure they would dry. This is what I noticed when I turned on the lights to my condo.
My nails and toes look like shit. What a waste of money as I’m filing my toes and completely redoing my own nails. I might as well have thrown money away. I would have felt better feeding a homeless person than wasting money here.

I had a manicure and pedicure. Both ladies proceeded to take off my skin with the emery boards as they were removing my gel nail polish. Both ladies drew blood from both my fingers and toes. The only reason I’m writing this review is to warn customers. It has been almost 2 weeks and left toe looks infected from the cuts. Please beware!

I’m soo disappointed, upset with the service here. I had come for a fill for my french manicure tips, and two replacements. The price was okay, but, the woman who did my nails did not adhere to my wishes. I wanted my replacement nails a particular length, but, she insisted she knew what she was doing, in that my nails would look good. She didn’t! I’m not at all happy with my replacement nails, as they are both short. Any time I have requested a particular length with other nail salons, they have complied. She thinks she’s so right, and, yet, she was soo wrong. My money wasted!

Disappointed! What happened to the customer service here? Last year it was great…
So, I was a walk in yesterday and they were able to accommodate me right away which was a plus! 5 stars.
I was asked to pick a color and then sat down at the spa massage chair. (Kinda worn out).
I was offered a drink (great service) and asked to choose which package I wanted…
Going from just a pedicure I decided to go ahead and get a manicure too for less than $ 10 more.
As the pedicure started, no conversations were made by the older lady, which is fine because I like to relax after a long day at work.
But I noticed the color polish I picked was drying out, but instead of informing me, I witness the lady going over to the station and adding clear polish or whatever it was to fill the bottle! Does that work?
I decided not to say Anything.
Then she was completed with the pedicure and was about to put things away when her associate tells her «she’s getting a manicure too»
Really? Didn’t you pay attention when you asked me? How does the lady across the room know and you forgot?
Okay, so instead of picking another color, I stuck to same one and asked for a design on the ring fingers. I showed her a picture from my phone. Very simple.
Again, as she’s going, she goes and now looks thru the new colors and sees if any matches but without luck, she just adds more of the liquid to fill the bottle. (Wow)
Then all is done. I had to ask her to clean up some smeared nail polish color on my fingers.
I’m asked to move to the drying table.
Which then after 10 minutes that lady tells her associate on Vietnamese, «please collect her money, her nails are dry, she doesn’t know and keeps sitting there».
How am I supposed to know when you don’t tell me anything?
Poor service. Worst is i understand Vietnamese well, and it wasn’t my first time here!
This used to be my go to nail place.

They rushed me in and out. They had poor quality of technique. Old polish. I was desperate to get my nails done. But I should have left.
I told them not to cut cuticles but they did anyway and hurt me. They should be embarrassed!

I got my nails done by a new place and they were awful– acrylics were REALLY «thick» & some were even crooked. Luckily a friend tipped me off about Kim. She is the absolute best! She gives unbiased opinion to indecisive customers like myself on colors & does some serious damage control on nails if needed. I also got my eyebrows cleaned up by another sweet lady and they came out equally amazing. Will definitely return. Thanks Kim!

Went here on 10÷26÷14 for a pedicure, and my friend got a mani/​pedi. Don’t like the place at all. I can’t believe all the positive reviews…
I found the place to be unclean. Not dirty, just not clean. There were about 4 flies flying throughout the business (the door was NOT open). The stylist didn’t understand English well. I finally gave up trying to tell her what I liked. The pedi was not good… their were pieces of cuticle still attached to the side of my toes. The polishing was bad, too. She put too much polish on, and the finished product looked shi***. Will for sure never return to this place!

I came here for a fill thinking I would save a little time instead of driving to my regular salon. Big mistake. The woman said a 10 minute wait, well 25 minutes later she sits me down. She rushed through it and did a very sloppy job. She got white polish on my finger, got the acrylic stuff on the side of my finger, didn’t cut my nails even, and also the white tips are not even. I won’t be going back here again.

Love this place. I will try other places just to compare but always end up here. Joni does my gel nails and it always looks amazing even after 3 weeks and Lisa does my pedi, which she takes her time to cut my cuticles and that’s so important to me. And to top it off, they offer free drinks.

I came here on a whim and I am so glad that I did. I went in early morning during the week and was greeted immediately and had two ladies working on my hands and feet. I decided to shellac my nails and I look back on it and I wish I didn’t because it just didn’t last long enough for me. Other places would get it to last close to 2 weeks and this place was almost exactly one week. That is the only reason why I am taking a star away. Other than that…

The pedicure now belongs in my top 3 of all time and the manicure was also great. I was there for a while and their attention to detail was superb.
My pedicure is still looking amazing… like I got it yesterday and it’s been almost 2 weeks.
Will go here again.

I signed up on their website for the 40% coupon and thought that will be my motivation to try this nail place.
The services received did not stand up to the what I paid for even after the discount. I requested the Deluxe Mani/​Pedi combo and it was done at the same time. The 2 ladies working on me spoke in Vietnamese the whole time they were working on me… how do I know? I understand it!
The icing on the cake was when the lady was putting on the top coat you can’t tell me that she didn’t realize that it was so thick and gloppy that there were strings of too thick clear polish stretching from the bottle to my nails when she was applying it. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it’ll dry and look great… WRONG…it dried after what seemed like forever… with bubbles in it. 6 out of 10 nails on my hand had them. When my hubby says, «what’s wrong with your nails, didn’t you just get them done?» you know they look bad.
Not a fan and not going back. Period.

Found this nail salon while i was researching CND Shellac manicures and had to give it a try. If you haven’t tried shellac, you’re missing out. Its a gel/​nail polish hybrid… basically you get the incredible stay power of a gel mani but don’t have to deal with the thick unnatural look that is often associated with it. Basically the application is very much like regular nail polish with the added step of UV light curing in between coats if that makes any sense.
anyway I digress. I took advantage of the new customer 40% off coupon so I ended up getting the normally $ 60 goddess spa mani/​pedi package for only $ 36. And then I paid $ 15 extra for the shellac mani. Loan did my shellac mani and it the results were great, hard as diamonds! Couldn’t be happier.
Friendly and great customer service, allbeit a bit pricey for what I’m use to. But hey you get what you pay for. Next time I’m getting the regular mani/​pedi for $ 25 plus the $ 15 for the shellac since I will no longer be eligible for the 40% off coupon. But in any case thats still a steal for a once a month indulgence right? Other salons are charging anywhere $ 40 and upward for just the shellac mani and often times its not even CND Shellac (beware!), but a knockoff brand.

I was looking for place that did Shellac nails. I called and they said that they would take me the same day. That was a HUGE difference from what I had experienced previously.
The salon is clean and all the women were very nice.
The great thing is that if you sign up on their site you receive a 40% discount. So, with this special gift I got the TOTAL works and really enjoyed myself.
My nails are gorgeous and I’ve received a lot of compliments. Some think they are fake nails and they are mine.
I highly recommend this place.

I tried this place because I was intrested in the CND Shellac manicure. I called to make an appointment, they were able to take me that same day. They also emailed me a 40% off coupon since I was a new customer.
I found the salon in a nice shopping center in Los Alamitos near the Costco in Cypress and the Los Alamitos race track. Parking was easy and I went in and was greeted and directed to pick a polish color. The salon was nicely decorated and well maintained. Had spa chairs for pedicures.
Julie, the lady that helped me that day was very nice, although not particularly chatty, which isn’t a bad thing at all, just an observation. The pedicure was just kind of meh, not bad, but not particularly good. It was basically a soak, her tickling my feet with a scrubber thing, lotion, and a polish change. I had the option to pay extra for callous removal or extra massage, but passed since I was only really here for the Shellac manicure.
We did my pedicure first, and while my toes were drying, Julie just did my manicure right where I sat, in the spa chair. Initially I thought this was cool since I didn’t have to fumble with my sandals with wet nails, but after 2 hours, I was really tired of sitting in that chair.
Next came the Shellac, which was cool, similar to gel nails but with a polish, rather than a thick gel. Same UV curing though. Limited colors, but supposed to last 14 days, which is about what I got out of a gel set anyway. I’m a week into the manicure, and so far so good… no chips, splits, smudges or breaks. If my regular salon would start carrying the Shellac manicure, I’d go there instead.
The cons: The manicure tools were not sterile. The manicurists sprayed them with rubbing alcohol, but it’s not autoclaved clean.
Price was right, $ 10 for a manicure, extra $ 15 if you want Shellac, $ 16 for basic pedicure. With my coupon, I was out of there for less than $ 30 including tip.

I was hesitant about coming here due to the review but after noticing that the review was old and did some research on my own, it turns out that it was under a new management. The new owner, Vivian, offered 40% discount to any services and a $ 5 gift certificate to new customers by signing up on their website. I quickly jumped on the chance. Besides, who doesn’t like coupons?
The place was clean and the staff was friendly. Most of all, they provided me with a list of «Extra Services» which I personally thought was great so I knew exactly what I will be paying for and there would be no surprises when it comes to pay. To all female Unilocalers out there, have you ever ended up paying more than what you thought? I have.
The regular Manicure & Spa Pedicure was $ 25 but since I’ve long neglected my hands and feet, I opted to get the Deluxe Manicure & Pedicure ($ 40) with 2 extra services ($ 10). The treatment was like finding an oasis in the desert — relaxing and the staff was gentle with me. They used 2 types of scrubs (a foot scrub and an exfoliating sugar scrub), a cooling gel for my feet, and hot oil with paraffin on my hands. They also used a warm, menthol-​scented lotion when massaging my hands and feet. To top it all of it only cost me $ 30 (not including tip) because of my coupon. I was satisfied and I’m sure my hands and feet were as well.
But why only 4 stars you ask? I noticed that the other customers were regulars and I would gladly give them a higher rating except: (1) they would only let me use one of my coupons but didN’T state on the coupons that it cannot be combined with other promotions, and (2) I would have to go out of my way to see them.
