Last month I had a flower emergency. I realized I had forgotten to order a corsage for my mom for her 85^th birthday. They made up a beautiful corsage in under 10 minutes for me!!! I received great service and am very thankful!

Darrell created a beautiful arrangement of flowers for my husbands Celebration of Life on July 25^th, which was delivered on time and display properly.

I have not used Standing Ovation but I called today to ask if they would be willing to do a couple of arrangements for a fundraiser for a local family in our community.
I couldn’t even get my story out before the owner said we don’t do donations. I was taken by surprise by how short he was. I then said can I explain the story first and he said «we don’t do donations».
I understand many business owners can not do donations and they must get request all the time. It’s understandable that a business can’t or does not do donations. The way I spoken to without a chance to even tell my story and how rude I was spoken to is unacceptable.
A little girl in our community who is 8 years old suffered a cardiac episode and was placed on a ECMO machine for over a week. 2 surgeries later, an amazing team at CHOC, and through prayers this little miracle survived. We are doing a fundraiser in our little community to help out the family so I
We were reaching out to local businesses.
I live in this community and always try and support local businesses but I will never use this florist.

WOW, I have been ordering flowers from Darrell for many years! Always so beautiful! But I always just ordered one arrangement at a time. Then my father passed away & we ordered flowers for the funeral home & many relatives asked how they could send flowers? So we gave them Standing Ovation Flower Gallery information. Now that the funeral has past & we brought some arrangements home, we see the Standing Ovation difference! Darrell’s flowers still look like they were just delivered! Others have dropped so many flowers we had to throw them away! Thank you so much Darrell & Penny for everything & all the deliveries we sent you on!

My husband and I lost a dear friend last week and I went into Standing Ovation to select an arrangement of living plants to be delivered to his wife. Knowing that Standing Ovation has had an outstanding reputation for years, I only had to briefly describe what we wanted to send and the rest was left to Darrell and his creativity. Our friend’s wife sent us a text and a picture of what she received and then called to tell us how beautiful the arrangement was and that the delivery person, Penny, had exceeded our expectations as well and added a very personal touch of empathy and compassion in a very delicate circumstance. We have used this florist in the past and have never been disappointed, they always go above and beyond. Nothing done half-​way. Thank you Darrell and staff.

If you really don’t care whether or not your flowers are delivered, then this is the florist for you. Even though I received an email that confirmed delivery, when I called the recipients, they said, no, we never got anything. $ 80 worth of flowers gone missing? Then I called Standing Ovation and was told they most certainly did deliver and had left with a neighbor. But, as I found out after several phones calls, that delivery was several days before I ordered — it was another customer’s order. So no flowers for my brother and his wife on their 50^th wedding anniversary. And absolutely no apology from SO. What kind of business takes your money, then tells you they delivered the product as expected and it’s not true? They even refunded my money without taking the trouble to call and apologize. So, yeah, if you just don’t really care, this is the florist for you.

Darrell worked with my mom and I to make the flowers for my wedding perfect! He respected our budget (it was a small wedding) as was very patient, paying attention to every details. The bridal bouquet, center pieces, cake topper, and flowers for the ceremony were all beautiful. They were exactly as I had pictured and were super fresh.
A couple weeks after the wedding I ordered an arrangement for church, and it turned out amazing as well. Great service and great flowers!

I stopped by here to buy some flowers for my daughters birthday party that was that day. The lady behind the counter was helping someone but didn’t even acknowledge me or call anyone from the back to help me. I proceeded to look at the lose flowers they had in their refrigerated section up front but there wasn’t much in there. Another lady came from the back and saw me, she was very nice and welcoming. I asked if they had any red or blue flowers, my daughters birthday party theme was Dr Seuss and I needed those specific colors. She said no. I asked if they had more flowers in the back because they didn’t have much in the refrigerated section. Well, she must have been offended by my comment because she said, «we have lots of flowers but just not the ones you are looking for» in a very snarky tone. Um, hello? Were we looking at the same flowers? In any case, I said thank you and left.
I ended up buying flowers at the grocery store. All I wanted was a dozen red carnations and any kind of blue flower, it didn’t matter. That doesn’t sound like a difficult order, especially if you are a flower shop. I tried to go there since I live in the community and try to shop at the small local businesses but I was not impressed. I will not be returning there in the future.

Darrell is warm, helpful and knowledgeable. Personality and a warm hear is just what you want from a Florist. He helped me develop a perfect piece for a special someone and did so within budget. 5 Stars!

we order flowers all the time from here and when we had an unexpected funeral we couldnt pick something except over the phone and when we got to the funeral home they had arrived and they were perfect Thank you!

I always go here to order flowers and the owner is really nice. She always knows what I want and always helps me to make up my mind. I am one of her biggest customers, however, I have not been back there for 2 years because I live now in Santa Cruz. But the service is good and the prices are good too. I always buy my flowers when I had time for dates =) But anyways they are good and highly recommend.

At my consultation for my wedding, he was so knowledgeable and had lots of pictures of past weddings he had done, as well as live flowers to view right there in his shop!
My bouquets were flawless, lasted a long time and were everything I wanted. We went with Freedom Roses with a vibrant red color with accents of white roses as well.
My centerpieces were not only a sight to see, but they filled the room with frangrant elegance.
I was not there to witness it, but my wedding coordinator told me later that Darrell and his crew were in, set up and out in about 45 minutes! Everything was flawless!
