My husband and I just moved while being pregnant so while being out of insurance for one month we are looking for a doctor that could do some
Blood work and an ultrasound. This office said no because it would be too much work for them!!! Are you kidding me? I cant check the well being on my 20 week old gestation baby because its too much work??? Obviously these people are working for the wrong reasons! I don’t recommend this place to anyone who cares about the well being of they child because they don’t!!! Horrible, just horrible!

My wife will probably write her own review but I wanted to give a guy’s take on OBGYN. More than anything I think you need to find an OBGYN that can keep you calm and relaxed. A little bit of humor certainly helps. This is what I liked about Dr. Agnelli, who is one of the two doctors at this center.
Dr. Agnelli has a sarcastic sense of humor (but nothing offensive or rude) and is very laid back. I thought she was smoking weed because it seemed like nothing could phase her. But this was a nice change of pace because my wife’s previous two doctors seemed to blow everything out of proportion. My wife was so displeased with the other two doctors, she switched to Dr. Agnelli during the last month of her pregnancy. It’s kind of risky doing it so late in the pregnancy but was worth it. I certainly didn’t want the other OBGYN to deliver our first baby.
Actual delivery is done at Los Alamitos Medical Center which is right across the street. There’s no need to contact Dr. Agnelli directly if you go into labor. She actually asks you not to do this. You just need to check in with a nurse at Los Alamitos Medical Center and the nurse will contact the doctor.
My wife had to be induced and was in labor for over 13 hours. She probably pushed for about hour and a half but it seemed like eternity. She was so exhausted from pushing, I didn’t think she was going to make it. Dr. Agnelli came in toward the very last phase. I think she usually doesn’t come in to deliver the baby until the baby’s head is at least +1 (I don’t remember all the specifics). Everything happened very quickly when she came in. I’m not sure if it’s because my wife had already done most of the pushing or if it was Dr. Agnelli’s encouraging voice, but she made it seem so much easier to get the final push for the baby to come out.
The office manager here is also helpful. Her name is Cindy and she handles all the paperwork, stuff like forms that need to be filled out for work, EDD, insurance, etc. She is crucial because if you take leave of absence from work, she is the one that has to fill out some of the information and send it to the appropriate party. My wife’s previous medical office charged for stuff like this and took forever to get it done. Cindy is prompt and doesn’t charge.
Try to find street parking if you can as it costs anywhere from $ 2 to $ 12 (based on how long you stay) to park at the facility parking lot. Most of the street parking has a two hour time limit. Just pay attention to street cleaning days (think it’s Wednesdays from 11 am — 2 pm). If you end up parking in the paid lot, make sure you bring exact change or credit card. There’s no parking attendant. You have to pay on a machine that only accepts credit cards and dollar bills (no coins), and it doesn’t give change. I only had two $ 5 dollar bills when I first went and ended up overpaying by $ 6. If you find yourself in my situation, just call (714) 542‑1464 for Diamond Parking Service and they will send you a form for a refund. Just make sure you save the original parking receipt.
