Allied Auto Works is a automotive a full service and repair facility. We service all makes and models including European, Hybrids, and trucks. We specialize in BMW’s, M-​Benz, Lexus and all Asian imports. All of our repair work is performed by ASE technicians with ongoing technical training and is backed by 24,000 mile or 24 month warranty. Services and repairs we provide include: brakes, engine/​transmission, A/​C and heating, and all major and minor services.

Family owned and operated by Brian & Amanda Aberg, Allied Auto Works of Los Altos has over 29 years of experience in the automotive industry. We provide great personal service and high-​quality workmanship at a fair price. We have two convenient auto repair shops to serve you in Los Altos, 2073 Grant Road (near Woodland Acres-​The Highlands) and 1540 Miramonte Avenue (Old Historic Loyola Corners). Everyone at this business is simply great. We just had our Honda Odyssey B2 service done there. They did a very professional job and throughly checked the automobile for any potential issues. While the Honda was being serviced I spoke with Matt and asked if he could take a look at my BMW 528i head light, the driver side low beam was not working. He obliged and quickly replaced the halogen lamp. He only charged me for the lamp. The dealer would have charged ~$ 100 for the replacement! Not charging labor for the lamp replacement is not the only reason for my 5 star review. These guys are professional and do high quality work. Allied is now the auto shop of choice for all our automobiles. I trust the Allied team and recommend them without any hesitation.

It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust, and at Allied you can definitely trust them. We take all our cars to Allied for all our oil changes and repairs. They are friendly and professional and get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. I can’t recommend them enough if you are looking for a trustworthy and experienced auto shop (which who isn’t?)!

Unilocaled for a nearby garage and took my car to this one to get a headlight replaced for my 2005 Toyota Corolla, and was helped by Matt. They charged only $ 12.41 for the bulb, w/​no labor fee, and I saved more money than if I went to my old garage, which is actually much further away from my home. I will be coming back to them the next time I have a problem that I can’t or don’t want to fix myself! I can’t believe I never went to these guys before.

HOLY COW! First let me say, I have Matt and his team do all of my car repairs, oil changes, mileage maintenance etc. because they are just that great at what they do!
So, for my latest story… I pull in on a Friday at 2:22PM…Matt can hear me coming as my car has decided to SQUEAL as loud as it possibly can all the way from downtown Los Altos. I swear people rolled up their windows when I was near them. As we joke about «they heard my car coming» they are already putting a plan together for diagnostics etc. This amazing team gets it figured out, ORDERS a part (almost at the daily order cut off) and tells me they will get to work on it. I walk home, do a few things for my job and at 4:15PMI get a call that the car is ready. I walk back up to the shop and my car is ready and Matt has me rolling again at 4:25PM. This is beyond amazing customer service! They are incredible and I can not recommend them enough!

The Allied staff replaced both drive axles on my Acura TSX. After first confirming the axles really were the problem, Matt explained the replacement options to me, and helped me pick the repair option that would provide the best longevity and warranty for the least cost. They were ready to start the job when it was scheduled, and I had the car back when it was promised. The bill contained no surprises. I’ll be back.

When my timing chain slipped a tooth I asked around for a trustworthy repair shop. Allied Auto kept coming up so I headed over and chatted with the guys. I felt comfortable so I had them repair my truck and it continues to run like new.

I have been using Allied Auto works for 15 plus years. I use the early bird drop off leaving the vehicle for repair the night before repair is scheduled. It is very convient.
They have always been honest, and if any problems arise after any repair or service they have quickly taken care of the issue.
With their customer focused service I plan to continue using their company to work on my cars.

Took my BMW Z4 in for a service and to repair rodent damage. These guys were awesome. Not only were they skilled in repairing the ever present local rodent damage but they also kept me very well informed. At every stage of the work they told me the schedule and kept to it.
Lastly they were very reasonable on price. Will certainly never take my out of warranty BMW to the dealer for service again.

We just moved to the area and needed a repair on our Honda Pilot. Went here after checking Unilocal.I’m so glad I did! Very friendly, honest service. They were very thorough in checking the car out and gave me a written report. There is an expensive part that will need to be replaced eventually (dash circuit board), but they found a work around for now. I appreciate their honesty and the amount they charged me for their time and work was very reasonable. I also appreciated the ride to and from the shop! Overall, a great experience, we will definitely be coming to them for future repairs and maintenance.

We have trusted our ’98 Mercedes ML320 and ’01 Lexus RX300 to Allied Auto for many years. Matt, and Craig before him, have always been on top of things, excellent work, complete explanations of the problems found and corrections made, as well as pointers on what to look for as these vehicles ‘mature’. We recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone in the community.

Love these guys! I work right down the street, and went here with my old car (’05 Honda Accord) when it had a broken headlight… they fixed the headlight quickly and for only the cost of a new bulb, then swapped it for me a few months later when it shorted again.
Now I’m driving an ’02 BMW 325i, and once again, Allied has saved me time and money! The cigarette lighter/​adapter was broken, and another shop wanted to charge $ 85 + parts to fix it… took it to Allied instead, where they fixed it at NO cost when they found an extra fuse in the car. Can’t beat that kind of service, so I will be taking my Bimmer to them in the future. Matter of fact, I will be making an appointment soon for a diagnostic & tune-​up.
