Bloom Skincare Facials & Waxing

So impressed with this place!
I’ve been here 2 times for chemical peels.
Before getting the chemical peel done I had a consultation because I was kinda scared about getting it done. But I’m so glad I did. Kalley was honest and very informative for what the chemical peel would do to help out my deep acne scars.
My first chemical peel was the Sensei peel, I believe, and i did really did notice a difference. After the second one, wow! My skin looks so much smoother, and less textured. I just booked my appointment for my third chemical peel and I can’t wait to see the results.

I’ve been seeing Julie for waxing and facials for over 5 years now and can confidently say that she is the best! The salon is cozy, calming and beautiful. Brow and bikini waxes are quick and relatively painless and I love that they always have mineral water and fresh fruit set out for their clients. Since the salon has become more popular, I sometimes see other aestheticians and everyone has been great. Such a gem!

Not sure what to think. Julie said she was going to manage a store in Los Gatos, but I don’t see a Bloom in Los Gatos, so…

I received a facial from Kally (not sure if I spelled that correctly) last month, and it was fantastic! My skin is pretty sensitive, and I have mild rosacea. The facial was really calming and enjoyable, and even the extraction part was not bad. Extractions usually make me nervous because my skin tends to get really angry, but Kally squeezed out a lot of gunk that needed to go! Later that week, I received compliments about how great my skin looked. Needless to say, I booked my next appointment on my way out!

I have had facial from Julie for a year, and I was more than happy to work with her!
I have very sensitive and complex skin that I struggled with occasional breakouts and rash on my face.
Julie customized her facial treatment based on my skin condition and I always felt relaxed after the treatment. I had a such a great experience with her.
Now Julie stops her practice to focus as a business owner, but she recommends her other specialists with her honest opinion.
I’ll continue to try her other specialists.

Hands down the most freakin’ amazing facial done by Jinah.
She’s sweet, down to earth and great to talk to. Now, to the actual facial… left me speechless. I’ve gone to Jinah before, then tried a facial in SF (it sucked) then back to go back to Jinah (as a pre-​wedding pamper gift from a friend).
She has amazing face massage techniques, gentle, and she tells you exactly what she’s going to do next. You get to choose your essence oil fragrance to start and she uses high quality products on your face.
It’s a wash, moisturize, extractions, arms/​hand/​scalp/​face massage, peel off mask and more! Afterwards, my face was straight glowing and I felt so relaxed– like mushhhh.
It was just amazing. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for a facial!

I can’t say enough good things about the facial I had today at Bloom Skincare! A friend recommended this salon — specifically esthetician Kristin Rogers, and I am so glad I listened. I left feeling like a new woman. Kristin took her time to ask me about my skin routine and concerns, and customized an amazing facial for my needs. It was so relaxing, and I could see and feel a difference in my skin right away. Kristin was so sweet and easy to talk to. The salon’s atmosphere immediately relaxed me, and it was super clean (a big plus in my book). I will definitely be returning for a facial with her on a regular basis. This is a hidden oasis that is not to be missed! One tip — Kristin’s schedule was pretty booked when I called to make my appointment, so don’t wait until the last minute!

It’s a OK facial. Nice environment, working staff, but I’ve been to better places. My usual facial lady is busy so I have to make an appointment somewhere else. I stressed to the lady that I want her to work only on my clogged pores, because that is what I want to be taken care off the most. She did not work much with them. there were 2 big ones I want her to remove, she told me that she did. I came home and there was pus on the area, which means that it was not removed, and I have to remove them myself (yes, I had to push the stuff out lol) So apparently I spent $ 120 for mostly nothing. Not that much of massage. So overall, I got a little massage on my face with some oil, a mask and nearly no extraction. I was gonna make this place my permanent facial but I guess I will come back to my facial lady, she removes all my pimples, clogged pores and I always feel great after seeing her. With this place, well, It’s an experience, but I don’t think I’m going to come back.

Great ambiance and energy. I got a facial and it was pretty good. but not as thorough as I would have liked, to be honest. I am relatively experienced with facials, admittedly high-​maintenance about my skin. I cannot call the actual facial part 5 stars, compared to extra deep cleansing/​extracting I have experienced elsewhere. Massage was mediocre too, needs more pressure, way too light and limp, and did not feel good (just my constructive feedback and I hope it improves). But the people here are very kind, and I appreciate the attention to detail in providing a serene atmosphere. I do like the vibe. Overall great service-​in the long run this is a redeeming and competitive factor. I would be interested in trying their microdermabrasion sometime.

I and my husband were both visiting Bloom Skincare for about year and a half now.
I enjoy every moment I spend with Kelly, who is my facial specialist. She is always highly attentive to every little detail about my skin, she helped my skin to become radiant and I completely forgot about any problems I had before.
Kelly as well as everyone else in the SPA are always on time that allowed me to plan my facials as well as the rest of my day.
I also like the way the owner of the SPA always goes above and beyond in improving the technology here. During my time with Bloom Skincare there were about 5 new facials including my favorite Microdermabrasion Facial.

Bloom Skincare is the perfect little treat that is tucked in the heart of downtown Los Altos. One could say it’s a hidden gem. As a resolution to take better care of myself this year, I decided it is finally time to give my face some TLC it much deserve.
Just a short bio on my skin condition:
* I am combination skin type. Oily in my T-​zone and have dry patches sometimes around my eye area and jaw line.
* Clogged pores/​blackhead. I have tried to do everything I can when it comes to containing the amount of black head i have around my nose area and no mask, exfoliating wash, cleaning tools have worked.
My go-​to Esthetician is Jinah (pronouced GEE– NAH) Dinh (née Kim– She just got married last year!). I have followed her since Herbal Mineral 5 years ago and she is so well rounded in her knowledge on facials, waxing, lash perming, and skin care régime. She examined my complexion prior to any treatment and have provided me with a lot of good suggestion on how to give my skin the best of care.
I received the Eminence Organic Facial (60 mins) and can I say my skin is kissing me from the inside.
This facial includes a wash, mask, extraction, and essentially just pumps your skin with nutrition. There is also a really cool pineapple mask like treatment that gives your skin a «spicy» feel (the reason is bringing more blood into your face) and the end result is a freshly clean and refreshed face.
All the product they use smells so good and the aromatherapy they include actually cleared my sinuses!
I just booked my next appointment for next month as recommended by Jinah to come in for the Deep Pore Cleansing Facial (what can I say. I have pore issues).
Treat and take care of yourself ladies and ask for Jinah!

Just got a facial with Kristin. It was my first time at Bloom. I’ve tried a good number of 4.5−5 star spas/​facials before trying Bloom and Kristin’s facial is the best. I will be making Bloom my regular spot. In fact, I’ve already booked my next 2 appointments. :)

This place is the best! Tania & Julie are totally FAB! You must visit them for all your beauty needs!

I had an appt with Kristen and it went really well. I called the morning of and they were very accomodating and were able to squeeze me into their busy schedule for a same day appointment.
Kristen explained everything she was going to do before she did it which i found helpful so i knew what to expect… especially when it came to the extraction, eek!
I came in with some mild acne problems and thanks to Kristen’s skin care regimen recommendations my skin has definitely cleared up (still get some here and there but definitely an improvement from what it was).
I look forward to the next time i treat myself to another facial :)

Wow. I have never before felt more relaxed than after my appointment at Bloom today.
On my second visit to Bloom, I was lucky enough to have Susan do my waxing and facial. The best part by far was the head massage during the facial! It really helped me to relax. Felt like I took a Xanax lol.
I will definitely visit again soon.

I’ve been going to Kristin for almost 2 years for waxing services. She is basically terrific! She is the best, extremely professional and SO fun to talk to while being waxed! Her waxing technics are great.
I never feel rushed through my appointments. The spa is very clean and nice. It’s very convenient for me since it’s very close to my house. Tania, the lady at the front desk is also kind and helpful. Highly recommend this place!

I love Bloom Skincare, and it’s easy to see why other customers do too. It’s everything I want in a salon where I get my wax done. Wicked fast but painless process. Pleasant conversation. Totally accommodating hours.
If you’re ever in need of a Brazilian wax, Kristin is great! She also does facials, which I will someday work up the money to splurge on.

Julie is an amazing aesthetician. I met her at Destino Spa and followed her when she went off on her own. She is absolutely wonderful and an amazing person. She is impeccable when it comes to her professionalism and keeping a tidy yet warm and comforting environment. She also reads her clients well; she always seems to know when I want to chit-​chat and when I really just need some relaxing quiet time.
Why I go:
I have problematic adult acne and hyperpigmentation. Julie makes accurate assessments of what my skin needs and treats and nourishes it perfectly.
Site benefits:
It’s not like Los Altos is at all noisy, but even the teeniest bits of street noise can grate on you if you’re going in for a relaxing facial. Bloom is nestled in a little arcade off of State Street, so you don’t hear anything but soothing music.
Side benefits:
The prices are fair, especially when you get such fantastic personalized attention. Also, I really dislike it when aestheticians make you feel guilty for having the skin problems that arise or try to get you to buy tons of their products. Julie has never made me want to cry (like someone I once saw at a Palo Alto day spa that rhymes with La Hell) and she has only ever suggested products when I’ve inquired about something specific. Julie also always has fresh fruit and a refreshing tea waiting for you. Yum!

Bloom is a lovely place, and Julie is wonderful. She’s efficient and thorough, she’s good people.
I wouldn’t go anyplace else.

I love Bloom — I am now a regular and always make my appointments with Paige. She is a darling! I get the custom facial and just entrust myself to Paige for the hour — she does a great job cleaning up my skin and answers all of my questions after the session. She is super patient and willing to talk with you, give recommendations, but is never pushy about selling Bloom’s products.
The prices are fair and the service is superb — what is not to love?!
