This shop is not a Jewelry Store, but a craftsman’s workshop. Brad is a second generation jeweler, and he makes and repairs with big skill and knowledge, and zero pretensiousness! He will be honest about your options, and will never try to up-​sell you. He will do great job and likely under-​charge you!

My center stone started knocking around in the setting, and I didn’t feel like losing the single most expensive and sentimental thing I own.
I discovered Brad through Unilocal,and even coming in with my lofty expectations, he managed to exceed them.
I showed up without an appointment and he tightened the setting and polished my engagement ring without it ever leaving my sight. I also asked him to replace a watch battery, which he also quickly did on the spot. Everything took under 10 minutes and charged me next to nothing.
This is a charming and endearing one-​man operation that I would be remiss NOT to support! Brad is amazing at his craft and passionate about his work. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

While cleaning out a lot of stuff I came across a lapel pin that my mother had bought for me.
Unfortunately the stud that the clasp was not attached very well and came off while I was wearing it.
The good news was I did not lose the stud or the lapel pin when it broke.
The lapel pin had a lot of sentimental value to me and my vain attempts to repair it with Gorilla Glue only made matters worse and demonstrated that I needed someone with a lot more experience and talent than I have to affect more permanent repairs.
I saw the excellent reviews on Unilocal and since I was in no hurry decided to use the House of Treasures. I was there on a week day and the line of patrons went out the door! I was impressed!
Brad keeps everything in envelopes and files it under your last name with your phone number. I had not received a call so I decided after a month to drop by and see if it was done.
This is a cash only business to be prepared to ante up.
To my surprise it was completed to my satisfaction!
I was very happy with Brad’s workmanship!

I love Brad. I have been going to him for more than 10 years and after I moved from Los Altos to New York and then LA, I continue to save my broken jewelry and ask him to create new pieces when I am in town.
I take everything to him from knotted up necklaces to very special items that have strong sentimental memories and value. As a longtime Los Altos community member, his craftsmanship, value and reliability are greatly appreciated. Sad to say there are so few businesses still around that helped make Los Altos what it was before the boom of new comers when it was a peaceful quiet town closed on Sundays. I will continue to support him and hope that he continues for a long time to come, carrying on in his family’s business.

Brad is my hero! He was able to resize my engagement ring and get it sparkling with little notice. So kind, very good at what he does and he even dropped some fantastic marriage advice! Thank you Brad.

My wife brought in a ring to be resized to a larger size to House of Treasures. After several weeks of waiting we were told that the ring was ready (only after we called them several times). When my wife picked the ring up — she was told that the jeweler was unable to resize the ring and that no work had been done — however the ring now didn’t fit at all. We then took it to another local jeweler and found out that the ring had in fact been resized and was a half size smaller.

This company is great — fast and very reasonable prices. I plan to use them for years to come!

I used to work for another jewelry store in downtown Los Altos. I’ve known Brad for several years — as we have always referred customers to each other. That’s the kind of relationship most jewelers should have with one another…
One day, the daughter of a good customer came to me, frantic, as a treasured silver ring, had just ripped at the bottom of the shank and she was leaving in 2 days for 6 months out of the country semester. The store I worked for at the time, did not have the convenience of an «in house» jeweler. However, I knew that I could confidently take the ring to Brad and he could help me, in my predicament.
As I walked in, there was of course, a small wait… I just enjoy all of his pictures, newspaper articles, knick-​knacks, etc, that are perfectly situated around his tiny, but very humble store. Within just a few moments, it was my turn, I explained my dilemma, and he fixed my customers ring in less than five minutes, and polished it like new!
I called the customer to come pick up her ring. She was beyond elated and so thrilled it was done quickly (and AT NO EXPENSE from Brad), or to her. The young woman said that she was so appreciative — knowing that her ring was not an expensive item, but it was very sentimental — which, in my opinion, is PRICELESS.
Even though I work in the jewelry business, I will keep referring people to Brad. He too, is PRICELESS to me. Two thumbs up, Brad!!! You are a TREASURE in Los Altos!

Just recommended Brad in real life, so figured I’d leave a review here, too! I totally dig this place. Brought a bunch of my treasures to him at once that had been sitting for months, hopeless, in a pile. He resized a ring, put a new clasp on my favorite bracelet, replace a watch battery. My treasures were like new! And the best part was, he provided old school customer service. Or, what I would think it was like back in the day. He took the time to treat me like a human being. You know, have a conversation. Get to know me. I mean, have you ever heard of such a thing these days? Now when I walk by the place I wave and say hello because a lot of the time he’s got the door open! It’s the best. Highly recommend this place. A true pleasure as a customer.

I used to go to the watch repair inside Sears on San Antonio Road, and now that it’s gone I wasn’t sure where to go when I needed a new watch battery. Thanks to Unilocal,I found House of Treasures practically in my backyard! Brad replaced the battery and tightened the clasp on my Skaagen watch for just a few dollars. He also told me he could repair some broken necklaces I have that need to be restrung. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend House of Treasures in the meantime.

No need to repeat at length what everyone else has already said, so I’ll just climb on the bandwagon and agree that Brad is terrific! I STRONGLY recommend this business.

I recently discovered this wonderful jewelry repair shop. I had some earrings that I wanted to update or say change to look.
Brad did exactly what I asked for, very pristine and quality!!! I have more ideas and work on some other pieces and that’s exactly where I’m taking it all to fix! I’m very happy that this is the place in my neighborhood, highly recommend to everyone!!!

Brad IS the treasure at House of Treasures. He is honest, thorough and I trust him implicitly… have done so for close to 30 years. No on else compares. He always has time to be friendly and ask about our family. I remember his father before him too. A long tradition of excellence… and that’s not just a saying. It’s true.

I went here after reading all the reviews on this place. Brad had a line out the door yet was calm and friendly as he worked away. I brought in three watches to be fixed (dead batteries) and one watch whose ceramic strap came off. In addition, I brought various longer necklaces that broke on drawers and Brad was able to fix them right away. He even adjusted a pearl bauble necklace that didn’t hang the right way by removing some links thereby making the pricey Stella and Dot necklace wearable again! He is really honest, hardworking, and very reasonable. A hidden gem in my book!

Brad is great! I have trusted him with my jewelry for quite some time, and have only received the highest quality of service possible.

I am floored by the way that Brad runs his business — he is simply amazing. The center diamond on my platinum engagement ring was loose — I called another jeweler in Palo Alto for estimate and was quoted $ 150 for tightening the setting and was told I would have to make an a 1hour appointment if I wanted to wait and have it done that day.
I called House of Treasures and Brad said simply, «Oh, that’s easy, I can fix that in a few minutes — just bring it in.» An acquaintance said that House of Treasures would make easy fixes for a really reasonable fee and the Unilocal reviews were so good, I thought — well, it can’t be more than $ 150 — and brought it in.
He fixed the settings, polished the ring and said — that was an easy fix — NO CHARGE, get it next time. I was the one who insisted on leaving a few dollars in his «college fund» jar which he had on the counter for his daughters (their pictures are framed on the wall). Obviously, he is someone who is extremely honest and cares about the relationship he has with his customers — he is not out to make a quick buck off of someone who doesn’t know anything about jewelry repair (like me). He is the ONLY person I will ever take any jewelry repair business to.
And don’t let the tiny little shop fool you — I was there for less than 10 minutes, and it was a revolving door of little old ladies there with their precious baubles needing a fix! Obviously these women know a gem when they find it.

I’ve had work done three times by the owner at House of Treasures and am floored by his honest, direct, and friendly way of working with people.
First, I went to have the shank replaced on my engagement ring. He told me that the price of platinum meant the work could easily cost upwards of $ 900 and suggested I instead have a ring guard put on for $ 5, which I did.
Next, I had a stone replaced in an heirloom ring. He worked with me on finding a good stone in my price range and discussed various options with me. I am very happy with it.
Finally, I had a clasp repaired. Once again, he suggested various options and did a great job for a good price.
I know I can trust him to do a good job, treat me respectfully, and to offer reasonable prices.
