Jack in the Box

Generous and helpful staff. Clean bathroom and tables. Speedy service and good cheap food. I’ve stopped here a few times now when visiting the area and each time has been a good experience. One of the better fast food establishments I’ve been to.

They are NOT OPEN 24hrs! Drove by at 3:20am after a busy night in San Francisco. All the signs say open late and late service and it was not open.

For fast food in the Bay Area this one is nice because it is Clean, has a large dining room, descent accessible bathrooms and great parking.
Nice staff, very polite and helpful.

This is a good Jack. They got my order correct (even with a special request), they were fast, and they were friendly. How can you go wrong with that. Plus they are just down the street from the hotel we are staying at.

It is almost 0500 am (aka breakfast time) and they won’t serve me breakfast… bullshit!

This is the Jack in the Box I usually stop at on the way to work for breakfast. Bring back the hash brown sticks!!! I don’t like the one big piece like McDonald’s does. My breakfast rotation usually consists of the breakfast croissant, steak and egg burrito, and the grilled breakfast sandwich.
Jack in the Box coffee is also the best coffee out of all the fast food chains that I’ve tried.
Good location because there is streetlight there to get back onto El Camino; I haaaate trying to get back onto super busy streets when there’s no light!

I have gone to this Jack in the Box on occasion and always received excellent customer service … except last week …
The girl that took my order was courteous and cheerful. When I drove around to pay the girl at the window was preoccupied with what appeared to be a leaky carton of orange juice. She grudgingly took my money and did not acknowledge me when I said thank you. She looked/​acted like she was angry that I was even there. I did not like giving her my money.
I ordered a bacon/​egg biscuit. It was awful. I could barely choke it down. Besides the lack of any taste what so ever it was slopped together on the biscuit. It did not hold a candle to Mc Donald’s bacon/​egg biscuit. I will not be ordering it again.

This is a particularly good Jack in the Box. Jacks Spicy chicken is crispy and fresh, the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh.

I am not a great big fan of Jack in the Box I only like it when its late at night coming back from a party or something and it’s a quick fast food to grab. I ordered a jumbo Jack with french fries and a soda and I asked the lady at the window to give me an extra ranch and she seems as if she was getting frustrated. when I finally opened my hamburger to eat it was as if the the sauce in the tomatoes and onions or just slapped right on there it was very messy and my french fries seemed as if they were soaked in oil. but I guess that’s kind of the type of food you would get going to a quick fast food joint.

This is the best JITB on El Camino from Palo Alto to Sunnyvale. No shit. The older workers seems to be more contentious about order accuracy and they always give you enough napkins, especially if you order something messy like the mystery meat tacos or the bigger multipatty burgers. I really like the fact that I can order «real food» (as in not breakfast food) in the morning. I had a temporary relocation to Ann Arbor, MI and there are no JITBs there! Is there no justice in this world? (Cue looking at sky shaking clenched fist) I usually go for 2 to 4 tacos, a value chicken sandwich or two, and hot coffee for «The Breakfast of Champions!» Large ice tea for other meals… Get your lazy asses out of that pile of rolling junk and get your food. Don’t get «fucked using the drive-​thru» as the great Joe Pesci says… If I don’t want to fill-​up on bread, I pull the chicken patty and lettuce from one sandwich and put it in the other for a double! Woohoo! :-) Enjoy!

Oh, Jack. You’re so bad for me. I know it. You know it. Yet I’m not a big fan of breakfast foods, and you’ll give me lunch foods at 8am if that’s what I really want. And you know, McDonalds is all touchy about that. Stupid McGriddles. I have no interest in you.
Meal deal is two deep fried tacos, a Jumbo Jack, a Diet Coke (ironic), and free cinnamon churros for using the kiosk to order. For under $ 5.00.
If I’m gonna end up fat, I might as well end up fat and happy. At 8am. And I was. Though now I hate myself. Just a little. Okay, better hit the gym tonight. Dammit.

Slower than molasses and they still tend to get the order wrong.
