Responsible Tree Service

I was pretty disappointed overall with their service. Tom and his guys came out to remove a tree and grind the stump and the roots. Unfortunately, they left some huge parts of the stump ungrinded and roots untouched. At the time, I was unable to tell how thorough a job they actually did because the ground was covered with wood chips. However, Tom assured me that they did a thorough job. So I had no choice but to take his word for it. But now that the rains have cleaned up the area, I can clearly see how poorly the job was done. Also, Tom and his guys damaged my son’s play house, completely broke a planter box, and busted one our of our sprinklers. While they fixed or replaced these things, it did irritate me at how careless they were in the first place. I put in a call to Tom today requesting that he come out here and finish grinding the stump and roots. Right now I give him 3 stars. However, if he does not return my call or refuses to correct the problem, I will change this review to a one star.
Update on 4÷13÷2010:
Tom never returned any of my four phone calls. I think his name should be changed to IRRESPONSIBLE Tree Service.
