Just stopped by this place to do oil change on my Prius. Fair price, nice manager. And same time they checked my tires, brakes for free. Highly recommended to all drivers in this area.

BEWARE!!! I brought my car to jimmy and John for a regular tune up…
They called me and said that I need to have my engine rebuilt!!! Wow was I shocked! I asked what the problem was and they said «it’s going to die any second.»
I went and picked up my car and jimmy weaseled me into leaving a $ 2,700 deposit for parts. 3 months later, car was running fine!
9 months later, car is running strong!!!
I went back to get my deposit back and they are pretending like I am a monkey.
From the looks of things looks like they are in desperate need of money! A sheriff delivered a summons while I was there!!!
Almost a year later and 1 million phone calls, still no refund and car is running better than ever!

Been going here for tires for quite some time. The service and prices are as good as you can get.
Sometimes my alignment gets screwed up and I have one worn-​out tire and 3 good ones. I don’t want to replace all four, so I come here to get a single used or new tire to hold me over. Both times I’ve gotten used tires here they have been of better quality and price than the stuff the two or three tire shops down the road had available.
Head on over and give them a shot.

Couple months ago my beautiful bmw transmission died and I took my car to Jimmy’s shop and he fixed my car with the lowest prise and he gave me a good deal and he also give me good deal for all my 4 tires and I just can say he is not only a good guy he also try to make his customers happy like I was

Ok Jimmy and John, here is another review on your shoty work. You guys should stick to changing tires. The only reason this company was favored by a judge in our case is because I could not afford to have my engine dismantled and accessed by a true professional to prove you were at fault for the distruction of my engine. Now a year later (after my car sat undrivable) I have taken it to Coast Motors (professional rebuilders) to be accessed and repaired. It turns out that when you repaired my head gasket and put the wrong gasket in my engine along with changing my valves, you did not change or secure the valve seals, thus the engine sucked in a seal and destroyed 7 of my eight cylinders. You are costing me $ 6000 dollars in repairs to put my vehicle back on the road. You guys need to refine your skills. I trusted you and you lied to me on what your knowledge was as mechanics.
IF YOU VALUE THE LONGEVITY OF YOUR VEHICLE !!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEICHLE TO THESE HACKS !!! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE ARE DOING !!!
If you need a tire patched or changed, they can probably help you out with that.
These guys should be ashamed to call themselves mechanics, don’t let them train on your car.

I’ve come in here before a few months back when I needed 4 tires for my little Honda Civic. I searched all around the area and I found them the cheapest there! John actually was the one who helped me out both times. First experience was awesome.
Recently, my back left tire popped and I called 1^st Chance Auto to swap my tire for another used tire. They put it on and it was fine until the next morning, when I woke up to it flat. I called John about 3 days after that (because I had no time to replace the tire since I had work throughout those days) and he said that he would try to find me the same size. He had no more of the same size but he was VERY nice about it offered to fix it up for me for free or give me an exchange on another tire when he gets the size in, in the future… which is understandable, since they are USED tires.
The guys in the body shop finished it up in 20 minutes and got me to work right on time! No ridiculous wait! These guys are awesome, I’ll be back next time! :) Thanks!

1^st Chance listed a full set of used tires on CraigsList that I had been searching for. As soon as I arrived, I was promptly taken care of. No hidden charges or other fees. What they quoted is what the price was. No bait and switch tactics. Up front and honest with quality work. In and out in a matter of minutes with a good deal that put a smile on my face. Great people to deal with.

I needed some things done to my car and this place was amazing. They have a great customer service with a great friendly staff and caring people who are very good at what they do. They fixed my car just perfect with a reasonable price than anywhere else I’ve been. They have a great mechanic shop with a wonderful mechanic who knows what he is doing. I recommend this place to everyone because it has been the best place I’ve been to so far. I am so thankful to have 1^st chance auto repair.

Yes, in seeing the other cheer about jimmy & john… they get to meet you and make you feel comfortable about fixing your (any) car problems… Highly Recommended!

I love Jimmy! This place is awesome. I had my tires done here and a lift on my truck. I am extremely particular when it comes to my truck – and finding the perfect tires was very important to me. I wanted a certain look and I needed them for multiple terrains. What I wanted specifically was rather rare, but Jimmy worked with me for as long as it took until we found the perfect set. They look awesome. While my car was with Jimmy he also did a full assessment of the engine (told me where I had some troubles), fixed other aesthetic issues I’d been really wanting done for the longest time (didn’t even charge me for them), and gave me the vehicle back cleaned up and looking SHARP! What’s more: before I found Jimmy I called many other places in LA county … And Jimmy is also one of the most reasonable in price!

This place sucks, I came for two new front tires and alignment. The alignment was never done, and charged me $ 45.00. I was watching the tech at all times. Raised the car, looked around with a flash light, put it back down, and said it was done. I did not argue because I was in a rush, but never going back again.
