Frank at Aardvark is simply the best!!! I had Frank inspect a home that I had purchased, because he was recommended by my contractor. I had had another inspector prior to purchase and he did not find the problems that Frank found, like mold in the garage. Do NOT buy a home without Frank inspecting it first! Frank is awesome, period. we wanted to get asbestos testing done to the new house since it is an older home and who knows what’s been done to it over the last 65 years it’s been in existence. plus w/​a 21 month old and very pregnant wife, we wanted assurance that the place was safe and especially bc we were going to have some work done to the place. Frank was a little late for our appmt. but he more than made up for it w/​a heavy discount AND he threw in other services and to other parts of the house free of charge. now that’s how you do business! I recently had the unenviable task of taking care of a leak my neighbor caused to my rental unit. I found the field of mold and remediation to be checker boarded with people who will take advantage of you. The insurance companies will also try to take advantage of you in the process. When I called Frank, I immediately felt at ease. In dealing with him after a few minutes, I understood I had a winner. His expert knowledge, ability to communicate, and prompt service were impeccable.
He arrived on time with only two hours’ notice then took a sample of the area. He talked to me about the process for the analysis. He then explained about the report process and lead-​time on the results. I was in a rush and needed the sample the next day. I received the results and report in less than 24 hours. What really impressed me is he listened to my concerns and addressed them with common sense and his extensive knowledge. He did not try to take advantage of me but provided old-​fashioned customer service.
The report I received was professional, precise, and included detailed pictures and analysis of what I was dealing with. I will always be thankful for everything he did for me. Frank the owner is extremely honest i have used him to test two properties and frankly i would not buy a house with out using him to test Mold, Fungus and abestos. He is trustworthy, so honest gives solid rates and frankly exceeded my expectations in service!

I needed someone expert on the job and found Frank. Frank was very considerate and he came to the location even though it was pretty far from Los Angeles area.
I was very impressed with Frank’s work because he was experienced, knowledgable, professional, detail oriented, and very organized. He was also very easy to work with. Frank & AARDVARK performed a comprehensive water intrusion damage assessment, mold, asbestos, and lead surface coating identification survey and provided a full detailed report which was used in obtaining bids from contractors. After the remediation was completed Frank returned to the site and performed the final independent visual inspection, verification, mold, asbestos and lead confirmatory testing, analysis and issued the necessary written clearance and re-​occupancy certification.

I decided to write another review for Frank and Aardvark Property Hazard Analysis since I hired the company a second time to do a lead inspection of our property after the purchase of our new home.
Once again I was not disappointed. Frank came over as scheduled and wrote an extremely thorough report of his findings on the lead in and around my home. There was so much detail in the report that I was confident that he did a great job identifying all the lead that needed to be abated.

Frank is amazing! We had sewage backup and the company our insurance company sent over to clean up inadvertently exposed partially demoed asbestos!!! I called Aardvark based on the reviews I’d read on Unilocal and Frank came over right away, took care of emergency testing (on a weekend), and went above and beyond the call of duty to explain things to me and help calm my concerns about contamination. I consider Frank a homeowner’s advocate and he takes the time to educate the homeowner and answer any and all questions you have. I had to deal with several other asbestos testing companies, abatement crews, and contractors as a result of this whole experience, but Frank was the clear standout in the whole ordeal. I would highly recommend Aardvark.

Frank and his team were great. I called Frank on Friday morning and he was able to send is tech out Saturday morning. We had a summary of the results by Tuesday. They were very professional and very helpful with our questions. He spoke with both my husband and I about the results.

When my mother called last month to tell me that her acoustic tile ceiling started falling down, my first thought was asbestos. My second thought was to call Frank. Within 30 minutes, he had a technician at her home taking samples and emailed me a report the next day. The report was all good news, but that’s not why Aardvark gets 5 stars from me.

Aardvark did a great job of meeting our needs on our time frame! My husband and I are in escrow with a property that has popcorn ceilings. We were doing some research on taking down popcorn and a big red flag came up, Asbestos! We decided we needed to have the property tested ASAP so that if there is asbestos we could ask for a credit from the seller to remove it.
I called Aardvark on a Wednesday afternoon to schedule the appointment for Friday. Frank was able to be flexible with our schedule and gave us a great price too. When I realized we would need the report same day Frank was able to rearrange the schedule so that someone could come out to the property at 7:30am to take the samples and we would get the results that afternoon. Frank called me personally at 12:30pm to let me know our property was asbestos free! The report followed as promised later that afternoon.

OK, I considered grabbing some samples and sending them to a lab myself, but the results probably wouldn’t have satisfied my HOA. Not official enough. It usually doesn’t pay to do things like asbestos testing on the cheap.
Frank and his Tech were excellent. They set the date and time (within half an hour). The Tech that showed up actually called to see if he could come early. He was very professional and got all the samples in 15 minutes.
Frank called the next day with the results and emailed them within 24 hours as promised. Best of all: NO ASBESTOS! The popcorn ceiling can now come down as scheduled.
