We utilize our extensive experience and advanced technology like Infrared Thermal imaging camera to diagnose building envelope leaks and water damage causes. We are the leaders in mold remediation, waterproofing and weatherproofing repair, including window, roof, deck, stucco, and foundation leaks. We help you create permanent solutions to your issues and offer property inspections with full detailed reports. We offer 5 and 10 year warranties with a maintenance agreement and (QAQC) Quality Assurance and Quality Control inspections meaning we can do pre-​purchase inspections or inspect the quality of other contractors work.

Absolute Maintenance and Consulting was started by a young man with a vision of owning his own company and his mentor, his god father. The young man’s name is Bryan Clark, who grew up in the construction industry; asked his god father Cameron Figgins who has been a consultant for over 30 years working for high end property owners, if he could help him start his own business so he could better support his family. Cameron felt that is would be a wonderful collaboration and advantageous to support him to start his own business using his experience, expertise and skills he uses to solve issues everyday. Absolute Maintenance and Consulting has become very successful, servicing all Southern California the last several years and has won Angie’s List service awards back to back years.

Water puddling on a balcony above the garage, leaking into the garage and creating a danger of wood rot and mold. Great consultation from Cameron, who presented various options. Thanks to the unique material that Absolute Maintenance uses in these types of cases, a cost effective solution was had. The coating is flexible and UV-​resistant — a big plus as this surface gets hit with full sun all day long. As projected, the job was completed in three days (drying time needed between coats of the material). Jaime and his assistant Francisco were thorough and professional (as were the administrative staff in the office), keeping me posted about the progress of the work at every stage. I am very confident that the work will be able to withstand everything El Nino can throw at it and am very thankful that I found this company. I would not hesitate to hire them for work as needed in the future.

After our most recent heavy rain, I experienced water intrusion in my home in the hills of Los Angeles. I knew because of the complexity of the issue, it would be a fairly costly issue to correct. I did my due diligence and received a few bids for the work. Absolute Maintenance’s quote was slightly more than the others, but as the saying goes, «you get what you pay for.»
After a thorough examination of the property and an explanation of the problem, they provided me with a few different options. They waterproofed my home from the interior and exterior, created an alternate path for water and debris to travel during a rainfall, and did some mold remediation inside the home.
In fear of another heavy rainfall, I wanted the work done immediately. They obliged this request and got started the next day and finished about a week later. They were on time, courteous, professional, and extremely neat and tidy.
The mold has been removed and my home is now waterproofed. Bring it, El Nino!

I requested for Absolute Maintenance to assess some water damage at my house. I was nervous about the possibility of mold and the cost of remediation and was somewhat hesitant about hiring a consultant that does both testing and remediation, but Absolute had so many good reviews that I decided to give them a try. Cameron got stuck in traffic coming to my house and was late but kept in communication regarding his ETA and he waived the consultation fee as a result (and was very apologetic). After inspecting the damaged areas, Cameron gave me thorough advice regarding how to clean and seal the areas myself, and what products to use, saving me a lot of money. I felt very relieved after the consult and appreciated Cameron’s helpfulness and time (which he provided for no charge). Even if I had paid for consultation, it would have been worth it for the advice and peace of mind.

We had a boiler break, and it leaked a lot of water into the walls between a bathroom and a closet. After I detected the smell of mold, and a separation in the wood molding, I knew I had to find a company to remediate the problem. I checked various on-​line resources, and decided to call Absolute Maintenance, not only because of their great reviews, but also because they were one of the few remediation companies that would also do the wall repairs. They came as promised and gave me an estimate for the mold remediation and wall reconstruction. After agreeing to terms, they arrived to begin work as scheduled, and immediately began covering my wood floors and creating sealed zones in which they performed their work. Along the way, they pointed out the problems, and explained how they were going to fix them.
The work was done exactly as they promised (and more), and on schedule. The finished product was perfect, and impossible to detect any evidence that there had been any repairs. They cleaned up so well, I considered canceling my cleaning lady for the week. I would recommend Absolute absolutely!

I called them twice to evaluate my house for a wet crawl space. The first time Cameron came and told me what he felt was necessary to get my landscape drainage working and also helped me by making some phone calls to find people willing to work on the landscape drainage for me. After making the necessary repairs for my drainage I called them again to assess for any necessary mold repair in my crawl space. The guys came today and told me that I didn’t have mold but I had a leak in the sewage that was contributing to my wet crawl space. I really like these guys as they are honest and reliable! It’s hard finding honest people in the construction/​house repair business.

This firm did a job for me at a home I own in Mission Viejo, it was likely that the leaks my home was experiencing came from different places, so it took someone with the expertise they have to identify the source and come up with a plan for the repair. They did an excellent job… the gentlemen that worked on my home were very professional and knowledgable. The quality of the work was exceptional. What I really was glad about was the fact that they did everything, by that I mean, ALL the repairs. roof, sheetrock, stucco, flooring, painting, electrical… absolutely amazing.

Two weeks ago I reach to Absolute to fix my property. Not able being onsite to see the work Bryan, Cameron, Miguel and all their staff were so attentive! I loved the customer service and their work is exceptional. They would call me very often to give me updates about the work done, send me pictures of the places to be fixed, before and after pictures. I am very pleased and glad I hired them for the work! They wont do anything without first asking you and the owners inspect the job themselves and after a month they go and visit the property again to see that everything is good! In short, awesome customer service and work. Thumbs up Absolute!

When you’re having a disaster in any area it ‘s always comforting to know someone that cares enough to support you with no strings attached or feeling like «What’s in it for them» because they don’t realize their blessing may not come from that person anyway. i met Cameron this year as I, a professional Organizer, supported a client that had mold. Of the many companies that we interviewed Absolute Maintenance was the most impressive and their presentation was the most reassuring. Honesty and integrity are key for me in every way and I felt that from them. Months later my mother encountered mold in her home and there was only one person I thought to consult that I felt was knowledgeable and complete professional and that he was. If you want a company you don’t have to worry about, call Absolute Maintenance.

I’ve never seen a business run this well. Like a well oiled machine. I called and talked to Cameron. He really knows his stuff and I was very impressed and felt very well taken care of. Then I spoke to a couple of the girls in the office about the particulars. Someone was out here super promptly and things were fixed before I knew it. I had all kinds if issues with my pipes that needed professional attention, especially the leaks leading to mold. These guys are PROS.
The bill came shortly after the fix and I was very pleased. There were no big surprises or unforeseen costs. Next time I have a problem, it’s good to know I have someone reliable to call.

These guys certainly seem to have done a great job on my repairs. I’ve had a rain leak in this room for years and no one has ever been able to fix it. Cameron came out and looked at it and seemed to think he knew exactly what was wrong. He bid the job and completed the repairs very quickly and on time. They always showed up on time and they did a great job with the clean up. Even did more than promised putting everything back to the way it was. Now, let it rain so I can see if it really worked… which I’m confident it did :)

I had recently moved into a new home and when my husband and I decided to remodel the kitchen we discovered mold in numerous of places. I heard about Absolute Maintenance through one of my coworkers so I decided to give them a call. I wanted this done as soon as possible since I was planning a bridal shower for my sister in law. Bryan Clark was the gentleman that helped my husband and I through the whole entire process. He new exactly what to do and ensured us that he would have the problem fixed in no time. I must say I was impressed because of how much damage there was. Absolute Maintenance did an amazing job on getting my home back to the way it should of be. The process was fast and professional. I have had three contractors try to resolve a leak problem at my home and all three failed to diagnose it correctly and in turn failed to fix it. Cameron and Absolute Maintenance came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and went about the process of fixing it. When they got on to our roof they determined what the problem actually was and took pictures to show me. They fixed it and did a very clean job. Their guys were great and meticulous with their work. Fairly priced, good effective work and clean, I don’t think I can ask for much more than that from a contractor. Great job, and great company.

We knew we had mold, but didn’t know how bad it could be. Cameron came out and provided an estimate on what he felt the damage could be. Once his guys came out — always on time and extremely courteous — they did a great job of getting to the source, fixing and testing to ensure the problem was solved. The work alone warranted the stars, but the fact that they were absolutely on time for each day, communicated exactly what was going on and ensured that things were cleaner than before they got there was really great. I hope to never use them again (because, who wants mold?) but will quickly bring them back if the need ever arises.

This is a great company to work with. Being a housewife, I tend to be the one overseeing our home improvement projects. It is easy to feel like you are getting the run around or even have people talk down to you because you are a female. Not with Absolute Maintenance and Consulting. They are ABSOLUTE professionals. I really enjoyed working with the owner, Cameron. He was very professional, very patience and explained everything to me. Any time I had a question or concern he was there to address them. I can’t recommend this company enough. They have exceeded all of my expectations. The quality of work was outstanding and their customer service goes above and beyond.

I met Cameron as a patient in my Chiropractic office several years ago. I ended up having a water leak in my home from a faulty shower head that caused damage in an adjoining room. Cameron came out and assessed the situation and found what the problem was using his infrared camera. He was able to go into the area and clean it up and repair the underlying plumbing issue for a fair price. The resulting mold was contained and cleaned along with all of the issues in the wall itself. He also helped me get everything put back together again after the work was completed. It was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking this particular type of service.

We had mold. Yuck. Boy, the mold was terrible in our home, in a place where we had a leak from a shower. We called this company in to assess the situation. Where others had come in before and told us one thing, they readily proved to us, using their technology and their equipment, where the leak was coming from. Upon opening that area up, sure enough, that’s where it was. Once that was complete, now we knew where the mold was at, we asked them to complete the mission by doing the mold remediation, which they did. They did everything, as far as we’re concerned, with integrity. They were clean and neat, kept my wife very happy, and we would definitely use them again.

THEY LEFT A DRY-​ROTTED THRESHOLD in place, and it still leaks! I have no idea how these guys have 5 stars. They must write their own reviews under fake names. My HOA Board hired them to fix a leaky balcony issue in my unit in February 2012, and IT STILL LEAKS. They said they «did what they were hired to do,» yet when it didn’t fix the leak they just dusted off their hands and walked away. How can you call yourself a leak and water damage repair expert if the area still leaks after you repaired it? They didn’t even do a leak test after they finished the work — the leak was re-​discovered when it rained 2 months later. Oh, and did I mention they left a dry-​rotted threshold in place? It stated right on the front page of their contract (which I didn’t see until way later) that the «threshold was severely water-​damaged,» and yet they just water-​proofed right over it instead of replacing it. When I left my original Unilocal review a couple months after they did the work, they made me take it down before they would return and replace the threshold and address the problem. So I removed my review and called them to come back out, only to have Cameron (the owner, I believe) turn around and say he never agreed to do the job. Do the job? You mean repair the shoddy work you did in the first place? What terrible customer service, not to mention that he was extremely rude every time I had contact with him. I didn’t technically hire him — the HOA Board did — but I paid a huge chunk of the bill, and it’s MY HOUSE that is still leaking. The neighbors downstairs had to replace their kitchen due to mold issues resulting from the leak, too. Absolute’s website actually says «We seal leaks and we get it right the first time.» I had to laugh when I read that! Then why do I still have a leak? And a dry-​rotted threshold? It also says «We’ve literally never met a problem we couldn’t solve. When there’s a problem in your home, we understand you need it fixed NOW.» Um, yeah, mine was supposedly fixed in February 2012 and still leaks in October 2014, so thanks for fixing that leak. (Side note: we have now hired a new company to fix the leak, at an additional cost of several thousand dollars after paying Absolute over $ 9000 the first time.) Do not hire this company. They do not stand by their work — even when they say they will fix the problem they didn’t fix the first time!

These guys were great! Bryan did everything he could to make sure my apartment was covered thoroughly and took a lot of care in moving my stuff. They finished what I thought would be a week long job in 3 days and even finished early on the 3rd day. My deck looks great and I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone — they clearly care about their work and went the extra mile to be accommodating.

I had a horrid smell coming from somewhere in my home, but since I haven’t lived here for long, and the one-​story house is small, I wasn’t sure where to start looking for the source. I asked a couple people who claimed they would figure it out so I could then contact the appropriate company to fix the issue. Nobody could figure out the issue. Finally, I called a company to come out for inspection and/​or leak detection, because nobody knew what the problem was. I spoke with a couple companies about coming out to fix the issue, but their quotes were outrageous and they seemed so corporate and unfriendly. I stumbled upon Absolute maintenance and Consulting by default, but was so pleasantly surprised after speaking with Cameron. He was friendly, yet professional and the service was prompt.
The team was quick to come out and inspect my home, figuring out within the first ten minutes what the problem was and where it was rooted. Turns out I had a small leak in a pipe that was stemmed from my garbage disposal. That’s why it smelled like fish! Since the small leak had been existing for a while, there was water accumulating beneath my home. Due to this issue, another problem arose. The team did some mold inspection, and sure enough it was everywhere and mold removal was necessary. They found the problem fast, worked professionally, were very nonintrusive in my home (to the best of their ability), and i felt they provided high quality work. Another note, Cameron and his staff were very knowledgeable and even helped give me advice for other issues in my home.
Overall, great experience. Good prices, great quality, professional and quick team. I’d recommend anytime!

We hired Absolute Maintenance and Consulting to perform some repairs on our deck and update the waterproofing in our basement for our rental property in Long Beach. Since the initial consultation with Cameron and our project being fully complete I am fully impressed with their customer service. I am truly grateful how Cameron listened to my needs and was very considerate of my budget. The crew was extremely friendly and courteous while maintaining the professionalism to finish the job in a timely and efficient manner.
