History

Established in 2000.

Adrian J. Adams began his career managing large-​scale associations and a luxury high-​rise on the prestigious Wilshire Corridor in Los Angeles. Adrian dreamed of managing a firm where the focus would be exclusively representing Common Interest Developments.

In 2000, his dream was realized with the opening of his own firm. Many of his clients were the high rises on the Wilshire Corridor. Adrian’s management and business experience allowed him to recognize the need for quality legal services at an affordable price. A a practical solution, the firm developed an annual retainer program. Prior to earning a Masters in Business Administration from UCLA and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, Adrian managed large community associations. Adrian’s experience gives our firm a unique perspective on the legal needs of homeowner associations and allows us to provide practical solutions to legal issues associations encounter. Adrian also serves as an expert witness on standards of care issues involving association boards of directors and community managers. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the CIDLAW Organization and previously served on both the Los Angeles and Orange County chapters of the Community Associations Institute. Because of Adrian’s commitment to education, he created the Davis​-Stir​ling​.com website and is the editor of the Davis​-Stir​ling​.com newsletter. The website has become the principle online reference for the HOA industry in California.
