I rented an apartment from them and it started off terrible. First, you could tell that they tried to flip the apartment complex fast and it showed. The drywall was not finished or sanded. There was spackle splashes everywhere and some areas weren’t even painted. There was also drywall dust all over the floor, which we had to clean. To top it off we couldn’t even move in because there was no working water and the sink needed to be caulked and the grout in the bathroom was cracking. Second, all the top of our outlets were never in working condition from the time we moved in until the time we left. Apparently, Shelby said she would tell the repair man Henry to fix our problems, but we never heard from him. We did hear from Henry and Shelby when they were assessing the «damages» to our apartment as they were swift to deduct from our deposit. They charged for smudges on the wall and a cleaning fee for an apartment we left clean. What was more infuriating is that they charged us a cleaning fee when we left the apartment better than we received it. They never once sent anyone to clean our apartment. Also, during our initial move in they would use our yard as storage for boards and tools. A family member came over to visit and the wood board fell on their foot and they stepped on a nail. I would never rent from them again unless they get better service and address their terrible customer service.

Getting our dryer fixed has been an absolute nightmare. This has not been the first thing we have needed fixed/​replaced and each time I am left to follow up consistently to know what is happening, WHO is going to be in my home to fix WHAT and WHEN. It’s been a good month and our dryer is still not fixed. It’s supposedly under warranty because it’s a new appliance, so instead of sending someone out to just fix it because it’s an inconvenience for their tenant, they’re taking their time finding someone who can do it, I’m assuming for free.
I’m furious that anytime something becomes an issue in our home, it becomes a job in itself for me to manage and keep these guys on track with prioritizing our apartment. I’m close to hiring someone to come fix it myself because at this point eating the $ 400 would be more beneficial that dealing with this BS.
