First time I used them and had a great experience. Dave and team were super professional and provided the perfect level of explanation I needed. I contracted them to do 4 separate units of my building and they were very accommodating to our schedules. Fair price and will definitely use them again for my next job. Windows were great quality and they did a great job with installation. Thanks!

Dave was a pleasure to work with. He quoted based on specs, so we wouldn’t waste each other’s time. Then he came out to approximate his quote. Really good quality glass with a 3 – 5 day turnaround time. He installed 2 bathroom panels pretty quickly. He communicated by email/​text as well. My client and I found him really easy to work with and his prices were reasonable. I’ve had some glass fiascos with other guys, I’m definitely going to keep Dave’s number.

I am so glad I called Dave from Addis Glass. I wanted my dining and coffee tables covered with glass to protect the wood from constant water marks and problems cleaning them. I called many glass companies. Some lagged or didn’t reply at all. From the get go Dave responded quickly and get me the quote when he said he would. He gave me an outstanding price. Significantly lower than all the others! When he came to measure everything went well. Few days later he came out to install the glass. We decided to go a little smaller on one table than initially planned and that was no problem. I thought it would take an additional few days to recut the glass but I was wrong. He came back within the hour and it came out perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the service or the price. I will definitely call him again for all my glass needs! Roughly, two years ago I went through Dave for all new dual pane windows for my house without much of a problem. Now, we’re doing some remodeling in my kitchen and decided to add a window. We called up Dave and squared everything away, price, and delivery date. He said no problem within two weeks, he will deliver the window. Two weeks came and went. Decided to give him a call and left him a voicemail, no response. Three days after my initial phone call I sent him a text, again, no response. Now a month later and still no response. I’m really thankful we never put any money down because I really doubt we would’ve gotten that back. Other two reviewer are right, he flakes. Stay away.

They were the only ones who called me back!!! Our office has huge windows in the front and one was cracking bad. They came the next day to do an estimate and it was very reasonable. We went with them and had our window replaced the next week! Very professional and did a great job. Cleaned up after themselves! If we ever need it again I am on;y calling them. Still haven’t heard from the other companies I called.

Look no further, when it comes to windows & glazing. Dave from Addis Glass completed a job for me to perfection. We needed some glazing on a few windows and a few replacement windows and I found Addis Glass on Unilocal.Dave quoted me the job and was out the next day to complete the job. He was easy to work with, his pricing is reasonable, and he is knowledgable with windows. We plan to hire Dave for more window
work and you should too!

I had a late night emergency at a property in Malibu, two windows were broken due to vandalism. I called about a half a dozen places and Addis was the only company to get back to me. Dave was very responsive and willing to drive all the way out to Malibu to board up the broken windows (one of which was an entire door) first thing the very next morning. He was also very communicative about pricing and sent us pictures of the completed work (boarded windows) since we were not at the property and he is working with us to order replacement window panes. He did a great job of cleaning the glass too. We will us Addis again and recommend them to other home owners.

I truly appreciate the professional and prompt service I received with Dave Addis at Addis Glass & Windows. I called on a Saturday morning for a very small broken window replacement and he was out to fix the glass immediately. Also, his pricing was the most fair and reasonable from the other window companies I had called from Unilocal.Thank you Dave for your cheerful disposition and being available so quickly that made it a pleasure to do business with you.

Not understanding Dave’ s 5 star rating. We contacted him at least 3 times to ask about our job. We took photos of the broken window, sent measurements, and always replied within minutes (we were desperate to get the window fixed).
He flaked and flaked and flaked. What, the job wasn’t big enough for you, Dave?
We ended up going with some other dudes I found on Unilocal.I won’t name them here lest people think I’m a paid shill or something but I’m going to go post a 5 star review on their page now.
Skip Dave if you want someone who respects you as a customer.

I am very surprised by the ratings here on Unilocal for this guy. The high ratings were why I contacted David Addis to construct a glass shower enclosure at my home. David was very responsive and came out to the house twice, once for an estimate and once to re-​measure for the cut of the glass wall. He seemed professional and knowledgeable. He told me that he would be back within a week or so to install the enclosure. He scheduled an installation of Monday or Tuesday (can’t remember), but then said that the glass was not ready and it would be delayed until Friday or Saturday. Then he said that he hurt his knee and it would be delayed until Monday. Then he texted me that it would be Tuesday and sent me a pic of his knee. I worked from home on Tuesday to be there for the installation and he never showed. He never called. It is two weeks later. He never showed, texted, called, nothing though I have repeatedly tried to contact him. Anyway, obviously, I am going with a different installer and canceled his services via text.
I would never ever recommend this guy. It is extreme disrespectful to the customer to go completely AWOL with no explanation, no communication. I wish there was a zero stars option.

I contracted Dave to replace all 15 windows in my house. He was very personable, and was knowledgable about different brands and styles. He installed all 15 windows in one day, and they came out beautiful!
My one complaint is the difficulty communicating with Dave. It usually took a while for him to get back to me when I contacted him, and to send paperwork that I requested. Other than that he did an excellent job!

Dave rocks! I contacted him because of his Unilocal reviews. This company is top notch. There is no comparison between the quality & installation of the windows from Addis Glass & those previously installed by others. They look great! My only regret is not knowing about him sooner.

Responsiveness: I called 3 – 4 places and Dave was the only one to get back to me in a timely fashion. When you have a broken window in the summer that’s pretty key!
Pricing: He was great at giving me several options to work with and the pros and cons of each. There is no BS with Dave — he wants you to make the decision that is best for you, not his pocket — very unique in LA.
Communication: Kept me up to date on what was going on with the order and install and was flexible on scheduling.
Quality: They did a great job, the replacement looked great and I will be using them in the future for the rest of our house. They cleaned up everything and were even cool working around my cranky toddler who wanted to be up in their work.

Dave is awesome and a consummate professional. He put in 6 windows for us and we could NOT be happier with the job.

I called Monday morning. Had an immediate response. They came out later that day for measurements, and installed a large piece of tempered glass the next day. The service and installation was excellent and the price very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company!

I needed a mirror installed on a hollow wood door — not super easy to do. After having a hard time finding a company to do the job within my budget and quickly, I found Addis. Dave was great to work with and the installation looks great!

David is a class act and a glass jedi — he serviced our 50 + year old aluminum windows for a very fair price, didn’t try to up sell us for any unnecessary products or services — even taught me how to maintain and service the windows myself going forward. Then he had new glass panes fabricated for an original glass louvre window set into a door — they were a perfect match and slid in perfectly without us having to spring for a new door or window. Very happy.

David was responsive, making himself available on the weekend for a consult. He was realistic, not inflating the solution. And he was effective, completing the job within the time and estimate he originally stated.

My son threw a rock and destroyed our living room window. My husband and I had no idea who to call so I checked Unilocal.I saw the awesome reviews about Addis Glass and Glazing, so I gave them a call. David was very professional, friendly and responsive. He was able to come out and provide a quote within a hour of my call and scheduled the replacement the following day. He arrived as scheduled and had our window replaced in less than an hour. Wow! I am extremely pleased with the results and fast service. Now, The hard part is keeping my son from throwing rocks and balls toward the window…:-)

Dave was quick, polite and a pro! (Showed up early!) Didn’t try to overcharge or hit me for the extra work he had to put in with my stubborn shitty windowframe!
He even texted with important follow up info for upkeep after the job was complete!
One note, Dave is more of a texter-​if you can stick to that he will be easy and quick to communicate with.

We have had a leaky window for years. I called Addis Glass to come out and see if they could find the problem. Dave arrived on time, assessed the problem and gave me a fair quote to recaulk the window. He returned as promised on time and completed the job. He is super personable and friendly. I would highly recommend him! We are now having additional leaky window problems and we are using Dave again!

Wish I had known about Dave Addis sooner. I wouldn’t have waited so long to take care of my old 1950’s metal casement windows. There were many cracks and he fixed them all and did a great job! A few days later after the job was completed I realized that I had missed one window pane that was also cracked. I called Dave and he came out later just to fix one window pane. Most guys wouldn’t have even bothered. He was also the most reasonably priced out of the 4 or 5 other people that I had called. I definitely would recommend him.

I can’t say enough about how happy we are with the job Sunspot Windows did at our home. Our older windows needed a lot of repair and owner Dave Addis went beyond the call of duty researching parts and finding solutions for fixing our windows at a fraction of the cost of any one else. No kidding, they came in and solved all of our window issues fast and made the process easier than I ever believed possible.

This company is great.
When he realized he couldn’t make it the day of, he recommended another company. I called the other company and they couldn’t make it out either. I called Sunspot and said I would wait for them to come when they could. He came that SAME day. Awesome.
