These guys are cool as hell! And they are having a crazy sale !!! Idk why people are not leaving good reviews… Stan made me feel more than welcome and had a brief talk about the different styles of shoes they currently have. I went with the new ishod wair SB dunks and had to get another pair just because B) thanks for being very cool, informative, and all around nice. I never felt pressured into the purchase and I walked out stoked. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Thanks Stan, for the killer service.

5 Stars for Service, 4 Stars for Shoe Selection. After going to 4 or 5 shops in the area, finally came across Stan at Advantis Ride. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the shoes, was not at ALL pushy(more than I can say about most of the other local sneaker/shoe shops), and was an all-around friendly guy. Though the shoe selection isn’t massive(I’d guess they have maybe 10 – 20 different male shoes in stock, they’re quality shoes and I walked out with a pair of Adidas Donnellys. I will be coming back.

I’ve worked at a boutique before. I understand when you’re the only worker in the store it can be stressful to engage with a single customer and then a group comes in and you have to watch the group. After this experience, I won’t be coming back. First time in the store, came with a few friends. Quietly looked around, didn’t unfold the clothes or disturb the merchandise. The worker(Asian dude) made conversation, seemed cool. After LOOKINGAROUND, we left. As we made our way down the street the worker came out and yelled at us while we were leaving, «WHO’S THEANNOYINGONE?!» Not sure what his problem is, but this was totally unwarranted and we didn’t appreciate being yelled at. That gets you a one star review. Don’t come here unless you want some small conversation and you BETTER be looking to buy.

Good deal on some Nike Stefan Janoski’s. But service was the real perk at this shop. I left my phone there and the guy who sold me the shoes literally ran five blocks to find me and return it. Super nice guy, but I didn’t get his name. I’m so appreciative! Thanks man! I’ll remember you and Advantis Ride!

One of the hidden gems on Melrose. Since most of the other stores have a more«eccletic» selection, Advantis fills a good for me. Great skateboarding shoe selection and the staff is super helpful. The manager Stan knows his stuff and is good at finding good fits for you.

I was looking for these muska skytops and called this place up. The guy working there was chill and helpful, other places you can get the shoe(IE The muska store on fairfax… DONTGOTOTHEMUSKASTORE… doushbaggery galore) I went in, the guy was helpful and I got the shoes for a decent price. I definitely recommend this chill spot for skate/surf sunglasses, and shoes. Do it!

Shopped here about a month ago. This tiny store on Melrose is a skateboarding shop with a seemingly endless selection of t-shirts. I don’t skate, so I was obviously only interested in supplementing my poser skater style, lol. They carry tons of styles in all the major brands and have pretty good deals when you buy multiple items. Also the salespeople were exceedingly helpful and friendly. almost too eager, but at least they don’t hawk ugly shit or pressure you to buy. I’d come here again, but I’m trying to reign in my compulsive shopping habits and this place doesn’t help.
