Originally from Hollywood, California, I have lived and worked in Sicily for the past two decades as a Sicily Travel Specialist with Agave Travel Creative. We develop personalized and unique luxury culinary and cultural tours, outdoor adventures and experiences. Along with our hand-picked team of private drivers, cultural and culinary guides, we strive to connect our guests to the local culture, people and traditions of Sicily, providing personal service and attention while helping our guests feel a part of «local life.»

Agave Travel Creative is about experiencing the «local life» of Sicily. After two decades of having lived and worked in Sicily from the inside, I strive to create personalized culinary and cultural adventures for my guests that are in line with their own travel style. My team of drivers, guides, artists, winemakers, chefs, and family are a result of having been fully immersed in Sicily life, and not of a visiting travel agent or tour operator. It is our sincere desire to extend those personal relationships in the context of luxury travel to my guests.

Business Owner
Born in Hollywood, California, and raised in his Italian family’s landmark restaurant, Emilio’s, alongside his five siblings. Marcello was immersed in the food, wine, and service culture as a child, learning how to spell Chianti before his ABC’s. For almost two decades, Marcello has continued his creative culinary cultural journey on the southern Italian island of Sicily, where he fell in love with the people, culture and most of all the food!
His multi-cultural adventurous spirit, love of food + wine, and a passion for meeting people, led him to become a Cultural Concierge with AgaVe Travel Creative. As one of the select «Condé Nast Top Travel Specialists» for Sicily, he coordinates Cultural Tours in Sicily and Culinary Events in the US with his «Sicilian connections» for kindred spirits looking to explore and discover the cultural mosaic of Sicily.
