Worst pizza ever. I ordered the All’ Orto, and when it arrived, it was a soggy, cheeseless mess. If you’re not gonna put cheese on a pizza, you need to expressly state that on the menu. Not only was it bland beyond comparison, but the entire center was soggy and wet. Thumbs down.

My wife and I went here last night for the first time. Loved this place(and will be back). Service was excellent(Stephanie was our server), food was great, and very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Hi Donald C, Thank you for your concern. I really appreciate it. I came in on Friday 02⁄12 for lunch around 11am to 12pm. I usually come on Fridays lunch and the server that I mentionned is always there everytime I come. I’m not a Unilocal person and my purpose is not to make ppl in trouble for just small thing but that server really needs to work on her attitude.

Trouble on the Horizon The pizza was edible but nothing special with a crust that leaned more towards doughy. A quarter of the pizza was just cheese with a lot of the toppings off to one side, not sure if this happened during the delivery or what. «Did I order a plain cheese?» The cook sure laid on with the eggplant, while skimping on the sausage, bell peppers, basil, etc… Large sections of the pizza was just cheese. Toppings Overboard! The cheese was too runny when the pizza was hot, then took on gluier consistency after starting to cool. Whether hot or cooled off, the cheese and toppings kept sliding off. Even if you sopped the mess of cheese and toppings back on, the dough was too soaked through to be of any use. No Fun Every slice felt like it wanted to go in every direction BUT my mouth. This is the first time eating pizza was a chore, I felt blindsided. End Game You can get way better pizza elsewhere, but if you’re desperate and need to fulfill a craving(like I did) it will suffice. Certainly not the worst pizza I’ve ever had but there’s better options out there. Edit: The owner of the place has replied to a lot of comments here, a sign he cares about the place and hopefully they’re able to turn things around. For that I’m bumping them to 3 stars.

AMAZINGFOOD! Talk about mom and pop homemade Italian food! Man oh man it was delicious. Our waitress was such a pleasure as well! They definitely give you way more than you can eat in one sitting, I will absolutely return here again!

I would rate this place 3 stars if I had proof that it was the cause of my upset stomach, but I don’t. I ordered the four cheese pizza with pepperoni amd the caprese salad. So the cons…5 dollar delivery fee seems expensive, luke warm pizza when it finally arrived(it took almost an hour and the spot is less than a mile away, LA traffic maybe), and the free garlic bread was crunchy and a little too salty(more like garlic chips). Maybe they can use their garlic bread as the croutons for their Caesar. Also, i think that it gave me an upset stomach. The pros… it tasted good, and it was perfect because I was feeling very snacky at the time, the caprese salad was all very fresh and they gave me some type of crunchy garlic bread for free. I will probably try this place again and try something different. Maybe I’ll tell them to hold off on the garlic crunchies next time though.

Donald, first of all, thank you for your effort in attempting to rectify my bad experience with the restaurant(delivery). It was on Jan. 30 @ 5:22pm(that’s when I received the email from Unilocal indicating that my order was in), and I ordered it through Unilocal’s app. FYI, during the same call(mentioned on my initial review), a person from the restaurant informed me that the spaghetti with meatballs was unavailable and that they would inform Unilocal to deduct this item from my bill, but it was not deducted. If you provide me your email address, I will forward you the email of the order that I placed. Thank you.

Really small place, 6 tables inside, 3 outside. Kitchen is in the dining room, so you get to watch as the Mexicans cook everything fresh. Lol. The pizza is definitely good, they need to re-design that bruschetta. It was fresh but weird. The calamari looked good(maybe next time) Overall, one of my favorite pizza places. I used to live in NYC’s hells kitchen and I travel alot, I’ve had pizza all over the U.S. so trust me… its good stuff.

I have driven by this place a million times and never noticed it. I decided to order through Eat24 on a whim with a little of apprehension due to past experiences in ordering Italian delivery and problems with food quality. Not mention they are located in the middle of Koreatown! OK there I said it! HAHA Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Calamari Fritti and I was very satisfied. Perfectly breaded and cooked. Not over or under cooked. Crispy and toothy as Calamari is supposed to be. The marinara sauce is a perfect accompaniment. The Pappardelle al Telefono is amazing! My first bite I was in heaven. The pasta was perfectly cooked to al dente. I can tell the sauce was made using fresh tomatoes since the tomatoes didn’t have that tinny taste. Perfectly seasoned with delightful mozzarella cheese throughout. I devoured this dish! I ordered the Pannacotta, but I got a call from the restaurant and Eat24 that they were out. Boooooo, I was hoping to try it. But, I understand how restaurants are sometimes out of dishes. So, I settled with Tiramisu. The Tiramisu was average. No complaints on that. I am looking forward to trying their other dishes in the future. I am so glad I found this place for my Italian fix.

I find myself thinking about All’ Angolo constantly. Me and my roommate came here to try it one night and were totally blown away. It has a very small intimate«family owned» –esque vibe and a very open design, you can see them prepare your food for you. They give you these rosemary bread pieces to dip in oil and vinegar as an appetizer, which is already delicious. Then came the rest of our food. We’re both vegetarian so we went with a small Margherita pizza, then I got the Pappardelle al Telefono. They were very gracious when my roommate asked to substitute a veggie for meat in her pasta selection and they made it to her order. The pizza was great, as was my pasta. The ambience inside is cute and fun and I have returned several times just to get that same pasta again. Everything looks fresh and tasty. Would absolutely recommend.

I got the penne alla genovese, it was bland and forgettable. What was not forgettable was the server’s apparent distaste for us. She acted like we were inconveniencing her by eating at the restaurant. My friend found hair in her food. It took them so long(30+ minutes while she sat and watched the rest of us eat) to remake the pizza that she had to take it to go. Maybe it was a bad idea to get Italian food in KTown, but this place seemed like a neighborhood favorite and we were going karaoking next door. Lesson learned.

This is probably my favorite place to get pasta, to be honest. I love the calamari! It’s so yummy. My favorite pasta is the Pappardelle al telefono. I think I misspelled that… But anyway this place is the best. It’s such a great atmosphere. Nice people and delicious food! Come in, stay awhile! Or just as long as you can or have to.

I’ll make this short. Went here a couple years ago, ordered the strozzapreti alla trentina. Was not disappointed at all. Creamy but not sickening. It tastes truly Italian(though I have to admit idk what that means.) it’s not your average cheap American mockery that makes you feel bloated fat and gross afterwards. It is quality. Definitely want to go back and try their gnocchi and pappardelle al telefono. SEATING: VERY limited. Only bring one other. There are maybe 4 tables for couples. And that’s it. PARKING: small lot. All angolo is part of a small plaza. If there aren’t any spaces in the lot, you’d have to street park. They also apparently do take out and delivery so those are options for larger parties or people who don’t want to deal with parking. If you live nearby and the pasta won’t get gross, go for it.

Moved to LA from Hawai’i 3 years ago, & to date, this is my favorite restaurant here. I have worked in restaurants all my life, so there are a lot of factors that play in to me having an amazing experience. Food is always on point. We literally order the same thing every time: Eggplant Parmesan, Penne Ala Basciola, Emiliana Pizza.(ask for the chili oil!!!). We order other things too, & they’re all amazing, but we do not leave without ordering these 3 dishes! It’s one of those GEM hole in the wall places. Every time we have family and friends visit us from Hawai’i, this is definitely one of the places we bring them. Prices are extremely reasonable, & definitely worth every penny. Parking is very limited, but still easy to find street parking. Trust me, I know it’s weird to think that the best Italian restaurant is located in Koreatown, but you will not be disappointed!!!

On my second visit Monday 11⁄23 the service was slow… we were like 5 customers in all around 1pm –2 pm. The food was good and I took a doggy bag home.

Small, very limited space, but cozy and not uncomfortable. I don’t advise a party of more than 3 – 4 people. It’s perfect for two. Good, attentive service. As for the food, I really recommend the Caprese(for an appetizer), and so far all the pastas that I have tried were solid. The only downside to this place is the limited(but free!) parking in the tiny strip mall plaza in which it’s located. Overall, I would recommend this place to everyone :)

Bookmarked this place to add it to new places to eat. Today the boyf and I came here for a quick lunch. First off, I studied abroad in Rome back in college and I am very picky with my Italian food. This place is a hole in the wall with not that many seats. Once inside we were greeted with a kind hostess with excitement to tell us all the specials and offer my purse its own chair. Everything according to our waitress/hostess is made fresh and at the restaurant; the taste speaks for itself. Ordered the arugula salad with shaved parmesan with a light vinaigrette sauce and very tasty. Boyf, got the penne pasta with Alfredo sauce in chicken. I got the shrimp ravioli with pink vodka sauce. Overall, great experience, kind wait staff, and open kitchen. Parking is a bit tight. Will come back again.

Who knew that ktown had a decent Italian restaurant? At Angolo you have to try their pasta dishes such as the penne alla boscaiola(chicken sausage, peas and mushrooms in a creamy sauce). It was very tasty without being overly greasy or heavy such as pasta dishes you would find at Olive Garden. My friend had also tried the campellini al pomodoro which tasted pretty flavorful. They also give you complimentary crispy flat bread that was addicting and is great for dipping your pasta sauce in and eating it together. Overall, this is a great hidden gem in koreatown and really hits the spot when you are craving Italian. The interior is a little small and it would be nice if it was a bigger restaurant, but it’s food is what will draw me back. Maybe next time I’ll do take out.

I was really excited to finally try out this mom and pop Italian place located in ktown… but didn’t find what I was looking for. The service and ambience are great, but the food was average. There is a cute indoor area with about 5 – 6 tables. Larger tables can seat 3 – 7 people and have a mixture of benches and chairs. There are also tables outside; however it is located right next to the parking lot. The service was quick and hospitable! Also, there are about 6 parking spots outside of the restaurant! And now to the food… I got take out so I understand that my 5 minute walk home may have altered how the food tasted. But unfortunately, the sauces were greasy and there was nothing special about the dishes either. Grilled vegetables — 3⁄5 — array of grilled veggies that were well seasoned. As I got to the bottom of the dish, it did get greasier. Rigatoni −3.5÷5 — spicy sauce with perfectly cooked al dente pasta. I was concerned because I could see the oil separation within minutes of digging in. It is well seasoned(taste bumps it up to 3.5), just extremely greasy… Gnocchi w/Ragu sauce — 3⁄5 — Ragu sauce was well seasoned and meaty. I’m a stickler on gnocchi quality and was not impressed. The gnocchi seemed store bought. That was the only thing that brought the dish rating down from a 4. This place wasn’t really my thing, but you should check it out and see if it’s yours.

This could be one of the better kept secrets of Los Angeles. I could t believe the check when it came, and in a good way. Other businesses could learn from their model of giving great food at reasonable prices. Pros: Delicious Reasonably priced Good bread Great service Cons: Parking Only a few tables Chef licked his fingers and then handled the steak he was cooking twice and that grossed me out! So I wouldn’t get the steak. This will be our go to Italian restaurant when in town.
