History

Established in 1992.

American Accessories and Trims (AAT) opened for business in 1992 as a small one man shop delivering trims and accessories to the Los Angeles garment district on foot. Through exemplary customer service and word-of-mouth name recognition our company has expanded both in size and scope. No longer limited to just the Los Angeles area, we are highly skilled at offering our renowned customer service and products anywhere in the world. Unlike some others in our industry, we can provide scalable solutions for everyone from the end user who only needs a few items to the multi-national manufacturer who needs millions and everyone in between. Over the years we have become adept at handling the various needs of individual customers, from designing unique trims, providing fast turnarounds for samples to international drop-shipment and even using our contacts overseas to produce products that are not garment related.

Meet the Business Owner

Mike R.

Business Owner

Mike started American Accessories and Trims in 1989 as a partnership. In the beginning he would hand deliver orders to customers, often walking miles with boxes of inventory in the Los Angeles summer heat. Over time, this personal level of customer service spread through word of mouth and slowly the company gained more customers and even a delivery truck! Today, Mike makes sure that he extends the personal level of customer service to all of his customers, whether it’s tracking down hard to find items or referring customers to other dealers who can help them better; his old fashioned «help the customer and they’ll help you» mentality remains strong.
