History
Established in 2015.
It’s long been owner Ed Sais’s dream to open his own kids’ gym. His first jobs were as a lifeguard and swim instructor for children. For over a decade he ran the classes at Bright Child, a much-loved kids’ gym and play space in Santa Monica. After Bright Child’s 2006 closing Ed spent several years of working in a different field, and now a father of two, the time finally seemed right to return to the work he is so good at and loves best. Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Ed, 43, has a life long love of everything athletic. From baseball to soccer, swimming to skiing he’s always up for the challenge of learning a new skill. Ed began working with children as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Monterey Park, CA pool when he was 15 years old. He continued child swim instruction while attending Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.
After Pepperdine, Ed was the assistant to Jamie Riese, the owner of Santa Monica based Bright Child Children’s Activity Center. Bright Child grew and he became Lead Teacher and Class Coordinator for the next 13 years.
When Bright Child’s Santa Monica location closed Ed went on to strengthen his business and management skills as Production Manager at Hologenix, LLC, a Santa Monica based Textile Company.
Now as a father of an 8 year old daughter and a 1 year old son, he is ready to combine his talent and passion for working with young children with his business skills to create a dynamic and fun learning environment.
