We love Dr. Asnani !!! I’m very grateful for her. She’s been very helpful and hands on with our daughter. The people in the office are very friendly and kind. Dr. Asnani has been patient and very welcoming with all of our questions and concerns. She takes the time to cover everything we need to know as first time parents. We love having her and I recommend her to anyone, she’s very passionate in what she does and actually cares !!!

We love Dr. Asnani and are extremely grateful that we chose her as our daughters pediatrician. The nurses in the office are always friendly and engaging and Dr. Asnani has a calm and affable personality while maintaining a comforting and playful demeanor with our daughter.
Our daughter was born in March of 2014 and she is our 1^st child. I love several things about this office in particular. We have never had to wait in the waiting room. Ever. Seriously, once we check in with the front desk — someone takes us to our room within a minute or less. Another of my favorite aspects of this office is how promptly Dr. Asnani attends to issues that arise after business hours and during weekends. Upon leaving a message we have always received a callback from Dr. Asnani within 2 hours. As 1^st time parents this is and has been extremely comforting.
The feedback, knowledge and insight that Dr. Asnani provides to us is invaluable. We moved to San Diego a year ago but my husband insists we still drive up for her quarterly checkups and vaccinations with Dr. Asnani.

Monica Asnani is the best !! Procrastinating, my wife and I didn’t originally have a pediatrician picked out for the baby. Thankfully we were assigned Dr. Monica Asnani. Meeting her at the hospital and office she’s been very caring, helpful, and informative to us and our baby. She takes the time to explain and answer all of our questions. I recommend her to those looking for a pediatrician. Monica Asnani is passionate about what she does !

I have been looking for an MD to pierce my daughter’s ears as our own stopped doing them. Since she is my first daughter, I was very nervous and scared to go anywhere else but a doctor. I came across Dr. Asnani on Unilocal and read the reviews and was able to make an appointment. She is wonderful and has great bedside manners. She explained the whole procedure to me from the equipment to the reasoning behind the type of earrings used to the care needed afterwards. She’s very good!!! Highly recommend for anyone that is looking for an MD. I drove all the way from Monrovia to see her and I don’t regret it! My 7 month old did great!!!

A family doctor recommended Dr Asnani. However, we did not get to schedule an appointment with her due to her availability. This review is not about Dr Asnani Monica.
The nurses in the office are obviously inexperienced and lack of compassion. My baby was a bit scared to visit the office at first, the nurse was about to measure her head, she was crying. The nurse was rude and impatient. After several attempts, she still could not get the right measurement. She had this expression on her face like she was so bothered… such instances continued…
Dr Asnani should consider change the nurses and the front staffs… they obviously lose patients because of the unprofessional nurses… Because of our experience with the nurses, we will not go back again.

Finally I get a chance to write my review. Let me tell you Dr. Asnani deserves a 10*
In June of 2013 I was in search of Pediatricians for our baby girl who was born on July, 9 2013 and I stumbled on the great reviews of Dr. Asnani. Me and my husband went in to interview her as we did with many other doctors and the minute we exchanged Hello she was hired already in our hearts. We drive to her all the way from the Valley just to see her. She is an amazing, carrying, loving human being you could ever meet. She treats our child just like her own. She is so detailed with everything, she doesn’t rush you, she keeps asking you questions about your child, every day developmental questions and she listens to your needs and your childs needs. We are so blessed to have her. We are expecting another angel on October 23^rd, 2015 and can not wait to take her for her first visit to Dr. Asnani. Our 2 year old is so happy to visit her, unlike other kids cry their eyes out when they see their pediatrician.
And her staff is as nice and friendly as her. All I can say is Thank you Dr. Asnani.

We were recommended by friends to Dr. Asnani’s office to look into getting our daughter’s ears pierced with titanium earrings. They don’t validate parking. Location in wilshire area. Avoid traffic by scheduling appointments in mid day. The appointment was straightforward. It’s been two weeks and our daughter’s ears are healing without redness, infection or discomfort. Thanks!

What an amazing physician! I have never had an experience with a pediatrician like I have with Dr. Asnani. She has such a kind and wonderful demeanor, and really spent so much time with my kids. From helping to calm them down, to addressing all of our issues, to having ACTUAL conversation with them, it was a 5 star experience. The wait time has never been more than 10 minutes each time we’ve gone. Great experience! Make sure you bring cash to pay for the parking.

Because I am a germaphobe, I had anxiety over getting my infant daughter’s ears pierced because I read articles about how hepatitis and other blood born diseases could potentially be spread through the piercing guns used at the mall and jewelry stores and how many piercers don’t follow universal precautions. I also didn’t feel comfortable taking my daughter to a tattoo/​piercing parlor. It was important to me that the place I took my daughter to would be clean and the procedure would be sterile. I love that the procedure is done by an experienced doctor and with a cassette that is disposed of after every use. Dr. Asnani was very cordial and explained the benefit of using the bomdahl medical piercing and the procedure. She was very gentle with my daughter and did a perfect job placing the earrings. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Asnani for piercings.

We came from Oregon just to see her and the trip was worth it.
Dr. Asnani was not only very friendly and professional but most of all gentle and patient with our daughters.
She thoroughly explained and walked us through the entire procedure.
I highly recommend her to any parent who is looking for safe environment for ear piercing or just looking for a great pediatrician!

Dr. Monica Asnani is a wonderful pediatrician. I was in the hospital with my first child and he had a few complications. Not one of the other pediatricians I dealt with over my four days in the hospital bothered to tell me exactly what was going on with my son. Dr. Asnani actually sat down. She explained thoroughly what was happening and the treatment necessary. She was the only doctor who concretely said that they were going to keep him in the hospital after I was to be released because he needed to be treated with antibiotics. Every other doctor hemmed and hawed. Needless to say, I followed Dr. Asnani to her practice. Her bedside manner and her expertise leave a new parent feeling relieved and comfortable. Her attention to detail and the fact that she gets to know you as a parent and a person put you immediately at ease. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who is the entire package.

My family moved to Los Angeles from Alabama so I turned to Unilocal to find our daughter a new pediatrician. I really appreciated the reviews of Dr. Asnani’s ear piercing skills; she did a wonderful job on our daughter’s and that’s the only reason why she’s receiving a 3 star review. Otherwise it would be 2!
Our first appointment went well enough; she came in asked the standard questions. checked my daughter, smiled at her once. I felt as though she was a little condescending, yet my mom, who came to help us settle in to our new place and came to the appointment with me, said that she’s probably just used to speaking with children all day. So I overlooked my bad feeling.
Second appointment my husband took our daughter to see her and get a round of shots. I called him to see how it was going and he experienced pretty much the same thing, except that she basically asked him if he was lying about suctioning our daughter’s nose. She said and I quote «If that’s true, then you’re doing the right thing». EXCUSE ME?! She is very jaded and my husband is a nice guy so he was also trying to give her the benefit of doubt. But I am not having it! She has a cold bedside manner, she talked down to us like we were some teen parents (and I might pardon that because my husband and I do look young);however, you do not talk to people who are paying you, who have chosen to intrust the health of their child to you over all the freaking doctors in La. Talking it over with my husband we came to the realization that our daughter doesn’t even like her anyway.
So sorry Doctor.. . You’re fired!

An amazing doctor and great office. I would recommend to any of my colleagues.

We LOVE Dr. Asnani. Before I talk about Dr Asnani herself, please pay no attention to the reviews about the billing group or those in the office– we have never had a problem and have switched insurances, had issues with our insurance and during one visit, there appeared to be no insurance (?!) and these ladies handled it with ease.
Dr. Asnani has a very warm bedside manner, never making you feel rushed which as a parent is HUGE. She accommodates sick children with ease and the other doctor in her practice is fantastic too. Another huge selling point for us was that she takes all her own after hours calls. This is so important as a parent because she knows us and our son well, and understands his medical history to better recommend next steps. Dr. Asnani is knowledgeable, thorough, honest and friendly– all things you should want in a doctor!
For those wondering about vaccinations, she is great with this too– she believes you are the parent and have ultimate say and while she is a vaccinating doctor, she allows you to determine the schedule on which you vaccinate. There have been occasions where Max was running a fever or had a cold and we held off for a few days and brought him back when he was back to his normal self. She is fine with this as long as you are.
We have recommended her to many friends who have recently had babies and they really love her too!

Dr. Asnani is a truly wonderful pediatrician. We may not be able to stay with her due to insurance changes, and I’m so sad about it! As I’m researching other doctors, I felt compelled to log on and give her the review she is deserving of.
We love her! We really do. She is a kind, conscientious, professional, trustworthy, caring and intelligent woman… who also happens to be a mom, which I personally appreciate very much.
I keep reading about long wait times at other doctor offices… we have never waited more than 5 minutes in the lobby, nor more than 5 minutes once in the exam room. Her staff is sweet, both nurses and reception, and we manage the parking situation… it’s nothing to us, because we are so happy with her.
She takes her time with you, every single time. She asks great questions and is open to hearing your ideas and strategies as a parent. I’ve never felt judged, I’ve never been made to feel stupid. She is a great educator and seems to strike the perfect balance between laid back and on top of it doctor. She always makes me feel relaxed.
We, thank God, have only had to deal with illness ONCE in our daughter’s 2 years of life. We panicked with a high fever and called her emergency line in the middle of the night. She called back within 5 minutes and spent the next several minutes on the phone with us, asking questions, going over options, and generally just being a kick-​ass doctor. I felt so reassured and capable when I hung up the phone. I knew we were all going to be OK, and I knew she was there if we needed her. I was so thankful for her kindness – even at 3 am – and I’ll never forget what a hero she was to our family in that vulnerable and scary moment.
Don’t look any further. She’s really wonderful. I don’t see how it could get any better.

Dr. Asnani is someone special. She’s been taking care of our son since he was born. She was recommended by my midwife, we interviewed her while I was still pregnant, and we loved her.
She is everything you would want in a pediatrician, and we love and respect her. Here’s are only a few reasons why. She’s:
* Smart and knowledgeable. She’s well-​credentialed, knows her stuff, and keeps up with the latest medical developments. I trust her completely.
* Patient. Unlike other doctors, Dr. Asnani will not rush you. She intentionally schedules her appointment longer that most doctors so that you are not rushed and she can answer your questions.
* Kind. She genuinely cares about her patients. When my baby was born, not only did she ask about his progress, but she would always ask how I was doing. When I told her about a problem I had, she went out of her way to connect me with a specialist that could help – even speaking with him directly to get him to fit me into his schedule.
* Accessible. You can reach her with questions/​concerns/​emergencies, even after hours. She responds to emails promptly. She herself answers the emergency calls.
* Respectful. She is easy to talk to, provides guidance, and helps talk you through the parenting decisions you make.
(We found out later than a friend of ours also took her kid to Dr. Asnani, and she loves Dr. Asnani as much as we do!)
We have since moved a 40 minute drive away, but are more than happy to make the drive to see Dr. Asnani. We owe it to our son!

We just took our two year old son to Dr. Bluestone (friggin love that name) this morning for a checkup. He was awesome! His staff was lovely, the rooms were clean and he was so extremely thorough. We love him already! ;)
Four stars because parking was crazy and I got a ticket –_​– note to self, PAY FOR $ 5 PARKING

I called for my cousin’s kid and spoke with the receptionist for an appointment. She was the rudest and careless receptionist ever!
She didn’t even try to help and was very careless over the phone. Imagine the doctor!
Its all about service guys!

Loveeeeeee Dr Asnani :) I took my son to another pediatric for the past five years and decided to step out of the box and try someone new for my newborn son! I’m totally impressed I love how she explains everything and writes it down on a little notepad for me and my husband! I love how gentle she is and how she interacts with my baby … She totally enjoys what she does and it shows! I haven’t got a chance to take my older son here but he will most definitely go when the time is needed. My Ob/​Gyn had Dr Asnani on her list of top pediatrics so I knew it would be a great experience! I would totally give all stars but the parking is pricey and there is street parking but take a bunch of change lol

LA has a lot of pediatricians. So how do you pick a pediatrician? I hope you don’t have to go through the long extended process that we did before we came to Dr. Asnani. We were at another practice, and had to use multiple pediatricians due to insurance foibles. Now we are finally at, and very happy with, Dr. Asnani.
Dr. Asnani is an amazing pediatrian. The few (knock on wood) times that my kids have fallen sick, she has returned weekend and late night emergency calls promptly (within 15 – 30 minutes of calling the emergency number). She calmly assessed the situation and took care of it. In one instance she asked us to come to her home on a weekend so she could see my child.
Dr. Asnani sees the kids when they are healthy and have come for checkups, and when they are sick. This is in contrast with other practices that see one doctor for wellbaby/​well-​child and another when the child is sick.
One of the things I really like about her is that she takes the time to talk to you, to figure out what your concerns are, and helps allay them. She can also be insistent when she has to, she is no pushover. My kids love her and trust her.
I totally recommend Dr. Asnani and therefore I am giving her five stars.
