Kim is an investment professional who has been working in the securities industry for over 18 years as a stockbroker. Kim hosted various seminars and workshops. In addition, he had hosted «Today’s Market» at KBS America, and had co-​anchored LA18 Prime News Section of «Stock Market Weekly». Kim had also written weekly Stock Market Column for Koreana News for over 15 years. Currently, he hosts a daily program called «Jaehwan Kim’s Stock Briefing» at JTBC America Soojongtv. Also, he is co-​anchor of the weekly program called «Stock Market Weekly» at tvk 24. Kim is running commentary of «Today’s Stock Market» at Radio Korea. He is one of the well-​known and well-​recognized figures in Korean communities.
