solid spot. glad to have found it in that it’s pretty central to where all my band members live. super affordable, clean, they had everything we needed. we used one of the smaller rooms. room D i think. everything was very straight-​forward. i booked last minute and they had space. wade, the guy at the front desk is very easy-​going and professional. i was super scatter-​brained that day: i’d forgotten my charts and wade was kind enough to allow me to print some from his computer, which he so did not have to do. i’d forgotten my debit card (who does that?), and fortunately my husband was able to call in the info by phone. wade maintained his chill the entire time, making it that much easier for me to just focus on the music despite my many blunders that day. thanks wade!
my only con is that you can sometimes hear the other bands rehearsing pretty loudly, depending on who’s in there that day, which is normal i guess. but my music is way mellow, so it was a little disconcerting a couple of times to hear the band rocking the hell out next door, but once we were in our groove, it was cool. this is my new rehearsal spot for sure.

This is the best rehearsal space I’ve come across in LA. Best sound, most in-​shape gear, nice and accommodating folks, decent price. I like that it’s not a huge warehouse full of noise, as well. Just four sweet rooms.

I tried this place out after researching rehearsal studios on Unilocal and I have to say I am really glad I did. Convenient location right off the 5 freeway. Great staff, rooms, and equipment! Rehearsed in room A and it was clean, the tech helped us get everything set up and the PA was really good. Nice isolation too so you can’t hear the band in the next room. Really glad I found this place!

Very professional and easy to deal with. Affordable, and a great place to practice. I’ve had zero problems with equipment. The staff is nice, too.

It’s close to me, the staff are super chill and helpful. Rooms sound good. They can get a little warm if you don’t ask for the AC to be turned on.

Best rehearsal place in LA. Could it be better? Maybe, but it is the best in La. Better than Bedrock and AMP that’s for sure.

Xlnt place for practicing. Rooms are soundproof well and the rates are good. Cool atmosphere.

What a gem! I’ve rehearsed at just about all of the rehearsal studios in the LA area and this one is my current favorite. Great deals and really decent equipment that comes with the room. Stuff you wouldn’t be ashamed to use. Clean, modern vibe. Individual A/​C units in each room, and prices that actually let you rehearse instead of rushing in and out as quickly as you can to save dough.
It doesn’t have the biggest rooms, but they’re not small either. You’ll probably want to stick to SIR or something if you have a huge production, but for most bands this place is perfect.
Oh, and I forgot to mention: you can book your session online right from their website.

One of the best rehearsal places in the area.
A while ago my band was jumping from one rehearsal space to another, constantly being upset and irritated by crappy service, terrible or inconsistent backline, shady neighborhoods, or lack of parking. We then found out about Atwater Deluxe and we decided to give it a shot.
When the guitarist of our band, the one that normally books the rehearsal spaces, told the manager of Atwater Deluxe of our previous rehearsal studio woes, he reassured us that we would look no more after playing here. And he was right.
While you may not realize it is a full rehearsal studio on the outside, once you walk in, it is a whole different story. Hardwood floors, clean, well-​lit. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Stocked with water, strings, picks, snacks, and all other things you may need. And I think they may hook you up with a PBR in the back if you talk to them nicely. ;)
They really did their homework when setting up this place. You can barely hear the other bands, the acoustics are well set up. The place looks and feels classy, and the backline has been *consistently* great, with great gear to boot. Of course if you have any questions, they are so happy to help set anything up. Extra mics, cables, stands. They even have a few music stands if you so need them.
Even the caliber of musicians and bands that come to practice here are good. Back in the days of jumping from one terrible practice space to another, we ran the gamut of overhearing terrible bands. Here, it’s soundproofed well, but if you are close the rooms, sometimes you can hear a really grooving beat.
Street parking is easy, and it’s easily accessible from the 5 freeway. Even the sleazy strip club that was once across the street is now gone. They even make it easy to pay, when you can split up the total fees by band member so individual members can even elect to pay by credit card for their portion of practice fees (and, they accept AmEx!).
It’s a little pricier than other seedy practice spaces, but with all of the above amenities, it’s totally worth it! :)

EXCELLENT sound-​proofing — easily the best out of the 6 studios around LA that I’ve rehearsed in. Air-​conditioning is effective, facility is clean, booking is WAY easy if you do it online, and the equipment is top notch.
The only drawback, if there were to be one, would be that parking can be difficult if it gets busy in nearby areas or if you happened to pick a popular rehearsal time. That is no fault of the studio, however.
It costs the same as about every other studio but considering the quality of the experience, it’s a great deal.
Highly recommended. I hope this place stays open for decades to come.

I LOVE this place. The people that run it are REALLY nice, excellent sound-​proofed rooms, the equipment is great and it’s very, very clean. I’m a drummer and it’s so nice to practice at a place where none of the cymbal stands are broken… A killer deal in a great location. My absolute favorite rehearsal space in LA and believe me, I’ve been to them all…

Finally… a rehearsal studio where you can’t hear the other bands! Clean, the gear actually works, and it’s easy to find parking, either on the street or in the back.

Early last week I reserved 3 hours for last week Thursday night and the whole experience was great! It’s clean, excellent equipment, and extremely professional. Couldn’t ask for anything better!!! The people that work there are super nice and knowledgeable, which is a plus in my book. SUPERB SERVICE for the hard earned dollar of a musician!!! This was the best rehearsal studio I’ve ever played in!!!
