Dr. Yoon completed her orthodontic and pediatric dentistry residencies at UCLA, the nation’s pre-​eminent program of its type. Also Dr. Yoon earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science degree with honors. Upon completion of her dual specialty degrees, Dr. Yoon was invited to join UCLA as a Clinical Faculty member.

Using state-​of-​the-​art technology, Dr. Yoon is committed to achieving clinical excellence. She is an Invisalign ELITE provider, which is only bestowed to the top 1% of Invisalign doctors. She is one of few orthodontists in the nation performing the ‘Surgery-​first approach’ for orthognathic surgeries. Her field of expertise includes the utilization of orthodontic mini-​implants to minimize orthognathic surgery and maximize esthetics. She is a collaborative researcher at Stanford Medical Sleep Center and has developed pioneering distraction osteogenesis technique for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. She is also an expert in customized sleep oral appliances for adults and early interceptive orthodontics in children.

As a mother and a wife, Dr. Yoon is a firm believer in strong family core values. She carries this philosophy into her practice, giving her patients the care and attention they deserve just like a part of her family.
