Bank of America

I have custodian accounts and the Vice President Financial Center Manager Sossy Semerdjian said I cant deposit because it is not the same accounts. I called the banker who opened the account, she said every thing is correct and the check is also correct. She suggested me to change a different branch to do business.
I only get fax number from legal department, and will fax everything over to get some advice as this is the second time Ms Semerdjian rejected my deposits.

Slow slow slow!!! Horrible customer service. Hope they close this location down soon, or get new management and tellers.

How childish is this branch? First they hire a security guard to «scare» off people that park to go to boba time. Now they lock up the parking whenever they are closed. That mean you’re out of luck if you want to make a quick deposit or withdraw. Thanks bofa I won’t be going to this branch anytime soon, plus the Glendale one has a drive thru.

Employees are rude at this location. I was told off to not ever park in their parking lot if I’m going to the boba spot which is understandable but crazy part is that I was just in the bank as a customer! I can see that it can be a problem but why the fuck would you tell me not to park there ever if I’m going to be doing some banking? They could have easily told me not to do it next time but the employee insisted to not park at their parking lot if I’m going to use both their ATMs/​bank and the boba spot. I’ll make sure everyone I know who has BoA not go here.

Their parking lot probably holds 50 spaces and is locked and closed on Sunday basically making it impossible for us to use their ATM. We just drove around the block three times — no parking spots available within reasonable distance and we went to another branch. Very bad customer experience due to the locked parking lot.

I love this branch. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Parking is very convenient. I would strongly recommend this branch to anyone.

When I was a BofA member I preferred not coming here. Now as a non member with a work check from BOfA; it’s even more unpleasant. When I walked I I asked the lady at the desks to the left; coming in from parking lot. She said all I would need would be 1 or maybe 2 forms of ID to change a check with out an account. I thought I would ask first what the process was and if it was worth the trouble. The young lady at the counter asked me for my iD and I gave it to her. She then cashed my check and wanted to give me less than what was paid to me. I said no, where is it written that you charge for changing your own checks. She didn’t have an answer other than to say, «
I thought you knew» and again I said where is it written.
She said my work is charging me to change it and I said that if I can have a receipt explicitly saying what the fee is for then I’d take it. She couldn’t provide that she could only give me a «receipt» that said $ 5.00
So I said if you’d explain that then I wouldn’t have agreed because this receipt is not acceptable.
Now my check has markings all on it that it’s been cashed.
She said she reversed it but we’ll see if I have any trouble changing it elsewhere.
She was offended and said she wouldn’t charge me anything she wasn’t supposed to and my response was why don’t you inform people BEFORE you surprise them.
I told her that this is exactly why I left BofA (hidden charges) and that I’m not surprised.
More surprised that I thought changing a BofA check would be okay. Especially after I asked the lady at the desk what the requirements and process was.

Really BA? First word from your teller is I don’t think I can deposit your check? without verifying first? Mind you it is a Bank of America check as well that I am trying to deposit. If BA won’t even recognize a check issued by their own Institution then there is absolutely something wrong with their business. I hate wasting time especially if its due to employee incompetence, after an unsecured vestibule that they seem to ignore especially for after hours transaction, and then this, I think I will be taking my business some place else…
.and oh. The teller asked me where do I want to deposit the check after she finally asked her superior in which I said to my checking yet still she deposited it in my savings. Oh Lordie… This branch is hopeless.

It seriously never fails, there is always one or two ATM machines that never work. Either they don’t accept cash, don’t accept your checks, or they can’t print your receipts. They need to be fixed! Also, the parking lot is a nightmare. Ugh.

oh, and if you bring in over $ 100 in change they send it out to be counted which takes 10 days. so even with a $ 12 monthly checking account fee this bank still can’t afford a coin counter on the premises.

Walked in to this bank to help resolve an issue. The staff was amazing very friendly. The personal baker Erica M. was more then just helpful. Went out of her way to make sure our issue was solved before we left the bank. Next time you visit this branch ask for Erica M. personal banker.

Is it just me or does it smell like fish in here? Other than that, the tellers are very sweet and attentive.

I have to come to this bank to drop off our bank deposit/​get change for work on a regular basis. Every time I come I am treated very nicely, lines run smoothly, and I am taken care of promptly and efficiently. Minus one star because the parking is kinda crappy.

This review is not for Bank of America as a company, it’s only for my experience at this branch.
I decided to try to start the whole scary process of getting a first time home buyer loan. I scheduled an appointment with Dareh.
*Side note, don’t call the phone number listed on Unilocal,find the actual branch number online. That phone number will only lead you to driving yourself crazy and then having someone tell you they can’t transfer you to a local branch.
Anyway, Dareh explained everything in a way that was super easy to understand. He was very friendly and treated me like a valuable customer. I learned a ton about how loans work and walked away with a pre-​approval letter.
When I needed a change to the letter, he called me back within 10 minutes of me leaving a message on his cell phone.
If you want someone who can walk you through the scary home loan process then go to Dareh. He is the best experience I have had with a bank in years, if not ever.

Parking is ok unless you come during lunch time or right before closing. Good luck to you then. There are 4 ATMS inside. The tellers range from helpful to brusque. It makes me wish my credit union was closer. Parking is adequate.

I’m not a regular B of A customer. I don’t necessarily recommend Bank of America for checking or credit card accounts.

I’m very disappointed in the loan officer who was very slow to move on issuing me an updated pre-​qual. He cost me the opportunity to submit a complete purchase order in time.
He had been very friendly & helpful, but I left voicemail messages, left emails, and came by the branch in person and asked that ANY loan officer get in touch with me. I never heard back. The house I was trying to bid on sold two weeks after I first asked him to update my pre-​qual for this house. He never did get back to me. Maybe there’s some great explanation/​excuse, but several weeks later I still haven’t heard from anyone.
I switched to another lender that had my pre-​qual issued within an hour.

Oh My Goodness… where do I even start…
This review is actually specifically for a certain teller. Her name is Aznitov? or something like that. She’s an old Armenian woman who works at the teller, and let me tell you this was the rudest person I’ve ever come across with in a professional setting. This is a bank right? I thought tellers were supposed to be nice and help out with customer’s needs. Anyways this was my day today:
Today after work I went to Bank of America to cash one of my work’s paycheck. I went up to the teller (this mean lady) and this is how the conversation goes:
Teller: How can I help you?
Me: Hi, I came here to cash this paycheck but I don’t have an account here.
Teller: Then why don’t you open one?
Me: I actually do want to open one but I don’t have time today I have to go to work in 15 minutes
Teller: You should’ve opened an account with us before then.
Me: Well I didn’t want an account before, but like I told you I am opening one, hopefully I have time tomorrow.
Teller: Well next time something like this happens you should come earlier so you can open an account
Me: Look. I work 2 jobs, I didn’t have time to come earlier.
Teller: Well since you don’t have an account I have to charge you $ 5 to cash this check.
Me: Ok well is there a way you can waive the fee? Since I’ll be back tomorrow to open an account.
Teller: No! It’s impossible, the computer says you don’t have an account so you pay $ 5, there’s nothing I can do. (and she laughs)
*At this point I wanted to ask for the supervisor/​manager of this branch, but lucky for her I didn’t have time!*
Me: Well I’m sure you can do something or I know your supervisor will be happy to assist me.
Teller: Look. do you want to cash this check or not? Because there’s a line of customers behind you.
*At this point I grabbed my check my ID and just left*
Ok. it’s not like she cussed at me, but seriously? Is this really okay? Am I overexaggerating? I thought bank tellers are supposed to be super nice. Maybe I’m so used to the customer service over at WELLS FARGO and how nice and kind and helpful they are. That’s why I bank with Wells Fargo, or Chase. People are just so nice and they ask me about my day and all. But this lady seemed like she was on her period or mid-​life crisis or something. but seriously. don’t take it out on your potential customers! Is this the treatment people get when they don’t have an account at bank of america? I even told her I was going to open one! Just not today! I seriously didn’t have the freaking time ! Ugh this Unilocal review is turning into a venting session, but it’s helping! I feel a lot better now lol.
I really wanted to resolve this with the branch manager but like I said, I didn’t have time, but if I did, I would’ve totally put her on the spot and make her apologize to me.
I am so disappointed with this branch for having a teller like her. We need happy and nice tellers. Ok well enough said, Im hungry

Review update, their ATM recently ate $ 500 cash of my money.
The reason they told me it happened was because I had some old $ 100 bills in the mix.
I have E-​banking, which means I do everything at the ATM and have to pay a fee to use the teller. Because of this, they told me to try the ATM deposit again with my remaining $ 1700, even after I pointed out to them that there were more old $ 100s. I asked if they could waive my teller fee, which they’ve done before when the ATMs weren’t cooperating, but the manager told me it is impossible for them to do that.
I ended up solving my own problem by depositing into my old college account then transferring through the teller (which was free, even though it was just more steps for them to literally do the same thing).
My question is this — why can’t the ATM read old bills? We’re not talking 1800’s bills, we’re talking about bills that were in circulation 10 years ago only!
Their ATMS always fail. :(

The parking lot can be a bear. This place gets a lot of business so it might not be the best option if you are in a hurry. The ATMs are all located inside (is that any indication of the neighborhood?) and there are no drive up ATMs. Aside from that, the tellers tend to be very pleasant and helpful.
