The «beauty salon» in the name is misleading; I suppose a woman could get her hair done here, but she’d undoubtedly choose another spot. This is a classic, old school, capital B barber shop, with reasonable prices and four or five blue-​aproned peluqueros on hand to make you look your best for that big Friday date.
There are a couple of caveats you should know about.
(1) You might have to wait. These guys are good, and the barber shop has a following. Expect to find a crowd here on weekends.
(2) If your Spanish is marginal, I’d look elsewhere. Sorry. Specifying how you want your hair cut is one of those times when you want to be reaaall sure your listener understands what you want.
