Had a chance to try the food truck sometime last week with a friend. After hearing great reviews from others about belly bombz I was excited to try it! I also heard they have a restaurant located in Artesia with an expanded menu. Next time I we definitely make a pit stop when I’m in the area. First things first the people working the truck were extremely friendly and accommodating. One of the workers went thru their menu with me as it was our first times. My friend ordered their boneless moms recipe wings and I had ordered the chicken sliders. The pan seared chicken sliders were delicious. The red picked onion and fried shallots went very well with the chicken. I fell in love! My friend’s boneless wings were juicy and flavorful. The moms recipe had a sweet tangy flavor, definitely something worth trying. I have never tried such flavors. After trying some of their food I am 100% I’ll be back. They had other things on the menu I want to try!

The 50⁄50 sliders were good. Wings were ok; average at best. The fries w/Parmesan were ok; more like shoestring fries. Overall ok, but nothing to write home to mom about. The dude taking orders had somewhat of an attitude; like he was pissed to be working on Sunday.

Today was the first time I saw this truck at the Lunch at the Arts in Redondo Beach so I had to try it. It was the only truck that had a line, but I soon found out why — because the line didn’t move! We waited close to 30 min to order. Right after I ordered they told my friend he had to wait while they got caught up on orders. Between the 3 of us, we ordered bomb dust, firecracker, and sriracha lime boneless wings.(They charge .50 if you make your order half and half). All were really tasty, and I honestly can’t decide which of the three flavors I liked best. Unfortunately the bomb dust wings were overcooked and the chicken was really really dry. Slow service, and overcooked chicken. But I’m giving 4 stars because I am looking forward to trying this truck again.

GREASIEST, MOSTBLAND«CHICKEN» WINGSEVER! Blehhh! I remember it now, about to bite in to some delicious looking Parmesan garlic boneless wings, only to be utterly disappointed. Don’t let the looks fool you. These mystery meat boneless wings were so tasteless! No flavor whatsoever! And all the spices in the world wouldn’t help or be able absorb all the oil they had! Truly terrible and to think people are lining up for this junk! Never again.

My friends and I decided to try their firecracker boneless wings while we were at the tall ships festival LA for the art display of the huge Rubber Duck. The truck looked promising since there weren’t any other food trucks making fried hot wings. The boneless chicken wings were greasy and left my stomach feeling more queasy than satisfied. The batter they used was kind of heavy and the sauce on the wings was more sweet than spicy. The slaw on the side was okay though. I would’ve given this truck 2 stars for the food, but the interaction with the cashier took a star away. After we ordered the firecracker boneless wings, we started talking to to cashier named Ashley. She noticed I bought one of the souvenir rubber ducks of the huge art display. I bought one since I saw a lot of my friends visiting the duck while it was in Taiwan and was really excited to see it in person. The cashier criticized the fact the duck was so expensive and started babbling on about how it was a crime and how she can’t believe people would spend so much $$ on a souvenir duck. That really turned me off since I just bought from her business then got criticized for spending $$ on something not even related to her. I definitely wouldn’t eat at this truck again. Save my $$ on better food and better customer service.
The bacon fried rice with egg is my go-to item here. Not very healthy by any means, but the fried rice is great to satisfy your salt cravings. One order will cost $ 5, and is one of the best-value items on their menu. The mix of rice, green onions and bean sprouts mix perfectly with the gooey egg and chunks of thick bacon. It also comes with a side of hot sauce that will give it a good kick. Only disappointing thing is that the truck sometimes stops serving food early. I usually go to this truck in downtown LA, and although they advertise their time as 11 – 2, the servers have stopped taking orders as early as 1:20 or 1:30. Overall, this truck satisfies my fried rice cravings without having to walk to grand central market or panda.

The fire cracker wings are so sweet and yummy they have a slight kick to them but not spicy at all. The coleslaw on the side really brings the plate together and provides texture and freshness. The wings are perfectly seasoned, tender and crispy. They’re sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. This review is for their service at Narbonne High school in Harbor City on Thursday nights.

I frigging love wings– saucy ones, dry ones, ones with dip, ones without bones. However it is, LOVE them! So when I saw that Belly Bombz was at my work place. woohoo! I’ve been to an event where they were catering. I’ve had their firecracker sauce — mmm sweet and a bit of kick. It’s just like me. haha ;) i should get something different, but what can I say, creature of habit. Twice fried, saucy, deliciouso! There’s a slaw with dressing that comes with it. I had ordered garlic thyme fries plus Parmesan cheese($ 1 extra, but they forgot to put it on :(It was a combo = 6 wings, 2 sliders, or 8 boneless wings + fries(garlic + thyme or belly dust) or bacon fried rice and a soda. I’m a little disappointed that they forgot my cheese(THAT I PAIDFOR) on my fries. I cry a little :(

Easily the best chicken wings I’ve ever had. I think they made an exception for me and allowed me to get an order of half firecracker & half soy wings. The wings were crispy and perfectly seasoned, and I’m pretty sure I will never be able to eat the generic buffalo style nastiness that passes for wings at your typical sports bar again.

I got the 50⁄50 slider they had on special menu on Thu and it was so good, I got it again that following Tue. Great service and slider was juicy and my fiancé and I practically in hailed it. Oh and I love the garlic thyme fries! Fries are crispy, just the way I like it! If you are lucky enough to see the 50⁄50 on the menu, get it!!! Will not disappoint you.

Mom’s recipe wings — lightly crisp, perfectly balanced sweet and hot sauce with nice coleslaw to balance. Very creative bacon fried rice — crunchy bean sprouts, thick crispy bacon, not overpowering, not greasy. Next time: dry rub wings, sliders!
