Best Buy Neon Signs

Just picked up my new neon sign, and what a great first time neon buying experience. Eddie was super nice and quite helpful answering all the questions I had before I placed my order. The price was the same as the initial quote he had given me and my deadline was met right on time. Who knew neon signs could be so affordable? And make so quickly. Great job dudes.

I first became interested in neon signs when I saw a beautiful one mounted above a bed on a décor page on Instagram. I went in search of where to find one and they best I found was on Etsy. But they were kind of pricey and I wasn’t set on any of them. That’s when I decided to design my own.
I found Best Neon to be well, the best. The photos they had showed the level of detail I was looking for. I made a line drawing of what I wanted and the sign came out even better than I had hoped! It took a little over a week to make and the price was way better than anything on Etsy. I’m already brainstorming what I want to make best!

I ordered a custom neon sign for my husband’s birthday. When I first called, Eddie was super nice and efficient; because I had no knowledge of neon signs, he had to explain everything to me but he was very patient and designed the way I imagined. The sign came out so cool and my husband said it was the best present ever! It was a really big sign so I went to pick it up from one of the shops and they tested the sign carefully right there and helped me load it in my car.
I was really fortunate to find Eddie and learned a little bit of neon signs. Now I can’t wait to make another custom sign from his shop.

I ordered my custom neon sign a few weeks ago. I was able to pick it up today and couldn’t be more happy with it. I turned out great. Eddie was so helpful and responded to all my emails very quickly. When I called to see if my sign was ready to be picked up the lady you answered the phone told me she would call me back and within minutes did and mentioned when I could come get it. I needed a custom neon sign for a last minute shoot. After reading the great reviews for Best Buy Neon Signs I gave Eddie a call. He was so kind and helpful over the phone and guided me through the process of preparing the artwork for the sign. He provided helpful links and photos to help me choose a backing. I even had to change the backing option at the last minute and it was no problem. Impeccable craftsmanship and wonderful customer service. I would definitely work with Best Buy Neon Signs again in the future!

We were prepared to buy a neon sign today for our company, but were having issues getting approvals from all the necessary people. I got a call and an email from Eddie Takahashi saying that he had cancelled our order because we had missed out deadline. I asked if we could hold off a moment as I got the correct approvals and he emailed to say he didn’t want to work with us. Then when we called to discuss a less intense delivery schedule, he screamed at us on the phone. Everyone has a bad day, I totally get it. But this guy is unprofessional and completely unpleasant. We pulled the order and went somewhere else. There was no reason for anyone to be so upset and scream at people.

My review is LONG overdue…
I ordered a custom sign from Best Buy Signs as one of my husband’s Xmas pressies in 2013. Eddie was easy to deal with. He understood what I wanted and worked with me using pictures we sent back and forth via email to ensure the design I provided him was correct and to spec size needed.
Through the quick order process, Eddie explained some neon facts (like brightness of certain colors and how combos of colors can turn out) and made suggestions to help me get the custom design perfected without things like the power box being in the way and by adding specific molded acrylic on the back for better support.
Unfortunately, I cannot post the image because I asked the team to create a «play on» a design that probably has a copyright — and while the item is strictly for personal use, I would not risk getting the team in trouble in any way. But please be assured the neon sign turned out awesome looks just like what was requested and was made to the specified size.
When i picked up the sign from the Eagle Rock-​area shop, the guys were really busy working on lots of neon projects — but they stopped what they were doing to show me the sign, plug it in, politely answer my questions and send me, the happy customer, on my way.
–Sign is approx. 15″ x 48″ white and dark blue.
–Timing took about 12 days from first email to completion of project.
–Though I had not purchased a neon sign before, pricing seems fair and probably less than others in the area
–Quality craftsmanship
My husband loved his gift and it looks awesome in our cinema room.

I would seriously give these guys 10 stars if I could. Eddie was quick to respond and super easy to communicate with. He sent us a quote and mock-​up in less than one day, and delivered a completely custom sign in less than a week for an unbeatable price. I would highly suggest them to anyone looking for a neon sign.

Just had a custom sign made for a christmas gift and couldn’t be more pleased.
It came out great and sooner than I expected. Eddie was very responsive to all of my emails and phone calls. I would definitely recommend this place and I’ll be using them again for my next neon sign. I’d shopped around online but was glad to find a local place that just happened to be 5 minutes from my house, bonus!

The owner explained the process and how I can customize my sign and literally make anything i want. I wanted to make something special for a birthday and was allowed to!

Being a graphic designer and artist, I am always looking for new mediums for clients. Neon signs have been around forever but am loving the nostalgic nature of the art married with contemporary graphics. The owner explained all the different type of neon so thoroughly I found the perfect sign for my higher end clients. A few more dollars then the more accessible stock signs, but the personalization and quality I got from Best Buy Neon Signs was absolutely worth it. Los Angeles based local company too! Am always happier to work locally!
