I’ve been meaning to review them for a while– while they did show up and clean the carpets, those carpets stayed wet for a good SEVERAL DAYS. I had fans all over the place going 24 – 7 and always have a no-​shoes policy, but this was ridiculous. What’s worse is that the «crew» of 2 told me my apt was so tiny & carpets were already pretty clean, so it would take way less time than estimated. When I asked them to work on 2 areas that did have spot-​stains, they insisted that the area was clean and it would look better after drying. I asked them again before they left and they insisted it was fine. Then actually ASKED FOR A TIP. I was a bit taken aback, considering they didn’t actually do what I asked even though they had all this «extra time» since the square footage was smaller and apt was cleaner than they’d expected.
Pretty careless and really disappointing. I’ll go somewhere else next time.

Bought a deal for this company thru Living Social. When we went to schedule the appointment we were NEVER contacted by a person. Initial contact can only be made thru their website, they send you a questionnaire and then you don’t hear from them. My husband called them TWICE to try and speak to a person, but only got an answering service. THAT is not customer service to me and I don’t want someone in my house who provides no customer service and can’t even return a call. I asked for a refund from Living Social and wouldn’t do business w/​them now under any circumstances. I work hard for my money and if someone wants some of it, they better earn it too!

These guys were fantastic! I will use them again for future carpet cleanings. Craig was very friendly and upbeat, as was his assistant, Shawn. Like many other Unilocalers, I bought a deal on Living Social. I bought my deal back in February but I had to reschedule MULTIPLE times. Each time I rescheduled the receptionist was gracious and polite (I think her name was Melissa or Melinda?). An email with the new appointment details was sent to me each time I had to reschedule. I read one of the emails closely and it stated that for carpet cleaning you have to allow a 1 – 2 hour window for their arrival time. My appointment was for 11am and I was grateful that they arrived shortly after.
A week ago, I extended them the same patience and courtesy they had given me when they called and said the machine had clogged up and that they couldn’t come. I appreciated that they called me SEVERAL hours before our scheduled appointment that day because it would have been a total nightmare if I had moved all of the furniture already.
My carpet looks great! Craig showed me the Eco-​friendly products they use for cleaning, and also made a suggestion for another carpet cleaning product. They were on time and were finished in an hour. I had 3 rooms completed and in each one a diamond pattern was present in the carpet. Apparently this helps with the drying process, but it looked like OCD Heaven to me!

I bought a groupon for carpet cleaning to give it to my sis questionnaire ter for her new apartment. She called and schedule and appointment they came in the next day and she was extremly happy with the results. I on the other hand have my inlaws visiting me last minute for the summer I called them on Friday filled out a they called me after I emailed it back, set up the appointment for today. A young man came in very friendly by the way he did all 3 rooms my hallway and my walk-​in closet. I had really bad stains and had to pay extra but it was well worth it… now I can happily say welcome to my inlaws… I am extremely happy with my non stained carpet.

Basically, I was quoted a certain amount after talking to the lady and breaking down exactly what I wanted cleaned. We literally said this much for this section, this much for that section until we covered every part of my house.
On the day of the cleaning, I was out of the state, so I sent my uncle to let them in. The technician came and claimed that I didn’t pay for the amount of work he needed to do. He said he needed to charge more, and when my uncle said I wouldn’t agree to that, he left the job uncompleted, which would’ve been fine (completely crappy, but fine) since I could work out the details with the company after, but this company had the audacity to charge me an unauthorized $ 100+ over the agreed price in addition to leaving the job uncompleted.
I didn’t even receive any receipt or work order form.
This is completely unacceptable. They prelude all their calls saying that the call is recorded and I know my quote was logged into the computer, because another lady had no problem finding my quoted price, so what was the problem? How could the technician not know what to expect since they told me they needed to specifically schedule me for a longer cleaning than usual? How could the person the technician called to complain not know that I paid the agreed price if every interaction was logged?
This is outrageous, and quite frankly, unprofessional.
I’ve contacted them about the problem now that I’m back in the state, so I guess we’ll see how they make this up to me.

Angel House-​cleaner or Best Coast Carpet Solutions, this company and their customer service is a joke.
I bought a voucher from Amazon Local and when I called to set up the appointment I was asked for a credit card also, for additional solution for stains. I obliged and gave them the info because I really wanted my carpet cleaned. Today was my appointment, it was set for 10am, although I did not receive a call until about 11am. They were calling to let me know that the technicians were running late, because they had to go back to the office and get a new machine due to the previous job.
Now this is the kicker… I can honestly say that I do not live in a really bad neighborhood, although I am around the Crenshaw /​Slauson area, I have no problems here. At about 11:51am I received a call from the office telling me that the technicians arrived and left my residence. I was told that they checked the electrical and they determined their machine would blow the circuit if used, now this is a surprise to me because in order to check my electrical imput, you would have to come into the gate of my apartment and look at the outlet directly outside my place. So this is LIE #1…
Also she says the technicians claim there were a lot of people outside and they feared for their safety… at 10am in the morning… Although they and I had record via email, that they would come into the apartment parking. So this is LIE #2.
She then tells me that she will either get another team to try and come out or I would just have to call Amazon and get a refund. Lastly, when I went into my account to get the number to call Amazon, the company had marked my voucher as «USED» LIE # 3.
I called Amazon and they were extremely apologetic and was baffled by the company’s lack of customer service and service period, they then gave me a refund.
This company is ridiculous, do not waste your time or money.

Very terrible company, used them a wile ago, they were supposed to be at my place afternoon but they showed up around 4.30 pm. And they did very bad job with cleaning. Also Charged me more than estimated. Terrible customer service

Funny to read the reviews below and hear the same excuse they gave me today. «Their van broke down and it’s going to take a while to fix. THEY need to reschedule».
And they call to tell me this after they were already 30 minutes late. So, you take off of work, move all of your furniture and are waiting for the carpet cleaners– only to have them tell you they aren’t coming today because their van broke down. Looks like this is their go-​to excuse from what I can tell on Unilocal.I tell her that this is unacceptable and to send another crew/​van, and she says they can’t. Then I ask if they can come first thing tomorrow and she says she’ll call me back. I am still waiting… If you have an empty house and your furniture on the lawn, you don’t have hours to wait to see if they can help you. Sorry but you guys are horrible!
I don’t know how good they are at cleaning carpets, but their customer service is the worst.
I should also mention this was a Living Social special, and when I went to ask for a refund, Best Coast had already redeemed it (when i made the appointment), so that throws a wrench into getting a refund. Thanks guys! Why don’t you redeem it after you actually show up to do the work?

Amazing customer service and quick response time. Paying the extra money is worth it to have good service. If they do as good on the cleaning, I’ll be writing a positive review}

I bought a Groupon for carpet cleaning on ³⁄₃₀. With two cats and a dog, our carpets needed some love, and the $ 49 Groupon seemed like a great deal. I called that day to schedule my appointment and was asked for a credit card. I was surprised that there would be additional fees, and was told that if there are extensive stains the additional charge would range from $ 5 – 55. This blew me away, since I’ve never used a Groupon with hidden fees before. I had to call them back with my card info, so we got off the phone.
I called and left a message an hour later, and sent an email the following morning, but nobody returned my messages. I called them in the early afternoon that day and spoke to the same person. I had given her my Groupon number and my credit card number but told her 1) I wasn’t happy there were hidden fees because that seems shifty and 2) I did not want my card to be charged unless I gave explicit permission to the company to do so. Not crazy. At this point she started talking over me and interrupting a lot, and she wouldn’t book my appointment. She said it sounded like I wasn’t going to let the tech do his job and that I would be best off returning my Groupon. I tried to explain I had no problem with him doing his job or paying extra fees as long as I gave perm to do so, but she wouldn’t listen.
I asked to speak with a supervisor but was told the supervisor wasn’t in. I asked to speak with that person’s supervisor and was told that person never comes in. I asked to speak with a coworker but was told they were all busy. I was so frustrated at this point I just asked for confirmation in writing that the company wouldn’t book my appointment and hung up.
This chick texted me. TEXT! Not even an email. She just repeated what she said on the phone and wouldn’t provide me the number of her supervisor when I asked. At this point I tried to refund the Groupon but I couldn’t because THE COMPANY HAD MARKED IT REDEEMED! I was livid at this point.
I got an email that was just a transcription of our text messages (duh, I have that, thanks for nothing) and was told the Groupon was marked redeemed because they had to do that to book my appointment. I explained that still makes no sense since they never booked one for me. I was then told that someone at their company (no name given) was talking to Groupon explaining this was their fault, but when I asked for the name of the person who spoke to Groupon, who at Groupon they spoke to, and the outcome of the conversation, I got nothing.
Groupon was great with this — they immediately refunded my money into Groupon bucks so I don’t have to deal with this.
But bottom line — this company is not worth your time. Horrible business practice and terrible customer service. Save yourself a headache.

Fun Fact: Once this review was posted, the company got in touch with me to harass me for my review. I had to explicitly ask for them to not contact me to get them to stop.

My review is for working with the business. I never got my carpets actually cleaned because they first had a van break down and the second time were more than 30 minutes late and did not call. When they finally showed up we had someplace else to be. Both times, we had no notice of delays and had to time our day around getting everything off the carpets, being out of the house for 4 hours so the carpets could dry — all wit the child. Not an easy task. When they were late and asked them why they didn’t inform us — I got hung up on by the technician! I am sure they clean carpets well but they know nothing about customer service. BTW they utilize a google chat number, do not try to reply to that as they will not respond.

They were an hour early and did a decent job despite the stains i had. I have a white carpet and it was a tough job for them. But they were open to going over heavily stained areas several times.
If I’m to give a full and honest review, My only gripe would be that their working relationship needs a little more polish.
But in terms of total outcome of service, 5 stars.

Like Patrick L, we bought a LivingSocial deal for these guys. HUGE waste of money. You get what you pay for I guess! We left them 6 (Yup, you read that right: SIX!) voicemails and never got one return call. We emailed them and got no response email. Finally I called in early one morning last week and got someone on the phone.
What TERRIBLE customer service. I told the woman who answered the phone that I had a LivingSocial deal and she promptly set the phone down and didn’t return until almost two minutes later. What was she doing during that time, you might wonder? Well, she was talking with someone else, naturally! (she must have been on her cell because I could only hear one side of the conversation) What was she talking about? Well, she was talking about LUNCH, of course! I could hardly believe my ears. It took me MONTHS to get these guys on the phone and when I finally do, they have more important things to do than provide the service I paid for… they’d rather talk about food.
I should have canceled my LivingSocial voucher right then and there, but foolishly I scheduled the appointment anyway. They showed up almost an hour late with no call and no apology. Did a cruddy job, too… they wouldn’t even help me move my puny little coffee table because, «Sorry, Ma’am, we’re not insured to do that.» That’s the best excuse I ever heard to JUSTIFY LAZINESS!
They should be called WORST Coast Carpet.

Called them to get my carpet cleaned. They did an awesome job! Will definitely use them again.

Family-​owned business that really takes pride in their work. They were very quick yet detail-​oriented. Very flexible negotiating prices. Gave me a realistic expectation of what they could do, and actually exceeded it! Definitely booking them again!
Major plus is that they are a funny and adorable couple.

I was incredibly impressed with Joe and Greg customer service. They were friendly and very professional. My carpets were a disaster and now it looks like I have new carpet. thanks to this company! I highly recommend using them. Great deals and an amazing job. You can’t get better!

I’m so disappointed in this company. I bought voucher through Living Social. When I booked on 12/​10, I was told that the only available appt prior to the holidays would be ¹²⁄₂₀ @ 5pm. I did find it odd that I was also asked how I would be paying for the tip. I had to tell the receptionist that the tip would be determined once the work was done, and if I decided on paying a tip, I would pay it in cash. Since I’m preparing my house for new tenants to move in on 1÷1÷14, this appt would fit well with the schedule. Today (the day before), I received a call from the receptionist informing me that the appt had to be cancelled because the driver/​carpet cleaner is not open to making the appointment due to traffic. Also, I was reminded that there is no other available appt. I’m so disappointed in this company, and I will never work this company or recommend this company to anyone.

i live within the zipcode proximity (20miles?) stated on the living social, yet i was charged $ 11 extra for transportation. the lady said the living social has an error and should have said 5 miles. annoying
they had to reschedule and then were late even then.
saved money, but job quality was overall just okay.

Very unprofessional! They were late over an hour and they never call to notify! I had to call and they say they had 15 min delay! After 1 hr and 30 minutes waiting called and cancel the service. They just wasted my time. Hope they don’t charge my card because they requested for app.

This is the worst company I have ever spoken with. They not only cancelled on me twice, but didn’t call to let me know that they were running late. I had to call and leave a message and on top of that they started texting me instead of calling me in person to let me know that they had overbooked. I do not recommend using this company or service.

These guys rock! Excellent service when I called. Precisely on time for the appt. Friendly and passionate about their business. Explained stuff to me and got down to business. I’ll definitely call them again. My carpet looks better than new :-) Thanks guys!
