I stopped coming here about a year ago because service wasnt that great. But it seems they’ve got new staffs in and the whole atmosphere changed. Bridgette? ‘s a cool girl, very friendly. Giving it a five star cause they turned it around.

Great selection of boba and hookah and good prices. The workers are always very helpfull and friendly. They have a few board games there if you want to gather there and play with friends. The only downside is there might be a wait because it gets pretty busy sometimes. The drinks and hookah ive gotten from here have always been good. I’ve never been dissapointed with a trip here.

I have to be honest here, it was so cold in the hookah area downstairs that it literally felt like we were outside. :/ It’s winter and about 45 – 55 degrees outside. Not fun. :(We had to keep our jackets AND gloves on the entire time and I couldn’t feel my feet. The cool thing though(which is why I gave Boba bear 3 stars) is that they have boardgames and boba along with the hookah. I loved that! 3 of my favorite things in one place! :) The boba was divine but I wasn’t a fan of there being a 1 drink minimum, the hookah itself was a decent enough price to pay if you ask me. But like I said the boba was delicious! The service was ok, the people there sort of acted like they didn’t need our business but weren’t ENTIRELY rude. I’d probably go back but only in the summer, since anything else is numbingly cold.

Came here a couple nights ago with a friend and it was packed, however we decided to stay and have some boba and smoke some hookah. The lady serving us was very slow and left us unattended for the most part, getting our boba took over 20 minutes and getting our hookah started took longer. Not very pleased, hookah sucked, not much smoke was coming out of it but I ordered a hot coconut milk boba which was good and that was the reason this place gets some stars lol

This place was hidden and can’t really be found from the street without really knowing about this place or looking it up. It was two stories but it looked like the top story wasn’t used and the bottom had about 12 tables so seating was limited. Valet parking is only $ 2 so that isn’t too bad. The music was also good. They had al fhaker($ 15), starbuzz($ 19), and fumari($ 23). The flavors aren’t endless but there is combinations to satisfy what you want. For every person who smokes has to order a drink. I just had green tea sweetened which was good with my hookah. The hookahs was really good and lasted about an hour. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars was that the drink took about 15 mins longer to make than the hookah so about 30 minutes for tea. While waiting we ordered water and we never got it. Even after an hour being there. They completely forgot. It’s definitely worth checking out and try have nice board games but the employees seemed to have this routine to give you your hookah and drinks you are paying for and checking in on you later when they feel your coals are running low.

Decent milk tea. Not the best but not the worst that I’ve tried. I don’t really smoke hookah(or anything anymore…) but my friend definitely does so I guess she ordered the right … Bong? What the hell do you call the machine? Lol. Whatever. The flavor was super fruity and smooth… Not harsh like some other places. Valet park for two dollars.

I stopped by Boba Bear last night after seeing Star Wars in 3D as I felt like I needed a serious hookah fix. I had already been there about a year ago for bobas but decided to be back as I thought the one of a kind mix between hookah and boba was just awesome. First off let me tell you that those guys are serious about what they do. Boba is off the charts and the honey hookak I got was the real deal. Super intense flavor and clean hookah, which is pretty rare in hookah bars. The staff was nice and accomodating — never reluctant to answer my questions about tobacco flavors and tapioca balls. Highly recommend them if you’re in the area.

The hookah at this place is amazing. When I want to smoke some bomb ass hookah and chill this is where i go to. People here including the staff are super nice and friendly. The staff make sure to assist you at their best. Their smoothies are great. Not a fancy place and nothing special about it. But since they make the best hookah in LA I just enjoyy going in. You can go in to chill by yourself, study, hangout with friends or do whatever you want. Its a great place you wont regret it.

Not sure why I had to wait when there was a ton of empty tables open… Then the machine we got kind of sucked so the smoke was very harsh. The milk tea is OK… I will say that the people who work here are very nice though. It’s just the couches, machines, and drinks themselves are mediocre.

HOOKAH bar that sells boba and offers board games(conveniently open late til 4am on some days!) Just wasn’t happy with our experience here, the workers weren’t trying to accommodate us and it was freezing inside but they have to keep the air conditioning on because of the hookah —hot coffee milk tea: tasted like instant coffee but can’t expect much Most of the patrons are a younger crowd NOTE: they have their own parking lot which was convenient for us

Alright so first off, I’d like to say that if it wasn’t for boba bear I would be very bored all the time. I’ve been coming here over a year now and I’m happy to say it has one of the best workers. They’re all super friendly and will do anything to make sure you’re satisfied with your sesh :) They always check up on you to make sure everything is groovy. If it wasn’t for the friendly atmosphere and great hookah/drinks/brick toast I would never have bothered with this place. Comparing it to all of my other experiences with hookah lounges, Boba Bear knows how to do it all. You guys will always be my favorite! #Yolis

Boba and hookah is such a weird combination but it’s awesome. It’s works oddly. The parking lot is extremely small, so be prepared to valet your car for $ 2. The shop itself is small as well but they have an upstairs too with sofas so there’s a bit more space. Workers are friendly and pleasant, and will always space some time to chat with your group. They add to the fun atmosphere. Choice in music is usually on point, ranging from kpop to edm, so there’s a nice chill feeling No matter what. I like how there’s games you can play there as well, I’ve stayed here with friends for a couple hours just playing Apples to Apples while smoking. Lol. They have a rather larger selection of shisha from your basics to fumari. Personally I like starting with a basic flavor of mint and a fruit flavor and then getting a refill of fumari as a second(or third). Also it’s cheaper if you do it that way! People there know their hookah so it’s nice to have people who know what they’re doing. The drinks, however, could have some work done with. They’re ok but not amazing. Also note after 7pm, you have to buy a drink per person with your hookah. They also serve crepes and just recently brick toast as well! I haven’t tried the brick toast yet, but the crepes are actually pretty good, you’re just gonna have to wait a while for it.

Let’s take a minute to talk about how dope this place is. We stopped at this gem after landing in LA for a day before going to Japan. Its open late and located in Koreatown, which is the most chill part of L.A. We got there, our phones were dying and we needed a moment to relax and recharge. The ambiance there is so laid back. First off, its a hookah bar so it smells of fruit and other sweet scents. When we went, there was hiphop playing, which we thoroughly appreciated. We both had nutella crepes and hung out. Did I mention that they have board games? Imagine playing Connect Four as MF Doom blared in the background. And the staff was so friendly! Definitely coming back here once we go back to LA.

Okay at first, a boba/hookah lounge sounds like a really good idea… but if you go here, make sure you’re looking to buy both. I came with friends only looking to smoke hookah. We were in the area and this was literally the closest to where we were. It was our first time and we tried to order a hookah but then we were asked about our drinks. Apparently it’s a 1 drink minimum per person? We didn’t know this, so we all ordered drinks(unwillingly), and the employee seemed annoyed with us for the rest of the night. O-K. :| Anyway, drinks weren’t phenomenal and service wasn’t exactly pleasant soooo thx but no thx, Boba Bear.

Truthfully, I don’t like to leave negative reviews at all. But when I’m craving for boba and search for a new boba place to try through Unilocal I would expect a «Boba» store or café or whatever~ to have… boba! I truly, truly, truly~~ do not understand how a «boba» store can run out of… BOBA! Complete fail! I mean, it’s called«BOBA bear» for crying out loud. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s like going to Pinkberry and they say, «Oh, I’m sorry, but we ran out of frozen yogurt.» Yup, won’t be returning here again. Ever. The end.

First time here with my coworkers after our closing shift. We were all craving brick toast and were impressed with the Romeo brick toast with nutella, strawberries, bananas and your choice of chocolate or vanilla ice cream! It was only 8.99 and we added an extra scoop of ice cream for just $ 1. The servers were super chill and even helped out my friend who’s never smoked hookah before. We ordered the Peach’os, honeydew me and Son of a Peach for our drinks and they were tasty, but if you’re looking for a super caffeinated tea that’ll keep you up, probably not the place to go. Also they were nice about letting us know they were closing the kitchen ahead of time and asked if we wanted to order anything else. The board games were super fun too, just wish customers had the initiative to clean up their own and organize the board game before putting it back on the shelf. Overall, good experience!

Greetings and salutations Unilocal reviewers. 1. Hella chill vibes. The place itself is super comfortable and home-y. The service is great and will try to help you out as much as they can, as fast as they can. This is my first time at the LA location and it’s beginning to be one of my favorite hookah places. 2. The drinks are amazing. I highly recommend the«D» which is the drink my friend ordered. And this is probably the girl in me but I love the mason jars. Nice touch. 3. Of course, aside from the boba, the hookah is a big part place and man, I think that’s what got this place to those five stars. We go Pink Zero today, courtesy of our server Kyle, and it’s pretty amazing. We got the pineapple bowl with it for $ 5 and it was definitely worth it. 4. Free wifi, let’s go. 5. Two words. Bubble. Straws. Don’t ask, just ask for them. Overall the experience was chill af and I had a pretty great experience at this location. I highly recommend if you want amazing hookah and boba.
