Brothers Glass & Shower Doors

Very poor customer service. I called a few days ago and spoke to Ruben about a shower door repair. He said he could do it and gave a reasonable price. He took my address and we arranged for him to come out on a Saturday as he said it would be convenient for him since he has another project to go to that’s close to me. I changed around my whole Saturday to be home and he never showed up. I called the store a few times and nobody answered which was quite odd if you are a business. Left a message and he called back hours later saying sorry, he forgot to take my phone number to call me for my address which he already took down. Seriously? Who would want to do business with this guy? Can’t even keep his word. Too bad for him as my brother and his wife are building a large home in Bel Air and I was going to pass on his info to them. Lost a big opportunity there Ruben.

We went through a bathroom remodel and wanted a nice glass bathtub enclosure — but didn’t want to deal with our contractor for any minute longer than we absolutely had to. So, with Unilocal to the rescue, we set out on our own to find the perfect shower door folks: Brothers Glass. We loved working with them — helpful, courteous, prompt, reasonably priced, and the doors and handles are made locally in LA. What more can you ask for?
Initial call was returned promptly by Omar, I got a quote right over the phone, after texting him some photos of our remodeled bathtub as well as the rough dimensions. Once we decided that we’d go with Brothers, he came out on a Saturday (!) to measure, and it turns out the final price was even a bit less than the initial quote. Yay! Thursday the following week I got a call that our doors were ready for install — and they would have even come out that same day except we ran into some problems on our end (turns out the contractor had damaged our brand-​new tub … but that’s a different story). While I was freaking out over the damaged tub, Omar again was incredibly helpful, postponed installation of the doors, no questions asked. When we did end up installing the doors, the team was great — and very careful. The result: awesome new bathroom with beautiful new glass doors.
Highly recommend Brothers Glass and if we ever need more glass shower doors, they’ll be the first company we’ll call.

Ruben and Luis are amazing. I called them on Monday and they came out that same night to give me an estimate on two shower doors. They came and installed them three days later and the price was great. I highly recommend them.

I hardly ever post on Unilocal,though I do utilize it when in need. But Omar at Brothers Glass was first-​rate. He came the next day, fixed the problem, and charged me a reasonable amount. If you have a glass shower door that needs fixing, or you need to install one, I would go no further. Just call Omar at Brothers Glass. He was excellent.

This review is only for the person over the phone. Very nice, transparent and had a good attitude. Unfortunately I can’t use this company because my location isn’t in their servicing area. The gentleman couldn’t recommend me any other companies with similar services but he offered to search for me. Really nice and helpful, major bummer I can’t use them.
For the record this company only deals with Shower Door problems whether it be replacing, removing, installing or fixing a door… They do not service full shower problems. Example: uninstalling an entire tub /​shower and replacing with a new one, tiled walls etc. Only relating to shower doors.

I called this company for an estimate who I estimate is less than 8 miles from me, still in the city Los Angeles, and was told that they don’t service my area… which sounds completely insane. I can’t say for sure why they won’t service me, but I do have some ideas. Pretty insulting!!!

Brothers Glass is great. Had a glass shower door that needed adjusting-​they came right our and fixed it in about thirty minutes. Really reasonable too! Highly recommend!

Ruben is awesome. He is a «can do, make it happen» kinda guy. So glad I found him after my awful experience at one of his competitors. Solved my problem for a few hundred dollars.

So happy I found Brothers Glass And Shower Doors on Unilocal.My 1947-​built house had the original stall shower door that gapped and leaked. I called on a Tuesday and the man came to measure on Wednesday and my fabulous new non-​leaking shower door was installed on Monday morning. Had never bought a shower door before but the price seemed more than fair. Excellent phone service, home visit to measure and then installation. Just wish I had another shower so I could order another new door! I would CERTAINLY recommend this business to others!

So far its been a great experience, I called over a month ago to ask an for an estimate over the phone and i got an answer right away. Today I called again to make an appointment and they are coming to my home «today» for measurements.
I will review this review later and let every now know how things turned out.

Like James M’s review I had a very disappointing experience. I called a week ago and talked to slightly confused person who was «pretty sure» he could do the time and day I asked for because we needed a quote for a new shower door. He also had my phone number wrong and I had to repeat it twice to be sure it was right and also incorrectly remembered my zip code. Then they never showed up for the appointment. I called after about 20 minutes and the person did not have any record of my appointment or give me any answer except to ask if I needed an emergency appointment that day. Then when I told him «no thanks, you have lost my business, I will call someone else,» he asked me what company I was calling. So weird. And I will never use them again. What a shame.

I called Ruben for a shower and tub estimate and he came the next morning! Not only was his bid the lowest, but my shower doors and tub were ordered and installed within 4 days!!!

A small issue with our door, which I think is unique to us. BUT — Reuben came out to make sure everything was working properly and to make a couple of adjustments. He stands by his work and wants to make his customers happy. (He even returned my message even though he was traveling out of the country.)
I think very highly of both Reuben’s work and his professional integrity.

I tried to use this company to get a shower door re-​installed, and my initial contact with them was positive. They asked me to send some images, I got a quote, but then I could not get them to contact me back to confirm an appointment. I sent a couple of follow up emails to Stephanie, never heard anything back. Then called, was told I would get a call back. This did not happen so I called again, and again I was told they for sure would follow up with me the next day, but I never heard from them again. Very disappointing service, and I wasted so much time on them. Don’t make the same mistake! Just go with someone else from the beginning would be my advice!

I am very satisfied with the frameless shower enclosure. Brother’s glass service was fast and professional. The price was also very good. I will be happy to use and recommend this company for other jobs

Very satisfied with the glass table top I ordered for our new wooden dining table. Perfect size and rounded edges. Received excellent customer service when the guys came to measure and install. Top notch quality glass accompanied by great service!

Called them today at 10:30 a.m. and he was here at exactly 3:00 p.m. to fix my broken window panel. The price they quoted was more than fair, stuck to that price and the work was superb. I would recomend Brother’s to anyone.

Really top quality work and delivered/​installed exactly when they said it would be. We had a shower door installed yesterday, the guys took their time (2 hours) to be absolutely precise for the fit and finish. Our shower now looks like a museum piece, incredible.
They did take a couple of days to get back to me initially when I called and got voicemail, but I imagine they are very busy with the quality of work they do and at a price that I cannot imagine anyone can beat. Be patient and don’t wait until the last minute to try and get them in to your place. Very highly recommend these guys.

Wonderful work, friendly people and good price. They did two shower doors for my house and I will highly recommand them.
