Brush Research is a privately owned industrial brush manufacturing company located in Los Angeles, California. We have been in the business of solving difficult finishing problems with brushing technology since 1958.

For over 50 years, BRM has been committed to being the leader in advanced brushing technologies. Our brushes and honing tools are all manufactured in the USA. For over half a century, Brush Research has strived to assist customers in finding the best solution to their finishing needs.

When the company was established, the majority of the business focused on miniature tube and cylinder brushes for the aerospace industry. As the business grew, new facilities were built and machinery was bought. Soon, the business was manufacturing a complete line of power brushes including wheel brushes, cup brushes and end brushes in addition to our twisted in wire product. Today, BRM is a leader in manufacturing custom and standard wire brushes and Flex-​Hone Tools.
