Tried to order a turkey burger and they messed up my order and gave me chicken. I went back and told them I had asked for turkey and they proceeded to give me chicken again. It was dry and disgusting would give zero stars if I could

Expensive for burgers –were out of stock of tomato’s, avocado and bacon on the day. Bill came to $ 33.30 for 2 burgers, one fries & one soda(non refillable) The food was luke warm. I would avoid at all costs

$ 30 dollars for 2 stale burgers and soggy garlic fries. The meat sucks and the bread sucks. And who likes soggy fries? I’d rather have 3 hour old in n out than this meal.

Uhhh… guys … DONTEATHERE. What I got wasn’t that bad(a chicken bowl with peperoncinos, red peppers, pickles, tomato, cranberries, avocado, mushroom, over some mixed greens with Dijon balsamic dressing) it was decent to be honest. But the fries were laaaaame. And my whole family got burgers and they were COLD. Yup folks you read that right — not room temperature, not lukewarm, but cold. Maya said it was the worst burger she’d ever had. Also it was very expensive(but I guess it’s airport food they could serve you a plate of poo and charge you 5 $ lol)

One of the cheaper Airport food options. I only got their shoestring fries, but they were fresh and not bad. Though pretty pricey for fries, I would come back if I want something filling and won’t break the bank. It’s about $ 5 bucks for the fries order and they give quite a bit. The service here was really slow. I only wanted to get fries and it took almost 10 minutes even though they have it all ready already.

Ugh. Rude, unpleasant service. And very slow. Seemingly don’t care that people are trying to catch flights. And, despite being slow, they still get the order wrong. Then they give you attitude when you want it corrected. And, as a bonus, even though the sauces/condiments are included, they want to charge you 55 cents if you want it on the side. As if $ 20 for a burger and fries wasn’t already enough. There’s a reason they’re in the airport — a place you can’t really leave to go get something else. Buy the crappy food on the airplane instead. It’s actually a better deal and the servers aren’t(always) cranky jerks.

Honestly the worst place in the airport to try and get a meal the service here is ridiculously terrible and they are always out of food…

I paid $ 15.53 for a croissant egg and bacon sandwich. They didn’t ask me how I like my eggs cooked, so my eggs were over cooked. The yolk was cooked still. The sautéed mushrooms looked so delicious! They were under a heating lamp… Which apparently did not work because the mushrooms were cold! Usually when the food is bad and expensive, the service makes up for it. The service was terrible!

This place is so poorly managed it’s like a bunch of rejects are running it. All they make is burgers and fries but they ran out of key ingredients like tomatoes, fries were cold and lettuce was wilted. the staff is rude and the assembly of my salad was awful. The cheese and sauce were all stuck to the top of the container lid. I had a beef burger made as a salad with a water and a beer for $ 25. Oh and my beer was poured so poorly that ½ the glass was head/foam. I recommend pick up stix(right next door) any day over this place. If you really want a good burger at LAX, go to Alaska terminal and eat at the Habit. It rocks!!!

Awesome burger, bad service. Takes too long to make a burger and pay the money. I payed 20 bucks for a burger, coke and fries. The only problem is the 10 minute waiting and really slow staff.

If you are willing to wait, not because there is a line, but because they are so slow and unorganized that is took 5 minutes for someone to even take my order, even though there were 5 people literally doing nothing, then you can score a halfway decent French fries, mediocre burger. Concept is great. Too bad it’s run so poorly.

Once again I failed to eat before going through the airport. So, looking at the other options in the terminal, I ended up here. For around $ 10 you can get a really dry unseasoned beef patty with unlimited kind of fresh vegetables. They have a bunch of tasteless sauce options you can moisturize that dry patty with. Plus one star for really good customer service. Too bad the food is just awful.

Got some time before your flight at Terminal 2? Then do yourself a favor and stop by Built and create a custom burger. It was fresh, delicious and juicy. Burger was prepared perfectly med rare as requested and ingredients were piled on. It looked so good that I started chomping on it before I could snap any photos. We shared an ultimate burger which contained two oversized patties, bacon, cheese, lettuce and sautéed mushrooms. Plus an order of tots. Our total came to about $ 25. I didn’t think that was overpriced for 2 people. It’s the airport, after all, and I expect to pay high prices. The staff was helpful and I was happy to wait a few extra minutes for a hot burger, freshly toasted brioche buns and crispy hot tater tots. And now we are super full. No need to wake me up for a yucky reheated tray lunch on the long flight back… I’m good. I would absolutely eat here again.

The buns were not hot. Also the it was not packed properly. It would be very inconvenient for someone to eat. Ideally, they should toast the bun and pack it properly so that the bun, veggies and the patty remains intact.

We all know airport food is ridiculously expensive. Built is no exception. We were at LAX for a stopover and my party wanted something more substantial than airline food on the plane ride back to Hawaii, so airport food it is before we board our flight. For three custom burgers, three orders of fries/taters, and three drinks it came out to a whopping $ 57. My burger tasted great and the service was quick, but next time I’m at LAX I probably won’t be emptying my wallet at Built unless I really can’t find anything else more suitable.

Great concept but that’s about it. The staff is sloppy and the food is terrible! If you are stuck and there is nothing else to eat I say take your chances on starvation and don’t eat anything from this place.

My beef patty on a bed of greens and tons of toppings was very tasty. I like the concept of building my own burger but I found the place to be very disorganized. Burgers would be sitting there on the counter for a long time while someone would be checking on fries or other items making the wait very long and your patty not as warm. Overall it was a good lunch but not a good idea if you are in a rush trying to catch your flight.

Good burger made fresh and turns cold before your eyes while waiting to pay. Slow quickserve and run very poorly and illogicaly. My food was done and i had to wait 15 minutes before i could pay and then the cashier forgot to give me my food. They didn’t prepare sweet potato fries in advance so my girlfriend had to wait for that. The fries girl was mumbling and complaining the whole time even as a customer politely said she had a flight to catch. Burger was 4 star. Service was 1 or 0 star.

When LAX renovates a space, they sure do a great job of updating the look as well as the quality of the food. The last time I went thru, this was a Burger King and Built Burger is a huge step up. They take your protein and bun order and then pile on any condiments you like. The line moved really quickly and my burger and a soda cost $ 10 which was totally reasonable given the size of the burger. They actually followed my request of having the burger medium and it was juicy and pretty darn large. Add ons went from expected — lettuce, tomato, sauces out to shaved carrots and cucumber. They charge for guacamole and bacon and recommend you get a ‘meal’ with their 4 types of fries for a ‘deal’. Hmmm… fries and a discount. Sounds very American. So I went w sweet potato fries which were ‘meh’. Cold and not worth the calories. Overall I’d be happy to come back though. Hold the fries.

Omg! Run far far away from this place! Hands down the worst & most expensive breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! The egg is paper thin & they have bacon… you can see it… but they won’t let you have it because there is no bacon button on the register. There is also no combo button so you’ll pay about $ 5 more than the combo price listed on the menu!!! The staff is completely incompetent & the food is awful. We waited about 40 min for the worst breakfast of our lives #youvebeenwarned
