Specialties

We specialize in teaching English as a Second Language and also we teach TOEFL other wise known as Test of English as Foreign Language. We have classes from the beginning to advanced levels and we welcome transfer in international students (F-​1) from other schools. We also have school advisors standing by with any questions about the visa process for F-​1 students.

History

Established in 1995.

This institution is a private institution approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations. In addition, the school is approved to operate under the national accrediting agency, ACCET, Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training.

Angie S.

Business Owner

Angie S is the founder of the school in 1995. She has been operating the school since then. She has earned B.A. degree from UCLA and completed her Master’s degree in Education. She is the author of two ESL books called «Trilingual English and The Survival English»

The Mission of California Language School is to provide quality English as a second language instruction to student whose native language is not English, and prepare them for higher education in the U.S. California Language School strives to increase students’ interest in intellectual matters; to enrich their lives; to help them develop an appreciation for cultural diversity; to acclimate to American life; and to encourage the pursuit of lifelong learning. To support this mission, California Language School offers faculty whose credentials include appropriate academic, professional, and practical experience.
