Met Carlos to have my MacBook Pro laptop dusted (it’s been operating waaaay slow). He was very friendly and professional… and most importantly QUICK. Had my laptop cleaned in about an hour and a half. I’ll def come back here again.

Terrific service. Brought in a damaged hard drive that kept clicking when my laptop tried to boot. Because it was too damaged to be restored, they didn’t charge me anything for the diagnosis and for their attempt to clone the drive. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of computer repairs.

Great service and very responsive. I thought I needed a new cooling fan and he opened it up only to find a screw from the housing in the fan! Saved me hundreds of dollars and had it fixed in less than 24 hours.

Took my chromebook in because it wouldn’t boot up. I asked if they knew how to work with chrome os and they said they could figure it out. It cost $ 30 to diagnose the problem. They didn’t actually know what the problem was, but they restarted it and it worked. I took it home and it was painfully slow. I had to reinstall the software again. A week later it had the same problem as before I took it in. Unhappy with the lack of an actual diagnosis, and that I payed $ 30 for the problem to still exist.

These guys know how to do business.
My laptop has been unable to charge for a while now and my only course of action so far was to get a new battery which didn’t work. So I finally decided to do a Unilocal search for computer repair and found these guys which are really close to my house. I brought the laptop in and told the gentleman the problem I was having. He asked if I had brought the cord with me. I hadn’t. I was informed that the problem might not have been with the computer but the cord itself. Instead of just going ahead and opening the whole thing which woulda cost me about $ 60, he tested it w one of his own. Sure enough, it began charging.
Was I a little embarrassed for not having thought of that before? Sure. Did I feel bad about wasting his time? I did. But he was so gracious about the whole thing. I really appreciate the fact that he did his best to save me money rather than just take it from me.
I may not have gotten any work done on my laptop this time but once it really does need it, this is definitely the first place I’m bringing it to.

After our laptop got wet and crashed, I brought it here to retrieve some data that I had stupidly not thought to back up. I looked at the ratings on Unilocal,which helped a lot. Chacho’s is also close to my work and was way more reasonable in the price quoted than the big chain store, so I gave it a try.
Ricardo was great; very professional and courteous. I dropped it off on my lunch and was able to pick up my computer with all my data that evening. Everything that had been on the computer had been retrieved. If I had another computer issue, I wouldn’t hesitate to return here.
Parking can be a little challenging because his office is in a suite in the crowded Westlake area, but it’s definitely worth it. I recommend just finding a meter (and making sure you double check the parking signs)!

Brought my laptops to CHACHOS because it was so slow and the kind owner RICARDO said he was able to CLEAN UP my LAPTOPS and remove all the VIRUSES. And so now its been running smooth and quicker like it was brand new again! Defeinitely will go back to CHACHOS for any OTHER COMPUTER ISSUES !

Fast and reliable service.
I’ve been having trouble connecting online with my laptop, and Ricardo fixed the issue quickly.

Dropped my computer and broke it beyond repair. Even with a nearly busted hard drive, Ricardo was able to extract all my files and helped transfer everything back to a new computer. Great guy and a great help when I thought everything was lost. Highly recommended.

I left my laptop here a couple months back and was told it would be between 50 and 100 bucks. i said «Ok Whatever you think it needs to speed up.» i left

Laptop was not booting up and needed to get it fixed. Found the place on Unilocal and decided to give it a shot.
Location was not great. The building had parking in the back for $ 5 (which is not worth it if you are staying less than 10 – 15 mins like I did). Apart from that, street parking is the other option, but really frustrating since you cannot find a spot close by (unless you are lucky). THIS IS JUST TO INFORM THOSE WHO WANT TO COME HERE. I am in no way implying that the parking situation down grades the service, because it does not.
Ricardo was friendly, courteous, and explained everything he would do before you left your computer. Within two days my laptop was ready for pick-​up (really quick service). Cost was reasonable; definitely did not over price. I have had the laptop now for about a week and it is running like it just came out of the box! I highly recommend this place since I will definitely be taking all my computer problems to him haha
Note: If you plan on going around or after six, the front entrance to the building is closed, so you will have to go through the back and call security.

Ricardo the owner was really patient, honest, and professional while diagnosing the problem of my laptop. He found the problem right away and quickly fixed my laptop in about 2 hours. His rates are the best in Town ! Two thumbs up ! 10 stars !

Ricardo is an expert and really goes that extra mile for you. An honest guy who will tell you if your laptop is worth fixing or not. I came in, thinking it was a serious problem but he told me that my hard drive was simply red lining which was causing the system being unable to boot. I thought I was going to pay hundreds but instead I ended up paying $ 35 which was to only run up the hardware diagnostics. An honest business man, can’t find those around these days.

My laptop screen cracked and I needed to get it fixed ASAP. I looked on Unilocal and found Chacho’s. I really only chose this place because it was so close, but after dropping off my laptop to get fixed, I can see why Ricardo received all the positive ratings. It took a total of 3 days to get everything taken care of (it would have been 2, but UPS messed up on shipping).
Professional, courteous, funny, efficient and very friendly — these are the words that immediately come to mind when I think of this place.
Ricardo helped find the lowest cost of screen replacement for me. He talked how his procedures worked and kept in constant contact with me. His prices are fair and worth it. His customer service did indeed go above and beyond!

My laptop had a virus and I was very disappointed because I really needed my laptop to do my job hunting. Well, I did not have to wait long for my laptop to be ready. I called Carlos and he asked me to take it in. My laptop was good to go the following day.

Ricardo is the best, hands down the friendliest and most efficient computer repair guy I’ve ever worked with
I brought my laptop with a totally broken LCD screen, ready to wait at least 2 – 3 weeks to get it back after past experiences with laptop repairs… he was very up front about the entire process, looking up replacement screens right then and there so I could see for myself the options and cost of parts, letting me know the seller’s estimated shipping speed and everything. Cost of labor was super reasonable, I doubt you can get better prices for this quality of service anywhere else!
Once the replacement screen arrived I dropped off my laptop in the morning and it was ready for me to pick up later that day in the early afternoon. Unbelievable speed, especially considering my laptop model has the screen glued rather than screwed in (??) which is not something I expected him to have to deal with but Ricardo figured it out and returned my laptop in top condition, along with cleaning it out a bit to improve its performance speed.
Bonus — right around the corner from Westlake/​MacArthur Park Red Line station so if you can’t drive/don’t want to deal with parking it’s really convenient by Metro. Can’t recommend their services enough!

I had found this place simply because it was close to where I live, but I’m glad I did. Ricardo, the man who does the repairs, was very friendly and was good about communicating with me.
He also charged a very good price for labor on top of the parts, so I ended up paying not too much out of pocket to have my laptop’s screen replaced.
There’s that saying: «Fast, cheap, good; pick two» but it doesn’t hold true here. I felt that all three criteria were met and I am happy to recommend this place to my fellow Unilocalers!

This is a great, local business. They are friendly, professional, and quickly replied to all my questions.
The cooling fan on my netbook stopped working, and they fixed it within two weeks. Actually, the majority of that time was waiting for the part to arrive. Once they got the replacement fan, it was a day turnaround to get my netbook back.
They explained to me what a normal functioning fan is supposed to look like, and showed me the old fan. It was stuck. Overall, it was a hassle-​free experience. The price was inexpensive, too.
It has been over a month since I got my netbook back, and it works fine. Thank you, Chacho! :)
