I gave this school 5 stars so Unilocal doesn’t put my review in an area that you cannot easily see it. Unilocal is trying to put the negative postings of before in an area you cannot find it easily. This school is very expensive to NOT easily see what harmful things it has done to people in the past, so read and investigate this medical/​nursing program carefully. In all honesty, don’t even go here, go to a community college or even West Coast University or Western Governor’s University for their 1 year online BSN…
Anyways, about Charles Drew University, this program breaks its syllabi and program policies, students get burned here a lot. faculty fail to communicate what challenges it is going thru so students get left in the dark a lot here. clinical sites change last minute, lecturers don’t teach well, students don’t go into tests knowing what is coming, there’s a lot of anxiety here. there’s no way to get issues addressed in adequate time from faculty. there is always a constant feeling of high tension and uneasiness. there’s a lot of favoritism here from faculty to certain kiss up students, even I had to just to get to the position I am in there. teachers get fired in the middle of the semester at least 1 – 2 times per semester for the entry level master’s program, then faculty scramble to throw some other dummy in the class to try and ‘teach’ you what you need to know to salvage your semester and final exit exam prepping… it’s a complete joke. staff administrators come and go like the school is a constant revolving door with no consideration to the $$$thousands of dollars$$$ each student borrows and shells out every semester (approximately $ 10,000 per semester for full time status)! The California licensing board is always being notified of this school from anonymous students throughout the program and semesters because of the ill treatment of the student body. The faculty break their syllabi agreements to the students OFTEN, changing dates and exams and such on a whim, leaving the students pissed off for sudden unexpected and unfair testing dates. I don’t like to complain much, so you didn’t hear this from me, just play the «game» there. Lips shut, no complaining and mumms the word! Don’t waste your time going to this school EVER even if you have to wait it out because you have no other nursing program to go to, just wait another year because you will be better served going anywhere but here. Go to Western Governor University if you have to! They have a 1 year ONLINE BSN program I think. You do the classes online, but the clinical is at Cedar Sinai Hospital. Any school is better than Charles R. Drew University! Save yourself the psychological and emotional trauma, anger, and frustration as well as the $ 100,000+ on the fluffy, non-​substantive, poor reputation schooling they TRY to give you. Thank god I am almost done. This experience was utter B$!

I attended a training at this university on Substance Use, HIV and Youth: What Clinicians Need to Know. Our training took place in the CDU Keck Auditorium, which is a state-​of-​the-​art facility and completely technologically current with computerized presentations and a good sound system. I enjoyed the free wi-​fi and modern facilities. The training was interesting too! Good job! I would highly recommend this facility for training purposes.

The school is trying hard on MSN and FNP program for those who are interesting in becoming FNP.
I am still reviewing those teachers
, some are very helpful to students, some are carrying attitudes, give students difficulties.
At this monent, I grade one star to this school.
If any update news I will post here and give the grading, share with you the happenings lately.
