History

Established in 2003.

CVSC Passport & Visa started in 2003 from humble beginnings in Houston, Texas, as a family operation, to what is now a major player in the travel industry. Within the past few years, we have expanded from a single office to six different locations across the US. Headquartered in Houston, we have offices in New York, Washington DC, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco to provide service to all 50 states and beyond. In the 1st quarter of 2013, we launched a second website, www​.pass​port​cen​ter​.net, expanding our services to include passport and visa processing for all countries that require a visa.

Meet the Manager

Linda L.

Manager

Born and raised in San Francisco, Linda joined the CVSC team starting as an office assistant in the San Francisco branch. She was later asked to open the Los Angeles office and is now the LA branch manager. Having graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a degree in Economics and Environmental Sciences, she is thrilled to be working for a company specializing in travel documents for other countries. Her burgeoning professional knowledge of travel document requirement goes hand in hand with her adventurous side, making it easy for her to plan her own travel arrangements to other parts of the world.

In her free time, Linda loves to explore the great outdoors. She goes hiking, swimming and does activities that get her adrenaline pumping.

Oh lord. When I was told I needed a visa to get to China, my head went into a complete tornado. I tried looking it up how to do it myself and every single website was completely mismatched and difficult to look through. Upon some careful digging on Unilocal,I stumbled upon CVSC and may I say, wow, their website is really professional and automatically made me know that these were the people to get the job done.
So…THANK YOU CVSC! You saved me a ton of headache! Specifically Frank, who helped me and my father get travel visas to visit China. We had to go on short notice and CVSC totally pulled through and handled all of the nitty gritty stuff. All of their forms on their website made the process incredibly clear and easy.
I am so thankful for Frank! He talked to me over the phone and through email in order to make sure we got our visas. And, sure enough, we got them on the day that he said we would get them. There was a small snafu with my father and the consulate needing some more information on a subject, but Frank pulled through and still managed to get my dad the visa the same day as mine.
Thanks so much to Frank for making this process clear and easy! I got a 10 year visa through this service even though I only thought I would be getting a 1 entry 3 month visa, wahoo! My dad only got a 1 entry 3 month visa due to the snafu, but next time we visit China I will definitely use CVSC (and hopefully Frank again) to secure my dad another visa.
Some tips: Parking lot located on Vermont that connects to the building. Parking is pretty expensive but if you’re just popping in to pick up your visa or to drop it off, it will cost you about 2 dollars. Parking is also for other businesses and a bank, so remember that it gets pretty busy during lunch hours (I had a problem finding parking, but only when I went at noon). If you ever visit this location, call before to make sure someone will be there and knock, wait patiently, and someone will be out to assist you.

CVSC and Ling were great! Since this was the first time I ever applied for a Visa for a trip, I was very nervous. My families passports just arrived and I have trip on the 10th. I dropped my paperwork and passports off on Tuesday and picked them up on Friday. The turn-​around was very quick and Ling was extremely helpful. This was such a time saver!

This place is great if you need a visa. The service is fast and courteous, and Ling really knows her stuff. You might have to ask a few questions, but she can advise you on the best type of visa to get, depending on your situation. The turnaround time is fast, and the fees are reasonable, considering that you don’t have to wait in any lines.

Ling has very patient and help me take care of a confusing situation. I had a special needs case as my son was born in China and counted as a Chinese National despite not being one and needed all kinds of extra documentation.

Who knew getting a visa could be such a nightmare? My father’s situation was really tough, but Ling really persisted and got it done. She’s also kind of hilarious — I found myself laughing at moments that really weren’t funny. She made the process, which was a huge pain in the rear, almost enjoyable.

I just received my approved visa today.
I’m so appreciative of Ling and Frank for their help! I went to them last Tuesday. It was a very quick visit. Both of them were really nice and helpful. They took all my paperwork looked over it with me there so that nothing would be missing. I really appreciate the time and patience of looking over my paperwork. They told me that it wouldn’t take that long to get my visa and they were right. I got my 8 days later. I’m leaving in two weeks and I checked off the last thing on my list.
I totally recommend their services. Ling and Frank care about their customers. They make the visa process easy because you can go in person or mail your paperwork. Which is really nice because I had to drive from San Diego to LA. So they were able to send my paperwork back to me.

I am proud to say I have been a CVSC customer for as long as I have been going to China. During that time I have also engaged their services for Visas for all of my employees, so it is safe to say that I have used them at least twenty times or more over the past eight years.

After thorough research, I decided to use China Visa Service Center for my visa processing. Their website was easy to navigate and understand and the fees were reasonable. I had no trouble getting all the paperwork in order. I called them to make sure everything was correct and the individual helping me, Linda was very sweet and reassuring. They made it an easy going straight forward experience where they provide the direct phone numbers for each office on their website so I am dealing directly with staff and not stuck in some automated labyrinth.
I shipped out all my documents and the very next day, I got an email saying everything had been submitted and when I should be expecting everything to be shipped back to me. I was going to call them on the day of shipment but I received an email letting me know that I should be expecting a delivery the next day and it had my tracking number so I could track it myself. I love how CVSC keeps you up-​to-​date on the status of your visa. I received my package and everything was in order. Great follow up as well as organized.
For a task that initially seemed dauntingly stressful and full of hassle, China Visa Service Center made it a breeze. I’m glad I decided to use their service and will refer them to people I know who are looking for an easy way to take care of their visa needs.
