Citadel Outlets

I am not a fan of the overwhelming traffic that goes in and out of the outlets but kudos to Citadel for building a huge parking lot. The extra parking saves a huge headache from searching far and wide for a parking space.
Usually great deals can be found.

Although always crowded, especially during weekends but best deals! Avoid going on weekends.

I don’t go to Citadel often, but when I do I’m not disappointed. I just bought two Coach purses; both for under $ 220 TOTAL. Crazy. I had gone to Coach store at Cerritos mall and they didn’t have anything I loved and the saleslady suggested Citadel outlet. Bingo. I dread parking and then when I get there I’m always pleasantly surprised that I find a space so easily. However, I avoid at Christmastime.

This place is always crowded weekdays or weekends, but on the weekdays you can actually find parking. Anyhow this place has always been there since I was a child, I was here to see a few outlets, Nike, Adidas, and it still has just whatever deals, nothing great, so I ended up buying nothing. You can always see this place off the 5 freeway, the building that looks like a castle, but it is decieving, after all it’s in East Los Angeles, what do you expect.

The only down side about Citadel Outlets would be the parking and sometimes you don’t find good deals. Nonetheless when you do find great parking and deals, it is like the CITADEL GODS HAVE BLESSED YOU. I would recommend for others to come and check it out! :)

This place is okay, but it gets super crowded. They have some stores that I like. I wish there were more food options other than Ruby’s & the food court. Also, there are some vending machines. Parking is super hard to find so be aware of that.

The parking here is terrible. Valet was hard to find and when we did find it, there was a super long line for it that wasn’t moving. When we finally found a park, I was relieved and mistakingly assumed nothing else would be worse than this parking situation. I was wrong. You see, the Citadel Outlets are a major tourist attraction. As with any establishment that is flooded with foreigners, we had to deal with people who didn’t understand personal space and other shoppers who were just plain rude. Save your time and shop elsewhere.
Highly reccommend Ontario Mills if you’re looking for an outlet to shop at. It’s worth the drive.

Went here on a busy shopping weekend. Did valet ($ 5) because we didn’t want to drive around looking for parking. (Lazy).
Store selection is really good compared to the Camarillo outlets. They have most of the same stores.
Overall, we had a good shopping experience and there were plenty of really really good sales. Would definitely come back!

Have a huge variety of spots. BEWARE!!! not every store is an actual OUTLET. Only a couple actually are. I made the mistake of thinking the Nike store was but it is not. They say outlets but not every store is, so don’t be surprised if the store you wanted to shop at doesn’t have great prices.
My favorite here is old navy. I can always find great prices at this outlet store. They have coach, Michael kors, Nike, under amor, and so much more!
Ok on another note, the one thing I hate about this place is that a lot of people don’t know the meaning of Personal space. Let me tell you, there is LOTS of it (except during Christmas) but every single time I got there I have people rudely bumping into me and not apologizing.
A lot of Asian tourists come here. I almost always see a couple of tour bus/​van parked here. This place always seems to be busy Even during the middle of the day too.
Oh and I hope you’re not in a rush because parking if ridiculous. They added a parking structure, but on weekends this place is a nightmare. Good luck!

I wanted to check out the stores here since I always pass by when I drive to and from work but I was deeply disappointed. The selection of stores were meh and parking was ridiculous.

Pickpockets working here @ Nike around 3:00. Today I had my RayBan sunglasses taken from my purse by hispanic woman working with a hispanic man. She would’ve gotten my wallet but I was irritated by her standing so close to me while shopping. Noticed the top zipper was opened (i never leave my purse unzipped. NEVER.) so checked and saw my wallet and phone were still in the purse, so didn’t think anymore about it til I left the store and looked for my sunglasses and found they were gone. I also NEVER go out w/​out my sunglasses.
Reported to the store and mall security. Female was 40 – 50, 5’1″ 160, male 30 – 40, 5’8″ 175, both Hispanic. Work as a team. She uses one hand to look at clothes while using the other on your purse.
Likely targeting Asian women. Be aware if someone stands too close to you.

As of right now, Citadel Outlets just became my #1 outlet! All thanks to the great deals I’ve received the last two times I’ve visited the place. Camarillo or Cabazon Outlets are my usual outlets but it’s been a while since I’ve been due to distance. It’s a good 90 miles from home.
So the two times I’ve been here, I make sure they’ll be having super good deals. Those are always the best times to go. Although I’ve asked around and they still give decent discounts even on regular seasons. I bet it still beats mall prices. Just keep in mind that outlets don’t often carry the new items.
Parking has always been easy for us to find. I prefer the parking structures over the parking lots near the stores. No one really walks around in the structures. Just don’t forget what level you parked on.
In terms of shops, I typically know which ones I want to go into so shopping is a little quicker. Unless you want to make a whole day out of it, then go for it. I only like to spend a good 2 – 3 hours here.

Tips:
— Steer clear of vicious shoppers! They’re the worst.
— Shops that have lines to get inside: MK, Coach, UGGs

Came across this outlet by accident on the way from Universal Studios to Downtown Disney. We had also noticed that our hotel advertised this place in our room too.
You can see the outlet from the highway and the structure had a Ancient Greek/​Egyptian feel to it.
The parking was huge and the selection of outlet stores were vast! They have a 2-​story Nike Factory that had amazing sales. Also, they have a Disney Store outlet, yes my inner Disney nerd came out squealing!
We found great deals at the Disney store, Nike factory and Kate Spade. I wanted to go to every store but it was raining and I was already tired and soaked from Downtown Disney that we left. But had left satisfied.
If you are ever in the L. A area and find yourself between Universal Studios and Disneyland, this outlet is a must. It is by far one of the best outlets that I have gone to, well much better than the Gilroy Outlets.
Definitely bring a car with a huge trunk because we barely were able to fit all our stuff and luggage back into our small rental after.

You can find a lot of deals here, usually a lot of people but that’s because of the deals.
No problem with parking, plenty of choices for men and women.
The Nike outlet had a lot of choices for women not so much men, but that changes frequently, Levi store had a lot of deals but more on the buy 3 get one free type of deals so buying jeans for the rest of the year I’d go for it haha.

My husband and I have driven by this set of outlets several times throughout commutes back-​and-​forth from orange county to LA so we were always curious to see what was there. We decided to trek up to Commerce one Saturday in March for a change of pace and some birthday shopping for me.
Firstly we got there and parking was a nightmare but with $ 5 valet right near the Starbucks how could we resist? After Valeting in the car we walked across to the lot and located the Starbucks first and foremost. It was crazy busy but worth it because I need energy to do this kind of bargain hunting. LOL
Next Starbucks is Ann Taylor and of course I loved everything in there but sometimes I felt like it was a normal shop with some clearance not really genuinely outlet. Then we went to asics which had the same token retail feeling.
The shining jewel of this outlet mall was the Kate Spade. I adore Kate spade and buy one or two bags the year so I was very pleased to find that there was an extra 20% off already markdown clearance. Kate spade outlets are the best and I was able to get a high-​quality bag that I Will use for my laptop and work stuff at 75% off.
After this my husband and I were hungry and not really interested in any of the café food court offerings so we left.
I probably wouldn’t go back because I prefer the Town of Carlsbad and the Carlsbad outlets are closer to our home. Plus my husband loves polo Ralph Lauren and this group of outlets does not have one. If I’m in the area and curious about Kate Spade, I might drop in… But I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

The Citadel Outlets are perfect for those looking for a bargain. They have a wide variety of stores and every time I’ve been there I’ve hit the jackpot on sales! The parking is rough, but they have valet that is quick and efficient for only $ 5. My personal favorite store at the outlet:

And Auntie Annes for the mid-​shopping snack!
I only go to the outlets about twice a year, but that’s usually when I want to spend some serious money and get some awesome deals.

Fairly large. Very wide walkways. Limited dining options (many choices but none are good). Nice variety of stores. Discounts justify the trip.
I came on a weekday. Wasn’t crowded. I imagine it’s a zoo on the weekends.
Visited with a couple visiting from Japan; otherwise, I wouldn’t come here… though I did discover there is a Le Creuset store here. Oh no…

Citadel outlets are a great place to come for savings and discounts. I’m not too sure about the prices and if they are «outlet prices» compared to retail store prices but you can find some great deals.
It’s located just off of the freeway and provides ample parking. There’s an open lot near the stores and a few free garages. Skip the garages and just park in the open lot by the stores. Make sure to come on a weekday if possible. It’s not as crowded and makes the shopping experiences more enjoyable.
The bathrooms are clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of seating areas too along the way in case your feet hurt from all of the shopping. Walking areas are nicely landscaped.
Food court area is a bit lacking in my opinion. There wasn’t much of anything very appetizing. Just the regular chain options like Panda Express or sbarro. There was also a sushi place and a Mexican food place along with a Mediterranean grill. Would be really great if there was a sports bar or something for the guys to grab a beer and watch some sports on TV while the ladies go shop.
Make sure to check in on Unilocal to get a free Citadel Savings card for extra savings on your purchase. I was able to grab a blazer at Banana Republic for $ 85. It was originally priced at $ 250 but was on clearance for $ 125 and had 30% off at the store. Added 10% off with the savings card.

The nice long looking castle on the side of the 5 fwy lol. Always looks super cool arouns Christmas time, with it all lit up and the big bow in the front.
If you are coming in the peak hours, parking sucks. I recommend you just find a spot towards the back and just walk, so that you don’t drive around for 20 minutes looking for that VIP spot lol.
I love coming here because of the athletic stores — Nike, Under Armor, Reebok, Adidas, ect. plus all great variety of other well known brands. I like to pop in every so often to see what deals are going on, and sometimes you leave with things you didn’t come for because the prices are just too good to pass up.
They also have a little food court, and a starbucks if you get hungry while shopping lol. Parking may be crowded, but the stores and walk ways are very spacious, and eveything is always looking nice and clean. They also offer valet parking.

We have come here for years but have noticed it has gotten more crowded with each year. Aside from the crowds of families hoarding Michael Kors like it’s a luxury item and the tourists buying luggage like it’s the end of the world, we do enjoy the variety of stores they have here. They have Adidas, Kate Spade, Banana Republic, Nike, Fossil, Columbia, Aerosoles, Gap, Wilson’s Leather, Michael Kors, Sunglass Hut, Calvin Klein, etc. Pretty much everything you need with frequent sales, and the stores have improved so much over the years!
I believe this place is a bit too accessible and since it is located in an area that isn’t too safe, the ambiance can be a bit ghetto so I would recommend coming here early in the morning. When it’s crowded the drivers and parking are horrible, so we try to park far away from all the hostility. Nevertheless, this place is definitely convenient for the great deals. My favorite part is coming each year to see the Christmas tree!

Muy buen lugar para ir de shopping, como es outlet las marcas no tienen lo último, pero sí todo muy bueno, pasa recorrer todo se necesitan varias horas.

einfach nur geil. die oulet-​angebote unterscheiden sich nicht sonderlich von anderen städten, aber das ambiente und die architektur ist netter. ein ort um den ganzen tag zu verweilen. lecker futtern kann man natürlich auch und starbucks ist auch vor ort. was will man mehr!

Den Besuch hätten wir uns sparen können, Schnäppchen oder richtig günstige Artikel absoulte Fehlanzeige. Nicht mal meine Freundin hat was gutes gefunden, echt schade. Dafür ein schöner FoodCourt. Tip: Auf keinen Fall Suppe beim Japaner essen, Nudeln mega-​Al dente, Fleisch innen gefroren, nicht gewürzt… einfach nur schlecht.
Besser das Outlet im Norden Richtung Vegas aufsuchen, das ist um Längen besser.

LA’s einziger Outlet-​Mall. Für jeden der in der Gegend ist und nach wirklichen Schnäppchen-​Angeboten sucht ein absolutes Muss. Hier findet man z.B. Outlets von Levis, Hilfiger, Billabong, Quicksilver. Zum einen werden Auslaufartikel, oder Artikel mit leichten Fehlern werden hier zu Spotpreisen verramscht (Levis-​Standard Jeands für 10 $), zum anderen bekommt man ganz gute Rabatte auf Artikel aus aktuellen Kollektionen. Einzig beachten muss man, dass ganze Center bereits um 20 Uhr schließt und erst um 10 Uhr öffnet.
