This place is great. I live within walking distance so I decided to check it out. Side bar: I love supporting small business They staff is friendly especially the guys that work the deli, he even gave me some free samples of stuff I havn’t tried before. I now stop by weekly for good deli meets and cheeses as well as inexpensive produce!

Walking distance from my place. Really cheap produce. Great selection of fresh peppers. Hot sauce wall!

Just moved into town and discovered this gem of a market! Fresh produce, at least ten types of peppers, a section dedicated to hot sauce, helpful staff, and amazing prices! I can buy an entire week of produce for under 15 bucks! I’ve been there several times already and today the guy that works behind the butcher counter gave me some salsa to try, we ended up discussing the best peppers for salsa. Best of all, its a block away!

I went there in search of milk, butter and juice. I went inside, got the items and walked to the register. The cashier rang up my items, never even looked at me, gave me my change, bagged the items and I left. I realized later that I didn’t really want juice so I went back and got soda instead. When I went back to exchange the items, the cashier was still talking on her phone. Finally she got off and I asked for an exchange. She gave me one but did not give me a receipt. I told her that I wanted a receipt and she gave me a «look». She then said that she couldn’t. I asked why and she starts speaking in jumbled sentences that seem like run-ons. She then proceeds to get angry and asks me to step aside so she can help the next customer. She takes three customers before she pays attention to me. Eventually she gives me the receipt and tells me that I have to respect her and that I don’t need my receipt on top of other things that I won’t mention. I just walked away. I will probably never go to that store again, not on my life.
