William was my instructor and it was a blast. I took pediatric (infant & child) CPR + First Aid Training, and the whole process took about five hours. He went at a perfect pace – not rushed, but not too slow and kept a sense of humor, which made the day go by quickly. He is highly observant, patient, passionate, and clearly cares whether or not each and every individual in the room is comprehending materials and practicing correctly. It’s a very hands-​on course, so you’ll need to commit to each exercise, pay close attention to details, and show that you’re following along and putting forth your best effort. You additionally get freebies at the end to help prepare you for the event of potentially saving a life!

I took my family here to prepare for the birth of our son. William was extremely knowledgable and explains concepts very well, always checking for understanding. Be prepared for a hands-​on class with resources that you can keep.

I tried to book a private CPR class for our office.
I spoke with them on the phone, gave them all my information and triple confirmed the date and time. A week out from our scheduled date, I received an email saying that our slot had been taken by another party. When I called, I spoke to Tina, the woman who I had schedule the private class with, she informed me that the instructor had booked another job and would be unable to teach our class. I asked for other days or times or even another instructor but they were unwilling to reschedule.
I received a text saying, sorry but we will not be able to reschedule.

I just took the infant CPR class with William and feel much more prepared for parenthood. He was calm, but a straight talker and I learned a lot. I would highly recommend this for any parents to be.

William came to my house to teach our group infant and child CPR and it couldn’t have been better! He worked really well with us and got everyone involved. One couple had their infant with them and he was SUPER kind and accommodating with any fussiness and gave a helped hand when needed by the parent holding the wee one.
Something I really liked was that while we were practicing he asked questions of us with the express intent of flustering and stumping us. This provided just enough pressure to give a taste of the stress one might experience in an emergency. I would highly recommend learning CPR from CPR Los Angeles!!!

It is absolutely essential for parents and care-​givers to be trained in infant and child CPR. William and his team at CPR Los Angeles make this task easy to accomplish! He came to our home on a Saturday evening and taught us all the basics focusing on hands-​on practice and constant feedback. The biggest benefit was that we could be there with our babies – and he was happy to take a 10 minute break when one baby had to nurse and when another had to be put to sleep. The training is affordable ($ 40 for infant AND child), convenient (no further than your living room), and flexible! We set up the training 5 days before. And, when one set of parents couldn’t come last minute, William said he would honor their payment if they wanted to make up the class in person at their facilities.
If you have a child in your life in ANY capacity (niece, cousin, neighbor’s kid, whatever!), get trained by William immediately. I hope I never have to use it, but I’m confident that I know what to do if I’m ever near a child in an emergency. #priceless

I just did my CPR and AED training with William. I loved his class. His group classes are intimate (6 – 7 people). He is very knowledgeable and teaches the class with passion. He’s happy to answer any questions and is very thorough with the class! I had received my pediatric CPR certification from another company in town and Wiliam’s was much more informational and thorough as the other class… just an FYI! Take it seriously and you’ve acquired priceless life saving information for life!
Not to mention, I had signed up for a class last week and last minute wasn’t able to make it. There was no hassle in rescheduling with CPR LA and it was a breeze to find the next class available that worked with my schedule!

I recently started working for a family with a 4 month old baby and the parents and I thought it would be a good idea to brush up on our emergency training before he starts crawling and getting into things. I called CPR Los Angeles and spoke to Tina about scheduling an in-​home class. She was so nice and helpful and was able to schedule a class for us on that Saturday evening. William showed up right on time with all of the proper tools for teaching us how to perform CPR. I really feel like I learned all of the right techniques and he had us practice different scenarios until we all really knew what we were doing. It was also extremely affordable and so nice to have one instructor teaching the three of us because we really got one on one help. I feel like when I’ve taken larger group classes in the past I wasn’t as likely to ask questions and check my own understanding. We will definitely have William back for the child class. I am part of a mom’s group and we all came together for CPR training. William came to the townhouse and brought all his materials and mannequins. The first thing I noticed about William is that he is very passionate about this topic. He has a son so he knows first hand how important this knowledge is. William is able to get down to business by making you feel like you are truly learning life saving information. Even though the subject gets heavy at times, he has a wonderful sense of humor and warmth about him that a lot of trainers lack.
Anyone that has a child should take this class. You get hands on experience and really learn the techniques. If you want a knowledgeable and warm trainer William is the guy for you!

Just took my first CPR/​First Aid class with them. I had John and he was great! I took it at their location and there were 4 of us so the class went by efficiently and fast, and I left feeling confident with the skills that I learned. I would definitely recommend going to CPR Los Angeles!

We needed to get re-​certified for infant, child and adult CPR and first aid as part of the adoption process. Previously when we got certified, we had spent long, tedious days sitting in class. The contrast between those classes and CPR Los Angeles was like night and day. We had a great experience this time, from the first contact to the post class follow up.
The price was decent, William came to our home, on time, ready to go and very knowledgable. There was no mucking about or wasting time. We (plus a few friends) got the certifications done in a couple of hours, in our own home in an extremely efficient manner. I would recommend this option to anyone looking to get some no-​nonsense CPR and first aid training. A great service!

William is awesome. Funny, engaging, clear, knowledgeable and attentive. He made sure everyone knew what they were doing and individualized some training for specific needs of those in class. Class was small and overall experience was great. Highly recommend if you need to get CPR/​First AId trained or certified. Don’t R.E.S.T., do it now, F.A.S.T. (those acronyms will mean something to you if you take the class)!

Our two friends and we just had our pediatric CPR and first aid class with William. He came to our home exactly on time. We all had a wonderful experience and feel more prepared now as expectant parents. The price, convenience, and the personalized attention of our own private class just can’t be beat (far better and more economical option than those hospital or birth center classes)
Yes, you could watch YouTube videos on how to deal with emergency situations, but the hands on practice is invaluable to me. You really have to press much harder than you might imagined on the chest, and waiting for 10 seconds to check for breathing is a lot longer than you might think (especially in a panic!) William had us rehearse through the entire procedure and also had good situational questions that helped us think through different variations and the reasons behind it.
If you are an expecting parent, I really recommend getting a few friends together and take the class from William (you might get group discount). Makes a for a fun and educational time with your friends and you will get quite a bit of workout from the CPR practice.
p. s. And don’t forget to take a group picture with your friends and the baby mannequins after the class :)

My husband and I were looking for an infant CPR class to take before our baby was born. Most of the classes we found online were expensive, long or in an inconvenient location — until we came across CPR Los Angeles and read the excellent reviews for William.
William was a fantastic instructor. He was personable, professional, patient and informative. He’s very experienced and knew the answer to every question we asked. He was also very encouraging and complimentary to us as expecting parents for proactively seeking out the training.

This was my first time to get CPR/​AED certified and I had several reasons to accomplish this task. While I was excited about it, the thought of the course was very unnerving as I am a CFO and have absolutely no medical background. I imagined being lost in a crowd of too many people and not getting a chance to learn proper techniques or ask specific questions I might have.
For these reasons, I am very thankful and lucky to have found William’s class. He was thorough in his teaching and carefully watched my technique. I REALLY lucked out because I actually had one-​on-​one training which is an environment I learn best. I sincerely feel I got the BEST training I could have found and I truly recommend his course whether you need to get certified or not. I left feeling that everyone should be educated and certified in this area because you never know when you might need it.

Before I took the class, I did some research and basically everyone else charges an arm and a leg to get CPR AED trained.

I am starting a new job as an instructor to a physical fitness class and needed to take CPR training. I could not find a class that worked with my schedule. I found CPR Los Angeles thru Unilocal and read the great reviews.
Once I contacted William, he was able to work around MY schedule. I have a 7-​month-​old baby, so finding someone to work around my schedule was AMAZING!!! William was on time and very professional. I was given readings and homework that I needed to complete before our lesson. On the day of, He brought with him all the props needed to do the class and was on time.
I learned a lot. Since I got the one on one lesson, all my questions were answered. Plus the price was very reasonable!!! I will definitely recommend him to any other person that needs CPR training.

I have an infant and I didn’t have anyone to watch him, but I needed my CPR /​AED in order to take my personal trainer exam. I emailed William to inquire about his availability and set it up for him to come to my home. This was amazing, since going to an actual location would be a huge task not to mention finding a place that would allow me to bring my child.
William arrived at my house on time and was very patient with me and the fact that I had a infant who never spends time away from his mom (interruptions). He made sure I knew what I was doing and he answered all of my questions
I had my homework ready so in total it took about 2 hours.
This is the only way to go if you want to get CPR /​AED certified in my opinion. Would gladly recommend him to anyone!
P.s he didn’t charge extra to come to my home, and his price was cheaper than any location I would have to go to and spend money on gas for!
P. s.s lol I took my personal trainer exam… and passed (they had some CPR questions on the exam as well) ! Woo hoo!

William is a really good instructor. I have wanted to get CPR certified for some time, and his course was quick, to the point, and enjoyable. We scheduled a one-​on-​one session that I found to be very hands on and easy to understand.
I now feel confident in my abilities, and I recommend CPR Los Angeles to anyone that wants to get their CPR certification. Thanks again!

Faster + Cheaper + Better
William’s the man! I needed to get CPR/​AED (Adult/​Child/​Infant) certified for a job I’ll be applying for shortly and for just a little more than half the price of getting the exact same certification through the Red Cross, (in which I would have had to sign up for a class and work to their schedule), William helped me schedule a time and place that was convenient for ME.
Not only that, but he was super knowledgeable and patient, answering all my questions and taking care to make sure I really understood the process. He also had all the necessary props/​dummies, etc so I didn’t feel like I was receiving a sub-​standard training experience. In fact I’m fully convinced that I received more personal attention than I would have if I had taken it with the Red Cross. Now I feel totally confident that if I was ever in a position where I needed to administer CPR, I’d know exactly what to do!
Save yourself the extra time and money and get certified with CPR Los Angeles!
