The very nicest people you could ask for clean and fresh processing of poultry. I was able to bring in my five homegrown turkeys to be processed. The men carried my carriers out of the truck and brought them in for me. That may not seem like a big deal however I’ve spent the last six months raising these birds semi free range and having to capture them in order to bring them in was a circus. Imagine a middle aged woman crawling around on hands and knees underneath the trampoline where the birds were housed trying to grab them without getting pecked to death. Powerful wings slamming me across the face and shoulders while I try to grab the legs. Once secured then crawling out five times hefting the subdued birds thankfully the husband was there to help me up each time. Moral of this experience, I take on too much. But there are lovely people out there that will help you clean up your ill advised adventures. The YouTube videos were too daunting with the task of de feathering 5 huge birds by myself. These professional services are incredible to turn to when this DIY person doesn’t have the tools and time to get the job done right. I was in and out in under 30 minutes.

I found out about this place on while looking for halal places to eat. My friend and I decided to check it out during lunch time. Parking was easy and it’s pretty easy to get to. When you walk in, you can see workers processing the chicken in the back. If you want Halal chicken you gotta ask for it; otherwise, you’ll get their non-halal, off the assembly line, variety. My friend and I purchased the game hen, which the attendant said tastes better. It was about $ 14 a chicken. There were roosters and other types of hen, also. They cleaned it, chopped it up, and bagged it for us. Wow! Fresh chicken and it only took like 15 minutes. The line can get long, though. While we were waiting, it got to five people long. They accept phone orders, once you get to know them, though.

This place is great! They have live chicken that you can have butchered halal and cut the way you like. They also have fresh eggs and spices. This is not a normal meat place where you go in and they have different parts of meat already prepared for you. The chicken are butchered to order and you have to buy the whole chicken. You get charged $ 2.09/lb if you do not keep the head and feet, and $ 1.96/lb if you keep the head and feet. The options are hard or soft, color or white, skin on or off, and how many pieces to get the chicken cut into. The owner was really nice and helped me through the ordering process since it was my first time. He said that sometimes they have duck. Will definitely keep going back!
