Custom Blind & Carpet, Inc. has been in business since 1989. We have become a favorite around the San Fernando Valley. One of the main reasons for our popularity is that we are the only Hunter Douglas Gallery dealer in the San Fernando Valley. We just had blinds for our entire house installed from Custom Blind and Carpet, Tarzana. We were more than pleased. Jorge and Shant were so extremely helpful and accommodating. They had a huge selection of blinds and gave us wonderful advice on choosing colors. Shant came right on time to measure and their pricing was excellent. We got Hunter Douglas and were surprised and how reasonably priced they were. Our blinds came early and were just installed. Their installer, Richard, also came right on time and did a superior job on installing our new blinds. They look awesome! We couldn’t be happier and would recommend them to anyone looking for blinds.

I’ve been using Custom Blinds & Carpet for 13 years and will continue to use them. Mike and his guys are the BEST! They have installed new flooring, carpet and window treatments in all my properties. They have a large selection of quality products to choose from. I’ve haven’t been disappointed in any of my products from Custom Blinds & Carpet. The few times there have been questions or problems with something they installed they we’re quick to come out and resolve the issue. The staff is friendly and professional.

Quick, efficient, and reasonable price! Got custom wood Venetian blinds. It took less than a week from measurement and ordering to installation. Faster than I expected especially given the holidays. Oh and they look great installed. Thanks again!

Had a great experience with Custom Blinds and Carpet. I compared them to Costco and Home Depot and they were the best when you looked at quality, price, and customer service. I ordered blinds and sliding panels for all of the windows and doors in our new home, and they were incredibly quick to order and install. Did a great job. Would definitely recommend them.

I had just moved into my new loft and wanted roller shades for 3 of my windows that cover from ceiling to floor. Custom Blind & Carpet was 1 of 3 choices I had in mind and I went in on Saturday and spoke to Mike. I had originally planned to hire someone from craigslist because they’re usually cheaper but after speaking with Mike, Custom Binds & Carpet actually gave me better pricing!
Mike was extremely professional and explained to me all the different levels of shades, textures, colors, quality, etc. (I had no idea coming in). Mike came the following week and measured the windows and told me he will install the shades as soon as the they are made to fit my windows. I’m an artist/​designer so I am usually picky and anal about most things, but I am extremely happy with the result and would recommend to anyone looking for blinds and shades!

Forget about those large corporate chain stores. Here’s a perfect example of why you’ll want to support small local businesses… Family owned; brothers Leon and Mike have been serving the community for years. These gentlemen pride themselves on doing everything the right way and with the utmost honesty, integrity and professionalism. When my Father-​In-​law told me he had been shopping around for carpeting two bedrooms, I recommended CB&C in Studio City. He was very happy I did.
First he got a free estimate. He said he really appreciated the personal and great customer service. Not only did they give him the best price on carpet, pad and installation, but the best quality as well.
The turnaround from time of order to installation was quick too. The installation was fast and friendly. Great quality work by expert installers. They did an excellent job. It looks fantastic and my father-​in-​law couldn’t be more pleased.

Contacted Mike around 2 months ago after I acquired a new home in need of many roller shades. I had 3Day Blinds come in as well to get a quote. Costs were more or less the same but quality of Hunter Douglas was far superior to what 3Day offered me. Went with Custom Blinds in the end and do not regret my choice. The house dressed with all the new shades looks very modern and nice. Delivery was like 2 weeks after confirmation which is acceptable.
Contacted Mike twice to troubleshot a few things within the following months and he was always prompt to respond to my requests and accommodate my needs.
I would certainly recommend going there to anyone in need of fairly affordable, higher quality blinds. No brainer to me and do not waste your time looking everywhere on Unilocal or on Google. This IS the place.

A great experience from start to finish. Very professional on the phone and the in person visit. After getting three quotes for remote, silhouette black out shades, CB&C ended up being the winning bid. In addition to their reasonable pricing, Mike was very helpful in determining the right size of the silhouette blade and the best layout for the battery. He actually talked me out of paying more for motorizing a more accessible shade to save costs. When a small magnet piece was noticed to be missing, one call to Mike and it was in the mail and delivered to us directly within days. His installers were nice, professional and clean. Highly recommend CB&C.

I can’t recommend Custom Blind and Carpet Inc enough. My brother and I walked into the Studio City location and we were met with wonderful customer service. All out questions were answered and we were able to place our order right then and there. Luis, the gentlemen that came to measure and install the shutters was incredibly nice, professional, and knowledgable. I love this company. After week of dealing with contractors that did not show up when they said they would, I was incredibly happy to be working with the guys at Custom Blind and Carpet Inc– they were always on time, and right on schedule, and their work is impeccable. Their team is incredibly professional and they were wonderful during every stage of the process. Here are some pics of the shutters.

Found via Unilocal.Had these guys do my new office with 11 roller shades. Had my assistant comp shop 5 or 6 options around LA, Custom Blind & Carpet was by far the price winner. Easy consultation, 2 weeks for fabrication, then an efficient and pleasant installation. Final results exceed expectation, highly recommended.

Found this place on Unilocal.I had gotten a estimate from another company, but I wasn’t feeling confident about their ability to install quality shades. So when Mike came to give me an estimate, I was completely impressed by his honesty and expert advice and decided right then that I would go with Custom Blinds and gave him a deposit. Mike was professional, offered suggestions on what would work and what wouldn’t. The appointment was scheduled and the installer arrived as scheduled and did the job. One of the blinds came with a cord that was too long — technically an order defect. The installer called them, I had to follow up though rather than them calling me, but once I called to follow up, they came and fixed it right away. They did a very nice job and I would highly recommend this company!

–Our one-​stop shop for carpets — and now blinds, too-.
We’ve been carpet customers for years: excellent quality, friendly personalized service and, not incidentally, very convenient. In fact, every carpeted room in our house was purchased from Jack, measured by Mike, and installed by their amazing guys. When we suffered yet another flood in our home-​office (unsolicited advice: beware the combination of hillside home + heavy rain), we came in to choose a new carpet, and ended up replacing a window shade as well. That turned out so well, we’re going to add another … and possibly two more. Well priced — and did I mention convenient? Highly recommend.

I walked into the shop in Studio city only needing a clip for my 5 year old window blinds. They were very accommodating to my needs and special ordered the clips. I had them within a few days. This is the place to go! Jack and Leon are very knowledgeable and pressure free. Some carpet and window treatment retailers tend to be pushy and we certainly have a low tolerance for that. The store is not overwhelmingly large and everything is presented clearly and with many options to choose from. The pricing is fair and the quality is evident. Everything from customer service down to installation was above and beyond our high expectations.
The installers truly work as if they’re installing something in their own home. Friendly, honest, punctual, and fair pricing. I will recommend to all friends and family. And they will always be my top choice for carpet or window treatments. Great work!

Mike came out and fixed the issues with the carpet right away. a lot of the issues were because of the way the house was built and how the builders put in tile or the previous owners and the baseboards.
He fixed the problem areas as much as he could (without having to install new tile in the bathrooms or new baseboards). Overall, we are happy with the quality of customer service and the quality of the job. We’d definitely use them again if needed in the future.
